Awesome experience. This was our 2nd time at Beano‘ s and we had a great time.
Service was impeccable and the food was fantastic.
The only con is that it’s pricey.
No season is complete without a trip to Beano's! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, and our most recent experience exceeded expectations. We were warmly greeted and the servers are at the top of their game. There are so many "musts" on the menu, but don't miss out on the melt in your mouth oysters bacon feller, foie gras (make sure to pair it with the Château de Rayne Vigneau Sauternes), and venison. The wine list is diverse and extensive, and we enjoyed several perfectly paired varietals. We sat at the bar and had a lovely evening chatting with the bartender David.
Expensive and under whelming.
Fabulous from sleigh ride to desert.
A great meal in a great location to top off a great week in Beaver Creek.
Great experience. We will not forget the wonderful evening.
A memorable night started with an explosion of evening stars while traveling sleigh ride style to the restaurant. Staff is eager to please. Live music in the background. Sommelier is on hand to help with all the wonderful wine selections. Food delicious. Venison was the winner at our table. If you have the opportunity, a must experience.
We came to Beano’s to celebrate a birthday and visit with friends. The snowcat sleigh ride up was great and the service when arriving was very welcoming.
The winter menu was very delicious. I had the winter soup, kale salad, foie gras, Berkshire pork porterhouse, and the peanut butter dessert (initially I wanted to try the toffee pudding but they unfortunately ran out). In addition to this, I did the wine pairing for the meal. Everything that came out was delicious and no additional seasonings were needed. My only complaint was the for such a fancy pork, it was over cooked. There were some dry chewy parts which was disappointing. The flavor profile was there and I was so excited to try it. The wine pairing for that one wasn’t terrible but after trying all the others, it was my least favorite. My husband had the beef tenderloin and said it was delicious.
The service was impeccable and what I remembered the restaurant to have from the past. Upon leaving we felt a little rushed although we were told there was no rush. We were asked this a couple of times if we were ready to get on a sleigh ride down. I understand it was to get us a ride down but I think we would have liked to enjoy a few more minutes. Again, not a big deal and service overall was phenomenal.
We enjoyed our time up there and the ambience was very nice. It was a nice added touch to have the singer they have there sing happy birthday to me. We’ll be back in the future to try then again. Thanks!
I took my husband here for his birthday. The food was absolutely spectacular! The service was great as well. There are 5 courses included in the price. I felt they have a timeframe to work with in getting people up and down the mountain so felt a little bit rushed through the courses as you order all 5 courses at one time and they bring you them one at a time but in pretty quick succession. Secondly, there were a LOT of children here. I’m a mom to 2 kids so understand however when you’re paying $130/person, I have no idea why you wouldn’t invest the $80/child plate in a babysitter rather than have them at the restaurant. I know it’s an individual decision and not really a Beano’s issue however some of the kids there were running back and forth through the restaurant and ruined the ambiance. Just an FYI!
Apart from that, I would certainly go back! They had an acoustic guitar player who was amazing and the place was cozy. Great for a date!
The food was impeccable, staff was knowledgeable and helpful, incredible music with a once in a lifetime sleigh ride. Beanos is an experience everyone should add to their bucket list.
Entrees were good but deserts were poorly prepared and salads so so. Apple pie was particularly poor. Meats excellent. Service friendly. Kids had fun with the sleigh ride and slippers. Overall a good experience but expected more for the money.
Grossly overpriced and the ambiance felt like a cafeteria. Way too many people. Along with the live music, couldn’t hear yourself think.
Check it off the list. Experience realized...
The location and sleigh ride experience can’t be beat but the service and food was quite underwhelming. One of our two servers was came across as weary and bored with her job. She never even smiled. She was borderline rude to the two children at our table who were completely pleasant. We sat right in front of the musician and he played with little verve or joy. I will not return here or recommend Beano’s. They need a total reboot as it feels like a “rinse and repeat” nightly show for the staff.
Never disappointed at Beano's. The server, Bianca, was very knowledgeable and helpful for recommendations that were on par for each of my friends. The food was great. It was snowing out during our exit from the restaurant which made for a bit of a different but enjoyable sleigh ride. Hope to make it back next year!
On our trip to Beaver Creek we thought the skiing was going to be the highlight, however, our experience at Beano's Cabin surpassed all expectations. Staff was friendly, live acoustic music, slippers, roaring fire met us at the door. Dinner was spectacular and the wine list was robust.
Excellent experience matched with excellent food. Prix fixe menu with a handful of options for each course. Each course we had was very good. Great wine list, though they could use a few more by-the-glass options. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for something unique and special in Beaver Creek. Be sure to bundle up for the sleigh ride up.
This is an annual family ski trip with my two daughters (12,14) and my husband and we always choose a “sleigh” ride dinner for one evening out. We love the outdoor experience of riding up the mountain being pulled by a snowcat. This was our second visit to the cabin and the food is ALWAYS amazing even for a young picky eater!
The ginger carrot soup was delicious and I’m not sure I would have ordered it off the menu had I a choice. The pork belly and tuna poke appetizers were our favorite from the menu. The venison was cooked to perfection as was the steak entree! Best dessert hands down was the sticky toffee bread pudding served with vanilla ice cream and caramel... Brando’s Cabin never disappoints!
Unfortunately it was a mediocre experience. over-seasoned dishes. Live music and crowd may not be to taste for some. Definitely not a fine dining establishment, rather middle of the road. Snowcat ride is rather fun, but overall value is just not there.
Something got delayed with the soup and dinner took over 3 hrs
Frankly, it is too much food and too much production for a frequent visitor. However, it is a nice outing if you have new friends in the resort. I would not go there by myself anymore — there are better restaurant options at the resort.
Having said that, food was ok, not fantastic. Wines prices are absurdly expensive. Be prepared for $$
Wonderful meal. Heidi was a great server. Eric a fantastic sommelier.
Beano's Cabin exceeded our expectations in all respects. Despite having skied at BC for about 30 years we had never been to Beano's. Although the price for dinner of $135 might cause some concern we viewed it as very reasonable for what you get and there are plenty of choices. Not to mention that the open air round trip snowcat trip from the base to Beano's would be a $30 to $50 value if that were a stand alone concession. From check-in at the BC Chophouse to dropoff at the end of the night, the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. We were fortunate to get long-time server Art as our main server and we had some common Midwest connections. The choices for each course were outstanding, my wife and I ordered different items for each course and all were excellent. The service staff coordinated well to bring the next course even where Art was handling one of his other tables. We also thought the live entertainment was excellent, with a song catalog and range that was unbelievable. This isn't the apres ski loud sing along style from the Cloud 8, Red Lion or Pepi's so it doesn't distract at all from the fine dining in our view. The hostess and staff also kept us informed as to timing of snowcat return trips so we could make sure we didn't have a long wait after we finished dinner. We will be back next year for sure.
Was disappointed in sleigh ride up. In years past, the ride has been more fun and interactive, with history “story” of Beano and the area.
Great food, especially vs Allie’s Cabin. Very attentive service. Strong logistics support, not only in getting there via snowcat but also great heads ups about when to leave. If you’re only going to do one snowcat dinner at BC, choose Beanos.
Great experience. VERY expensive but worth it. Some of the best food in Beaver Creek and excellent service, plus the fun adventure of going up the mountain by snowcat-drawn sled...
My wife and I took our kids and friends for dinner. The ride up is fun. Something you don’t do every day. But it can be cold and snow may be blowing
Service was excellent and the food delicious. I would not take someone who is a picker eater or not into a five course dinner. Our kids ranging From 14-17
Yes it’s a bit pricey but it’s a great way to enjoy a special and different type of dinner
Would do it again with friends
We felt as thought they rushed us through the courses.
For me, there were not enough vegetarian choices.
Great first night of vacation!
Beano’s never disappoints. Total experience is incredible. Not a “value” restaurant but the experience is worth every penny. Very special evening. Service starts at check in at CBar and doesn’t stop until you exit the sleigh after a delicious dinner. Ride up the mountain is fantastic and the restaurant is gorgeous. Recommend the slippers to complete the evening. Pure luxury.
Loved guitar but too loud to visit. Way too much food. Cut down to three course
Great experience with the ride up
Second trip up to Beano's was phenomenal! This time is was for a birthday celebration. The staff was so amazing. Always a 5 star experience! The slippers are still one of the best parts!
Beano's Cabin has something for everyone and some very pleasant surprise dishes! Service is kind and capable with a couple of fun personalities on the sleigh ride and the service staff. Wine list is a nice surprise for a cabin in the woods. We booked early with 2 younger children at first sleigh, and are glad we did. Sure, you'll open your wallet, but only to create a fun memory!
Our food and service were outstanding! I haven’t ever had Venison prepared so well! And it was a gorgeous presentation. The kids were pleased with the menu options offered. Matt, our server was great at describing some of the signature dishes and was very helpful with wine selections. The fois gras was perfect! The kids loved selecting music and tipping the guitarist! ;)
My 6 year old son picked this restaurant, literally! We were eating at BC chophouse (average food) and he saw the snow cat pulling the sleigh and asked to eat there please! I said sure, thinking it was going to be an underwhelming and overpriced dining experience. It wasn’t cheap, but it was incredible food. The waiter Art from Wisconsin made our night in conjunction with the Snowcat driver (Z man? -retired military 1st year cat driver) and the attendant in the “sleigh.” The food was equivalent to a 4/5 star metropolitan restaurant like Chicago or NYC. There is nothing else that compares to this experience. We’ve done everything from private dining at NorthStar, deer valley Swiss night, yurt dining in telluride, alpine vino in telluride. Beno’s exceeded all that. Especially the waiter to guest ratio. I can’t express how gracious of a host Art was and his sous waiter.
Great overall dining experience. The snow cat ride up and back was great. They kept us warm and dry. The food and wine was amazing. Definitely will be back again as soon as possible.
Outstanding!!!!! Great Place for Families!
Our trip to Beanos was a once in a lifetime dining experience. It just happened to be an evening when the snow was falling on us in our open sleigh.
