The weather was absolutely beautiful and we were looking for a water side location for an early Sunday dinner. We based our selection of the Beach House on its location and reviews. It was a very busy Sunday afternoon and we had a 5 pm reservation. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks and clams an an appetizer. We asked the waitress if one serving would be sufficient for the four of us and she replied yes. In truth, we should have ordered two orders at least. Also only one seafood fork was included although we had made it clear we were sharing. Dinner came quickly and was what we expected although my son had asked for no onions or tomatoes on his hamburger, it had both. Not a real problem - he removed them.
Love the place Great food and views. Wish they had a steak on the menu.
My wife's salmon was dwarfed by the cedar plank used and there was not much there for the price of the entree.
One of my favorite places! I love the variety of food. I've always had a great meal here, and the menu changes frequent enough that you have the chance to try different meals. Would highly recommend!!
Everything is delicious! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is the best! It’s romantic and fun! Beautiful inside with a great view of the lake. Highly recommend
I had the Fish and Chips which were ok....There was way too much breading and not enough fish. My friend had the Seafood Cobb which she said was very good.
I went there yesterday the 6th of March 2018 with a colleague. We were sat by Kara who at first thought was a bit overwhelmed but nice. Then once she took our order, she seemed to be truly put out that we were taking so long to order after what I requested was no longer on the menu (pulled-pork sandwich w/ sweet potato fries). Instead, I ordered the hamburger, no mayo with sweet potato fries and what I received was a cold burger with wilted lettuce, mayo and regular fries. To top it off Kara never came back to the table to check on us to see how thing were. I had to ask another server for the manager (Emilo) who also took a minute to come over and see what was wrong.
I told him, returned my order and stated I didn't want it remade as I was at that point disgusted with the place. My friend ordered a salad half plated and the other to go which was fine without any issue. I then watched Kara walk past our table 4 more times before finally stopping to ask my colleague if she could cash out her bill and then said oh and Emilo said you were all taken care of and no charge for the meal.
I have gone here many times in the past and due to yesterdays experience I have no plans to go back any time soon. If I ever do go back I will make a point to ask not to be placed in Kara's section.
Sad event and truly disappointed in the level of disrespect from Kara.
I have been going to the Beachhoue for years. This last visit, the food was off. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I expected. The good thing is, Kirkland has a lot of other good options.
The food and location were fantastic as always. Our waiter took our order and didn’t come back for an extended period of time. Our glasses were empty and our food was gone before he came back.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food!
The BeachHouse Bar & Grill has one of the best lake views around! Most tables have a great view and the Bar area is great! Good drinks list and the food is great too. All together this is a great place in Kirkland to go to. I had the Seafood Cob Salad, which was very good.
We felt like we were rushed out of the restaurant as soon possible. Entrees was served when we didn't get a chance to finish our appetizer. Server offered to take snack plates out of my husband while he was still trying to finish appetizer. Food was alright but costly!
This was our 2nd times to eat in this restaurant on the valentine day. The restaurant has excellent views, especially night lights on. But the food just mediocre. The service was so so too. I had to let the waitress know we are ready for order after about 10 minutes waited and she passed by my table twice.
Great selection on the menu, and a really nice venue. I want to go back already. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional.
Excellent customer service, food came out extremely quickly and was absolutely delicious, amazing view. A little loud as the restaurant was packed full and there were many tables with children, but will definitely be back!
I had a sinus infection
Although this restaurant is not mobility device accessible, we had a great time! Friendly staff and very yummy food!
Great location, great food. And they reserved a booth for me as requested, which was perfect for my business meeting.
I’ve been dining here for years but have noticed a rapid decline in service and food quality in the last few months. The service last night was horrible!!! I had to find the manager to find out what happened to my order because my server never came around. Once my food arrived it was cold and my side salad was wilted. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. I used to love this place but I will never come back.
The ambiance was lovely but our breakfast was cold and lacking much flavor. There were three tables in the restaurant immediately after opening. Our server was attentive but appeared to be distracted by the opening of the restaurant tasks. Our breakfast was at best lukewarm and our potatoes tasted like yesterday’s leftovers. I don’t believe our situation was typical as the reviews for the restaurant were good. We just had a food experience that will lead us not to return again.
Aside from super limited parking in front and street busier on a rainy night, it was a nice experience. Host staff was friendly and quick to get us seated to a nice water view table. Waitress was responsive, knowledgeable about the menu, and great at follow-up. Pleasantly surprised at the reasonably priced menu. Definitely coming back.
The food was great and wonderful ambience with view of lake washington.
Great food and friendly service.
Parking is a problem. There wa a large, noisy group dining and it was much more pleasant when they left. Food, service and view great.
Would not recommend. Went for brunch with family to celebrate birthdays. The French toast was cold and the replacement plate was barely lukewarm. The bacon was soft and mostly chewy gristle. The coffee was weak and my mug was regularly empty. There is little sound deadening, we could barely hear each other.
I arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation, but the greeter was very accommodating and seated me so I could have coffee while I waited for my friend. Our server, Mary, was excellent - friendly, responsive, anticipated our requests. Food was enjoyable - light batter on the fish (fish n' chips); tasty teriyaki chicken salad. Only drawback is how noisy the restaurant is during Sunday brunch.
Server was awesome. Food was great. We’ll be back.
Server was excellent.
very great food, very great service, incredible value..................
Humus was totally dry on top, like it had been sat waiting for us for a long time.
Great location with a great view of Lake Washington! Food is always amazing and great service.
The fish taco was the best I have ever had. I will definitely go back for another. My husband's fish and chips was nothing special. The biggest challenge was that the restaurant was freezing. Every diner was wearing their coat and an open door would let in an arctic freeze. We sat in the bar before dinner and it was cold and so was the restaurant during the meal. In addition when we were in the bar for happy hour and my husband ordered a cab...the server brought one that was not covered under happy hour...when ordering his second glass he asked about happy hour and was told that it was a "different" cab...I think he should have been asked if he wanted the happy hour wine.
On the positive side the brunch menu has interesting choices along side the traditional brunch entrees. However of the 4 orders two arrived cold as if they had been sitting for quite some time. We sent one back to be reheated but when they brought back the dish it was a totally different entree. When the correct dish arrived it had been over cooked. The noise level was loud due to a large table of teens laughing and squealing. All in all not the best experience
During the holiday season we were grateful the restaurant was open, able to accommodate our group of four at a table with a view, and serving a brunch menu at reasonable prices. It was an anniversary of sorts because two of us had met for the first time at the same location 7 years ago. We both remembered watching paddleboarders on the lake on that summer day.
The server was Outstanding! Very attentive, friendly and hard working. Not easy to do when you’re tired and it’s Christmas eve morning. Beach House Bar and Grill, my favorite restaurant for the view, the food and the service. Try it! You’ll like it!
Beautiful view. Good brunch. Bloody Mary was not spicy enough but the crab Benedict was good
We have been to Beach House many times & are never disappointed. Great place, great food, great ambiance.
Service was slow and poor (never cleared any dishes from appetizer on, didn't ask if we wanted dessert, brought an appetizer without the adjusted request so I re-ordered the appetizer and I was charged for BOTH appetizers after they made the mistake!)...french fries are store bought frozen, mediocre food, nice view, crowded and old. bathroom tiny, could barely move around. won't be returning.
Some of the best salads around but dinner choices are a disappointment. The Paella seemed to suffer from the ingredients being thrown together too early, depriving them of any individual texture or taste and resulting in a mushy concoction that was uninspired.
Great view and location with average quality food
