Service was stellar and food was phenomenal.
Food was great. Loved the atmosphere. They brought champagne out because it was my two year anniversary with my girlfriend .
Brunch here is fantastic! The food and service is excellent, our experience here never disappoints. It is consistently worth the value. We’ll be back!
We've been to Beast and Bottle a few times for dinner for special occasions or a nice dinner out, and have been blown away. This was, though, our first time for brunch, and it did not disappoint! The vibe for brunch in the morning was great - fun, great music, bright atmosphere. They had a lineup of some great elevated takes on a few classic brunch dishes, as well as a handful of lunch choices, and some delicious and creative morning cocktails, if that's your thing. Service was perfect, as always, and we'll definitely be back!
Lots of authenticity in this space. I prefer small, focused restaurants, and this place fits the bill.
Had the lamb ragú pasta, carpaccio, and a green salad. Each dish was on point.
Great food, service and an intimate environment. Would definitely eat here again.
We save Beast & Bottle for a special night out every year because they consistently deliver on exceptional food. We know that every dish we order is going to be unique and delicious. Not only that but the service is always on point - very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Everything was great
We decided on 4 small plates to share and found them creative, visually pleasing and flavorful. This restaurant was less noisy than some and we were able to have a conversation. I would recommend it to friends.
The service was very good. Greeted promptly drinks addressed as soon as we were seated at our table.
However, we thought most of the food was only ok and too high priced.
We had the house fries with the fried egg aioli. The fries were very good and seasoned nicely. The egg aioli added nothing and was bland.
We sent back the root vegetable top soufflé. The word soufflé is the past participle of the French verb souffler which means "to breathe" or "to puff". This was not light or fluffed or puffed and the only flavor that came through was the mint.
The pine nut risotto definitely needed some seasoning, especially some white pepper.
The fig + pig flatbread was probably the best thing we had. It was good.
The grass fed beef tartare was excellent beef. But I was very disappointed that the caper berries were cut into very small slices. And the sauce was put over the beef and I thought it would have been better on the side.
We also had the leeks. This would have been better with an egg yolk vs the hard boiled egg. The capers were a perfect compliment.
There is no salt or pepper on the tables. You may be able to ask for it.
They recommend 3 small plates per person. This really turned out not to be necessary for our group. I also think that $16 for a small plate is way too pricey especially when I could order an entrée for $22 or $29.
The chocolate dacquoise was a small piece but it is rich and was very good.
The bottom line for our group was the service was good, the food was ok, the prices were high
Always wonderful! Great food and service. So many great allergy friendly options!
Excellent. Top 5 in Denver; top 10 in all of CO. Creative and incredibly well prepared.
My partner and I dined here for her birthday because this has been our favorite restaurant in Denver for the past 3 or 4 years. We always enjoy our meal, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, and it's worth every penny.
Went for my birthday where they had put my name on the menu. A nice little thing that didn't take much time. The server Scott was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Food was delicious and flavorful. Great drink menu, my Mom doesn't drink and they made her a mocktail, cute. Dessert which I do not indulge in much was fantastic as well. Definitely on my go back to list. Music was a little loud to have indoor conversations but they have an outdoor patio to help with that.
Met a special friend there for dinner. Had excellent beef tartare as appetizer and excellent lamb pappardelle ragu. Service was considerate as we wanted to have time to talk and sip our wine. We were very impressed with the knowledgeable waiter and his wine recommendations! Will definitely go back!
Went for an Easter brunch. Menu had a great range of options, with very well executed dishes. Bacon was meaty, smoky, terrific except for being way too salty. Other items were lovely. Professional, attentive, and discreet waitstaff. Looking forward to returning to dinner for the full experience. The outdoor seating is on a bit of a slope so we have some concerns about what that would be like. We sat inside the small place which was not too noisy.
Fantastic meal, fantastic service. We loved everything and will be back for sure.
They did such an amazing job not only accommodating my boyfriend with his recent hip surgery but with also making him feel incredibly special for his birthday with complimentary sparkly as we sat down, a happy birthday message on the menu and a dessert. They went above and beyond. The atmosphere is nice: quiet, quaint and cozy on a blustery day. The first two dishes were not as awe-inspiring as we expected but our second two were amazing. Mind blowing actually. Will definitely be back especially as the seasons change. Looking forward to seeing how the menu changes with the seasons. Can’t wait!
Great time! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was fantastic and exactly as advertised on the menu. Drinks were great, too! I can’t remember our server’s name (I think her name was Melissa?) but she was fantastic, friendly, and fast!
WOW! Complete satisfaction. Food was uniformly awesome, from the house-made charcuterie to the appletaart terrine. First-class bar, wonderfully personal and friendly service, great wine list. Denver is lucky to have an establishment like this. We will be back and will bring friends!
One of the best restaurants in Denver. Food is amazing.
Excellent restaurant. Will definitely go back. Went for our anniversary and they even printed special menus for us that read "happy anniversary" as well as brought us complimentary champagne. I love this place. Highly recommend..
The first surprise was the call I received the day before confirming the reservation. Any special occasion? Any food sensitivities? Any time constraints? Great predictor.
Service was among the best I've seen in the US. The menu is interesting, but filled with culinary terminology we needed google's help with. Portions are modest, but tasty. The downgrade on the food was due to a poor cut of veal loin; the cook looked perfect, but I couldn't get my knife through it.
An alternative dish was happily provided.
If you are curious about farm to table and haute cuisine you might like Beast + Bottle.
Order the Pearsonal Jesus cocktail! It's a delight! The octopus was not what I expected, but it was pleasant. The duck pasta with consomme was strange and a very meager portion - a little disappointing, but the duck prosciutto was excellent. The leg of lamb and agnolotti with winter veg was excellent. Wait staff were all attentive, friendly, professional. Pricey for such small portions. Nice ambiance.
All but the service was good.
Dopest spot in Denver.
Spectacular menu. Loved that you can go big with a meat entree or small plate it up and share with friends. Cocktail situation is out of this world, and we all got schooled on a new amazing bourbon from Chicago. So many things on that menu to come back and try.
Second time for brunch at Beast and Bottle. Our new favorite brunch spot when we come to Denver. Friendly, well informed staff and exceptional food!
Birthday night out
Nice decor. Friendly staff. Yummy cocktails. Wine list was too eclectic. It looked like they were trying to offer a bunch of unknown wines they bought at a cheap price and pass them off as “gems”. We ordered two different reds. Both inferior. Rethink that Wine program.
Appetizers were delicious. My entree was a sous vide lamb.. I think they forgot to turn on the sous vide machine. It was so tough I sent it back. I saw another guy send his back too. My wife’s lamb pasta was excellent. Panna Cotta was Devine.
It was good, a bizarre take on "chef's special" where you choose the majority of the foods you eat. But alas, to each their own. I don't think it's overpriced but in Denver, far better value out there. Worth a try, then move on. Decent experience altogether.
I wasn't crazy about the risotto and was super confused by the spinach dip thing, but the service was good . I was dining with a teenage boy (big appetite and not a fan of small plates or sharing) and an elderly woman who had a hard time hearing our very gracious server.
Consistently knocking it out of the park. Service is never short of fantastic. Menu is exciting and imaginative. Wine pairings are complex and thoughtful. Makes my tastebuds get jiggy and never disappoints.
Pasta was undercooked, hard as a rock. Had 9pm reservation, didn’t get seated until 9:45. Polite host did buy us a round of drinks but were late to the show post dinner.
Such an amazing place to eat! This time we had the four course option and that was incredible. Highly recommend.
We have been here 6 or 7 times before and always had great experiences. This time was very bad for various reasons: they sat us in a very tight corner where I literally could not raise my arm near the wall; it took 30 minutes to get another drink; it took over an hour to get our next course (meanwhile the table next to us had at least 5 different servers coming by); despite me calling to confirm the night before, and disclosing I had a fish allergy, reconfirming my allergy when we checked in, I was told my lamb pasta dish had fish in it after ordering it over an hour before. We cancelled the remainder of our meal and went and picked up pizza. Our experience this time was not consistent with our previous meals and did not in any way meet our expectations.
Loved it! Very accommodating to specific dietary requirements.
Our Sunday lunch at Beast was pleasant. The patio was nice and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was disappointing though. We had the pancake souffle and the chicken thigh sandwich. The souffle was interesting but quite dry. The chicken seemed really salty.
Sat at the BAR which was better than any table, had a great conversation with JON, who made amazing drinks and kept things flowing with wine that matched the dishes. Beef Tartare was amazing, Pork too, fun to hang with the bar people. If you only go there for JON and have a drink that’s good enough. Very talented and makes the evening memorable.
First time to Beast and Bottle and we love everything about this restaurant! The food is outstanding with lots of flavor and depth. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Plating and presentation is nice. Service was friendly and reasonably timely considering quality. Overall highly recommend dining experience for date night or special occasion!
This was our second time at this restaurant and once again we weren't impressed with the food at all. Considering how expensive everything was we would have thought the food would be mind blowing but it wasn't even mediocre. Pasta was over done and oysters were terrible. Service was great and so were our mixed cocktails but we came for the food. Should have went to Acorn...
