Beast and Bottle
Run by siblings Paul C. Reilly, who mans the burners, and Aileen Reilly, who oversees front of house, beast + bottle is located in Denver’s Uptown neighborhood.
The “beast” refers to the restaurant’s appreciation for the whole animal, utilizing all parts to honor its integrity. The owners’ relationships with farmers, ranchers and purveyors bring ethically and humanely raised, responsibly harvested and organic (whenever possible) ingredients to the table.
The “bottle” refers to drinks. b+b’s wine program is influenced by the European tradition of drinking wine how you’d like – whether that’s a glass or by the liter.
The menu changes whenever the kitchen pleases based on what’s in-season and what the cooks are enjoying at the moment. What remains constant is a steady focus on sustainability and versatility of ingredients.

We like Beast + Bottle best for brunch, but know that this is a serious restaurant, and a good option for every meal of the day.
Good food but heavily focused on one main which I find off putting to most diners. A lot of people don’t like lamb and the majority of the menu was such. Agreed - don’t go here if that’s not your thing but I think a restaurant should be more open item menu.
We spent 4 nights in Denver and hit up great restaurants during our visit, but Beast + Bottle was a huge highlight and our favorite by far. We booked an early reservation and were the first in on a Thursday night. Even though the staff was settling in, we were seated immediately in a cute booth by a friendly host. Our server, Nick (manager, if you're reading this, give him a high five for me), was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. Great wine list, but don't pass up the cocktails! I had the Rhubarbra Ann and it was delightful. Fried zucchini appetizer was delicious. For entrees we had the lamb burger with fries and the lamb pappardelle. We were surprised at how good the fries were with the beet ketchup. Creative and tasty dessert menu- we had the carrot cake. Yum! But the best dish was definitely the lamb pappardelle. I've had a lot of pasta in my life but oh god this dish! I cried tears of joy. I am requesting this dish as my last meal (or every meal of my life). I want to marry this dish. Have it tattooed onto my body. Have it written on my tombstone. I am not kidding. Even when I was full, I could not stop eating it if I tried. I am devastated that I live 2,000 miles away. Loved the food... don’t skip out on the ice-cream! I’m not usually a big dessert person but it was awesome. The only issue I had was the smell... it smelt, for lack of a better way to say it, like a bathroom. I got used to it after awhile but both my dinner partner and I noticed it right away.

Great place for a glass of wine and dessert. The ambience and location of the restaurant are great for a stop after dinner. The main courses were good ,except too salty. Across the starters and mains elements were great, except a heavy dose of salt.
Had a lovely dinner on their patio. Service was attentive and professional. Great for a date night!
I enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance and our server, Nathaniel, provided excellent service. The food was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. I was underwhelmed by the crab cakes - one cake for 29 dollars seems sinister. I don't think we will return because there are other comparable and better priced options in Denver. Still, happy we tried it.

Visited Beast & Bottle for a birthday dinner and the food was delicious. We had a pick eater among us and he left very pleased. Staff was very courteous & sweet offering complimentary champagne and a dessert for the table for my birthday. Would definitely go back!
Best food we had the entire trip. Came for brunch and had the "LAMB QUARTER POUNDER + FRIES" and "ARCTIC CHAR BENEDICT"
Had another great meal here. If you aren't a fan of meat, this isnt the place for you. Well thought out dishes with truly local ingredients. Great wine list, awesome creative cocktails.

Everything we sampled was outstanding, including the wines. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
It was early Saturday and the music was very loud. So laud that we could hardly hear each other speak. It took an extraordinarily long time for the waiter to come to our table and to get our check. The food was good but the overall experience was no great.
My wife and I have been eating at Beast & Bottle for five years. We've never had a bad meal. To keep the food quality so consistent for years is a real accomplishment.
We had reservations and were sat immediately upon arrival. Waited 15 minutes before I flagged down someone to wait on us, which was odd seeing there were only 3 other occupied tables in the entire restaurant. Once we got someone to wait on us, everything there on out was wonderful. Food was amazing!
Loved this place. Went for brunch; the cocktails are creative and really well done (that mezcal and cold brew combo should be patented) and the dishes are the same. Decor and vibe is casual cool. Only dish that wasn’t a home run was the corned lamb hash (would have preferred potatoes cooked more), but I still cleaned the plate. Cast iron sticky bun ftw.

Nice atmosphere, great service, good food, very pricey for what you get. This is a small plates restaurant. Wer were advised to order 2-3 dishes/person. That would amount to $30-$45/person without alcohol. The food is good, but not at the level that I would expect to pay those kinds of prices.
Never having been to Denver before we were not sure what to expect. We took my adult nephew and his girlfriend out to dinner. We wanted to eat the way we do in New York - NOT a chain and NOT a hotel restaurant. We wanted something that had a casual welcoming ambiance, but a refined menu. Beast and Bottle's menu is limited by virtue of being farm to table, but they mention this on their website. The menu focused on lamb, something I do not normally enjoy. I was very happily surprised. Everything we chose was excellent. The atmosphere was casual, but sophisticated in a rustic way. We had an excellent bottle(s) of wine recommended by the waiter. I would recommend it, and intend to go again. Bravo!
We arrived about 15 min early for our 6 pm reservation, and were seated immediately as there were almost no other diners inside yet. There were a few outside though. Nice dining area, clean, bright, and with a upscale rustic charm to it. We ordered cocktails and The appetizer of fried green tomatoes. So good! Light and crunchy on the outside and tender tomato inside. Seasoned perfectly. Then onto the bread and burrata plate, creamy and lovely, the lamb au jus with tender lamb and goat cheese tucked into French brad and a rich sauce. The best was the special for the night, a sirloin frites, with a fresh pea and mint chimichurri like sauce. I don’t remember what they called it but that’s what it seemed like to me. The steak was tender and Perfectly cooked, sauce was a perfect complement, and the fries thin and fresh and well seasoned. We had a lovely meal, the quality is evident, and we had a server who was attentive and knew his stuff. We will most definitely return to this restaurant,
We always love coming to Beast and Bottle. The Pimento Cheese Dip is always top notch, if you don't like lamb as a main dish, don't come here. They serve a lot of lamb. One of the farms they get their produce from is Delaney Farms, Project Worthmore now runs it. PW is an amazing community that changes refugees lives. Come here to support their cause.

I don’t know how it could possibly have been a better dining experience. The most surprising factor was the noise level. It has a rather clean, stark looking interior, so I just assumed it would be incredibly loud like every restaurant in America. Surprise, surprise. The owner very cleverly installed acoustic panels very discretely in the ceiling. Made all the difference. We could actually carry on a conversation. Great service and even better food.

Overall an excellent experience. You can tell the chefs take pride in the food they prepare and the local ingredients. Taste was amazing and service was exemplary. Only slight would be the portion sizes which effected my rating for Value.

Had a fabulous night all the way around! The cocktails to appetizers to main courses; spectacular! This has become one of my favorites that will take me on the mtn to drive into Denver. Everyone is friendly and NICE! They actually care about your dining experience and the food being serviced. They are educated in the foods on their menu and want their guests to have a memorable visit.

We had a very nice dinner for my husband here on a Thursday night and it was quiet and lovely! The food was absolutely delicious and our server was very knowledgeable about each of the dishes and everything turned out phenomenal.
Small venue that feels cozy. It was a perfect day for the patio. Happy hour is an amazing deal. We ordered the 2 lamb pasta dishes and they were both amazing. Great farm to table restaurant!
