This place is really amazing.The 5 course selection are brilliant.They have really creative ideas about each ingredient.The vodka ice room for me is the must do list!
All in all,try this perfect dine out place! Sooo good and so worthy.

The food was honestly so tasteless and bland I will never go here again. 300 $ and I had to go home and cook after not only due to the lack of actual food but also becuase it was boring and pathetic for any restaurant, let alone one that rips you off this much. What a joke. Super disapointed. If you have the choice Araxi is 1000000% better if we're comparing quality. Honestly i want my money back. Never again.

Over priced, and trying too hard. Flavour and texture combinations didn't work, and the seafood was overcooked. Service was plentiful -- we were almost never served twice by the same person throughout our meal -- but a bit intrusive / prodding at the outset, which detracted from the laid-back vibe we were seeking

Don't miss the liquid nitro handmade at tableside ice cream. Don't miss the vodka ice room tasting. Ask for a tour of the wine cellar. Amazing wine list, amazing menu, amazing taste, amazing bill. It was a wonderful evening. Ask for Aasha as your server/feeder. I will be back next time I am in Whistler.

Did not live up to the reputation we had heard. The wine list was great but the food seemed pretty average for a high end restaurant. Maybe if we had done the tasting menu we would have a different opinion. The sommelier was great, our waitress was okay, the SAs seemed more professional than our waitress. Overall, I would not return (unless it was just for drinks or vodka tasting).

We love this place, been coming for over 20 years. Food is always excellent. Service is great. If Michelin were to rate it, I would say 3*.
Only problem This visit was the plates used for the hamachi appetizer. My wife’s knife slid into the food and subsequently the fork, each time requiring a fresh utensil. They need to pay attention to the functionality of their plating.

Great service, was not impressed with food. The price point and the food were not in sync. Food was slightly above basic. Mash potatoes were pretty much one step above instant whipped. They have truffles on menu?? Why not truffle mash or garlic? Brussels sprouts could have been crisped more with more flavor. End of story everything needed more flavor and effort. It’s not bad, it’s just not the best either. Price point is off the charts compared to what your actually getting.

Everything was delicious. Served beautifully and perfectly cooked. Do have to say that it is very expensive-much more than the other restaurants in Whistler which are similar to it. I think it was worth it for a special occasion but would not be ideal for regular dining.

Wow! What a culinary experience! The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I had the sashimi appetizer bit was so good it pretty much ruined sushi for me. This was followed by the lamb, that was so well presented I didn’t want to disturb it by eating it. The server was very accommodating to my little girls needs. Our wine glasses were never empty and the sommelier helped us choose a delicious wine. Overall, we had an excellent experience. This is one of the more expensive places to eat but the food and service quality is well worth it.

Truly amazing food, the best we went during our stay in Whistler. Yet they are too well aware ... Service was okish, nothing to be remembered about and overall experience is a bit pricey - 5 bucks for a basket of bread when you spent 700 bucks for a party of 4 is a bit ... too much.

This wasn’t my first time at Bearfoot Bistro but I haven’t been back for 3 years. The past experiences at this restaurant has been great but when I took a date there for Valentines Day it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the ribeye with foie gras for my main course and my date ordered the duck with scallops. To start we had the mushroom soup which was good and the steak tartare was good as well. It wasn’t like mind blowing good but it was good. Now on to the main dishes... my steak I ordered it medium rare and it came out a more than medium. It was almost between medium and well done. The foie gras was completely over cooked which was a big disappointment. My date’s duck was tough to chew, over cooked and tasted pretty boring. The scallops were way over cooked as well. For dessert we opted for the nitrogen ice cream... again nothing spectacular... we paid an extra $20 each person to the ice cream which was a complete ripoff. It whatever it is what it is and we get it. They make the nitrogen ice cream table side and try to make a whole show out of it but I’m from LA and nitrogen ice cream is nothing new to me so maybe I was kind of thrown off by the whole experience. Nonetheless, I doubt I’d be coming back in the future. Oh and our bill came up to $550 including a 20% tip and a $80 bottle of red wine.

Great food, people coming out of the vodka bar were a little distracting, the restaurant was a bit dated in decor. We enjoyed our time tho will defiantly be back for the service and the food!

The food was excellent (even though the executive chef was not there on one of the busiest Saturday evenings of the Winter season...). For a restaurant that takes themselves this seriously the decor and the comfort of the table (our table two of the guests had a metal bar preventing them for putting their legs comfortably under the table) was unacceptable. The service was not good - had better service at restaurants in Whistler that are suppose to be average. Not worth the prices and definitely not one of Canada’s 100 best restaurants. Actually embarrassing selling this as one of Canada’s best restaurants!

The pianist was very talented and created a nice ambiance, service was fantastic, as was the (albeit pricey) visit to the vodka room. We had the 3 course tasting menu, which was quite overpriced - as both I and my partner work/cook in high end restaurants. We don’t have a problem paying expensive prices, if the food is actually cooked properly. Extra money for bread - fine, becoming more common. But paying $110+ for overcooked beef and rabbit isn’t in line with what we like spending money on. Apparently it’s better if the owner is there, but I probably won’t experience that, as Araxi won me over after dining there the night before.

Was taken back with main courses at $60 each. Bread for the table extra cost. Water extra cost. I was abit dumbfounded. Menu does not provide prices.

Service was very good but felt the ambience was stiff and not ‘comfortable elegance’. Felt abit smothered by staff asking non stop if everything ok and interrupting our conversations to do so. Feel bad saying that as they were very polite and pleasant and trying hard.

Vodka tasting $48 pp for 4 half shots .. that was enough but still pricey.

3 course meal is $110 CAD .. I think this is a special occasion restaurant as long as you know the prices upfront.

Our main course meals were very good.

Nobody greeted us at the entrance for a while till a bartender finally felt bad enough and came out to help. 3-4 people finally came to check the reservation and took our coats but it wasn’t clear who was in charge because everyone was so unprofessional. Food was excellent, but again, servers don’t seem to have good knowledge and trying painfully hard to impress.

Our second visit in a few days was just a great as the first one. We tried different things on menu this time and were thrilled by the seafood and oysters. The kids menu is tops according to child and she said the apple dessert was the best choice ! Everyone made us feel welcomed and at home. We can’t wait to come back !

Great Oysters and Lobster main course and the wine selected by the Sommelier was great also.
The table was next to the door, which meant we a had a cool draft occasionally.

La mesera prtendió incluir una propina del 18% sin consultarme. cuando me dí cuenta le pedí la rebajara ya que yo dejaría el 15% además que eramos una mesa de 5 comensales incluidos dos niños. A lo cual se molestó.
