BeachHouse bar + grill Ratings and Reviews
The BeachHouse Bar & Grill has one of the best lake views around! Most tables have a great view and the Bar area is great! Good drinks list and the food is great too. All together this is a great place in Kirkland to go to. I had the Seafood Cob Salad, which was very good.
We felt like we were rushed out of the restaurant as soon possible. Entrees was served when we didn't get a chance to finish our appetizer. Server offered to take snack plates out of my husband while he was still trying to finish appetizer. Food was alright but costly!
This was our 2nd times to eat in this restaurant on the valentine day. The restaurant has excellent views, especially night lights on. But the food just mediocre. The service was so so too. I had to let the waitress know we are ready for order after about 10 minutes waited and she passed by my table twice.
I’ve been dining here for years but have noticed a rapid decline in service and food quality in the last few months. The service last night was horrible!!! I had to find the manager to find out what happened to my order because my server never came around. Once my food arrived it was cold and my side salad was wilted. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. I used to love this place but I will never come back.
The ambiance was lovely but our breakfast was cold and lacking much flavor. There were three tables in the restaurant immediately after opening. Our server was attentive but appeared to be distracted by the opening of the restaurant tasks. Our breakfast was at best lukewarm and our potatoes tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. I don’t believe our situation was typical as the reviews for the restaurant were good. We just had a food experience that will lead us not to return again.
Aside from super limited parking in front and street busier on a rainy night, it was a nice experience. Host staff was friendly and quick to get us seated to a nice water view table. Waitress was responsive, knowledgeable about the menu, and great at follow-up. Pleasantly surprised at the reasonably priced menu. Definitely coming back.
Would not recommend. Went for brunch with family to celebrate birthdays. The French toast was cold and the replacement plate was barely lukewarm. The bacon was soft and mostly chewy gristle. The coffee was weak and my mug was regularly empty. There is little sound deadening, we could barely hear each other.
I arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation, but the greeter was very accommodating and seated me so I could have coffee while I waited for my friend. Our server, Mary, was excellent - friendly, responsive, anticipated our requests. Food was enjoyable - light batter on the fish (fish n' chips); tasty teriyaki chicken salad. Only drawback is how noisy the restaurant is during Sunday brunch.
The fish taco was the best I have ever had. I will definitely go back for another. My husband's fish and chips was nothing special. The biggest challenge was that the restaurant was freezing. Every diner was wearing their coat and an open door would let in an arctic freeze. We sat in the bar before dinner and it was cold and so was the restaurant during the meal. In addition when we were in the bar for happy hour and my husband ordered a cab...the server brought one that was not covered under happy hour...when ordering his second glass he asked about happy hour and was told that it was a "different" cab...I think he should have been asked if he wanted the happy hour wine.
On the positive side the brunch menu has interesting choices along side the traditional brunch entrees. However of the 4 orders two arrived cold as if they had been sitting for quite some time. We sent one back to be reheated but when they brought back the dish it was a totally different entree. When the correct dish arrived it had been over cooked. The noise level was loud due to a large table of teens laughing and squealing. All in all not the best experience
During the holiday season we were grateful the restaurant was open, able to accommodate our group of four at a table with a view, and serving a brunch menu at reasonable prices. It was an anniversary of sorts because two of us had met for the first time at the same location 7 years ago. We both remembered watching paddleboarders on the lake on that summer day.
Service was slow and poor (never cleared any dishes from appetizer on, didn't ask if we wanted dessert, brought an appetizer without the adjusted request so I re-ordered the appetizer and I was charged for BOTH appetizers after they made the mistake!)...french fries are store bought frozen, mediocre food, nice view, crowded and old. bathroom tiny, could barely move around. won't be returning.
Some of the best salads around but dinner choices are a disappointment. The Paella seemed to suffer from the ingredients being thrown together too early, depriving them of any individual texture or taste and resulting in a mushy concoction that was uninspired.
We had a great experience at BeachHouse Grill on Friday night! Always a great view and excellent food, but sometimes the service can be uneven. Not this time. Our waiter Ryan was the BEST server we've have in several visits! He was busy but attentive. He kept checking back. We will ask to be at one of his tables next time.
