Beacon Hill Bistro
Very good food and attentive kind service - good ambience
I've never had a negative experience at Beacon Hill Bistro and will happily recommend it.
We really enjoyed everything! Beautiful space and good food. Service was on point. We gave it 4 stars because everything met our expectations, but there wasn't anything exceptional about the overall experience.
Service was very good, food excellent and ambiance was quiet! We will go back.
Great food. A step up from the usual neighborhood place. Great and varied menu. Never disappoints.
The Beacon Hill Bistro is a great neighborhood restaurant. Convenient, great food and service, nice ambiance.
We were there for brunch with my family. Very attentive and adapted to our preferences for each dish. Would go again for brunch or dinner.
Great food and great service. Best chicken and waffles in the northeast.
Good but not a great brunch
Didn't care for the menu, or what we ordered. After years of being regulars at BHB, we won't be back. Too bad to have lost this neighborhood go-to.
Girls weekend brunch!
Good room, pleasant greeting, but from there the food disappoints.
Flatbread is burnt, tomato sauce uninspired; pasta is overcooked; and the pricing s too high for what it is. Menu needs a rethink.
We went for brunch on Saturday. The waitress, Lily, was great. Food was amazing. I had the quinoa bowl, which was delicious and interesting. My husband had the breakfast burrito, and he absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend!
Brunch at BHB was terrific this morning. The star of the meal was my husband’s quinoa bowl—a perfect combination of earthy grains, perfectly cooked eggs, slight spice from Sriracha and a nice mix of veggies/greens. I had the spinach and smoked salmon Benny, which was very good, but I wish I went with something more original since the flavors popped with the quinoa dish. Our server was a bit stiff, which stood out from the otherwise warm and welcoming experience, but overall, it will be a new brunch go-to for us.
This is a wonderful restaurant/bistro in the heart of Beacon Hill. We had brunch there on June 2. There were five of us and the only thing missing was a round table, else it was perfect. Food and service was excellent. A really nice place to dine.
I've dined here a few times but only at lunch. The ambience is very nice. It is an entire glass wall for viewing the action on Charles St. The service is fine. The menu is good. We were very pleased with everything except the Fetoush salad, which wasn't good. The deviled eggs, crispy cauliflower, burger, turkey sandwich and posole were very tasty.
Service was patient but responsive when we were ready to order. Friendly and personable. Food was delicious. Noise level was very ENERGETIC, to use your ranking.
Excellent brunch. Fresh food, nicely prepared. Friendly staff. Consistently good!
Wonderful pre-ballet dinner. Sophisticated, sleek and chic, The bright orange dinnerware set the tone for a trendy, tasteful, fine meal. The food was delicious and artfully presented. It was quiet enough to be able to talk yet the background din made for a sense of social spirit. Superb service with timely interventions. Try the haddock w clams. Do go!
A lively setting, a lovely window table, & a staff accommodating to allergies & requests facilitated a worthwhile evening for a lovely family celebration. Very many thanks & we would return.
Love this restaurant. It's perfect for a ladies lunch or a romantic brunch. I have not had dinner here but am sure that it would not disappoint. Highly recommended.
The host staff seated my party over thirty minutes later than our reservation time. The server did not take our order for another thirty minutes after being seated. The server checked on us infrequently, and she forgot to follow through on a few requests.
EXCELLENT neighborhood bistro! Always can count on everything being just right!
Room and location as well as staff are all very good. Food was fine but not up to the modern standard of fine dining. Try No.9 Park if you want a Boston traditional style restaurant with a view and better food.
Cute bistro with some seriously good food!
Welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable service. Well prepared and served dining options. Highly Recommend the Roast Pork Dip , the Beacon Hill Double and Roasted Cauliflower Steak depending on dining predilection. Cozy, comfortable ambiance with a nice though small bar area. My second visit and will definitely return again.
Table at window was drafty, otherwise ambiance was lovely.
Went for Easter brunch. Food was outstanding ( omelets, eggs, home fires, berries, salad ) Considering it was Easter Sunday, service was very good....reasonably prompt and attentive; table was ready on time and hostess was very gracious . We do plan on returning
BHB is a gem of a restaurant! Food is done right! Drinks are on point! And the service is attentive and friendly! Plus, you get free chocolate truffles! Book it.. enjoy it!!!
First time here. The brunch was reasonably priced and the food was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and suggested some great alternatives when our selection turned out to be unavailable. We will definitely be back!
Awful drinks. Food was bland. I would not go back.
The service and ambience were great. The service was fast and the food very good. I can certainly recommend this restaurant.
Perfect. Great food and service. Setting was ideal for purpose.
Great venue! Good food,
Will certainly go there again
No matter the meal/time/hunger level/you name it. The Bistro is a absolute go to. Will it blow your mind culinary wise, no but, it is tasty and consistent and the service is spot on. Drinks are heavy and portions are perfect. I would strongly suggest 3 or 4 ghostpepper cocktails, they are very very good. Nevertheless, easy convenient spot in beacon hill with consistent tasty well presented food.
The go-to place in Beacon Hill. The food and service are always awesome.
The Beacon Hill Bistro has it all: great food, service and ambiance. I have not had one mediocre experience at this place. Do not hesitate and just go. You will not be disappointed.
We had a celebratory work dinner with several people who had never been to Boston. The location, ambiance and overall experience was excellent. The manager working was so genuine and the team loved it. Would recommend for a work dinner, romantic dinner and family too. Loved it!
