Beach Tavern - Channel Club Marina
Great food . . . . can't wait until the weather breaks for some outside dining
We loved the entire experience - food wax well prepared from creative spin on classics and delicious seafood classics like Fish n Chips and spaghetti with white clams sauce. Dessert was amazing. Wine by the glass was expensive for the size of the pour.
We will definitely return when we are back in the area.
bright beachy space, open and airy. tons to chose from on the menu. Food for everyone
Always a great meal!
We’ve been here a few times and it’s a great lunch or dinner place. The appetizer crab cake and the buffalo octopus are amazing. Chef debut a new appetizer on Valentine’s Day that was oysters with caviar and it was mind blowing! Filet is pretty good for non-seafood people. Fish plates and Desserts have never disappointed. There are a few good gluten free items. Nice views of the water.
***All of our other visits have been 5 star, I gave 4 stars as I the Valentine’s Day dinner service could have been better. I was told on the phone there would be a valentines menu and it was the same as any other night. Then we were without a view when 2 tables with a view were open next to us and our candle was out. We drove 50 minutes to dine here and I was expecting something a little bit more special.
Food was great , service was
The bruschetta appetizer, tuna Niçoise salad and the sea bass entree were delicious, but the Mac and cheese and lobster risotto were a bit disappointing. The peach tavern cocktail was also delicious.
I love Beach Tavern
Beach Tavern never disappoints. Food and service always a notch above what the casual, fun atmosphere suggests. The seafood stands out on the menu, with some of the best New England clam chowder outside of Boston. Large, well-stocked bar is typically tended by pros, and there are usually inventive drinks on the cocktail menu. The half-price lunch menu on winter weekends is the bargain of the century.
Mussels were great. I would have the scallops with black truffles again. My wife's salmon was cooked perfectly. Presentation and portion size was very good. Save room for the pistachio cake. Excellent.
We love the food and service at Beach Tavern. The noise level is a bit much. Service is usually good
Well managed. Bartenders very astute and accommodating.
Always an amazing time & meal at Beach Tavern. Love eating on the dock but winter time is just as good eating inside.
Great food rather pricey; great service. Loud! But a favorite.
Beautiful setting. A bit noisy, came to hear live music and it was difficult to hear because of all the noise at the bar. But otherwise it was lovely and our service was great.
Good value on $22 lobster nite but sides and appetizers are pricey as are drinks.
Always great food, service and atmosphere!
Beach Tavern has potential but hasn’t found it yet. Staff is rude and good is just ok. Nothing they offer is worth the prices they charge. We wish we had made another restaurant choice.
News Years Eve can be challenging but not for Beach Tavern.
We arrived and show to are table promptly.
Oliver and team did a great job taking drink and food orders.
The special that evening was Dover Sole which was cooked properly and tasted above expectation.
Enjoy your visit
Kenny the manager was great Oliver our waiter was wonderful so attentive we had our daughters birthday dinner and it was great
Waitress incredibly rude to me and my cousin.
Amazing dinner, ambiance and service!!!!
Always great. From our table to the server was the best. We had Sea Bass and Scallops as main dishes for the appetizer we had the cauliflower and octopus. Just wish you would have Gluten free bread and more Gluten free dessert.
Not necessarily. They have changed the menu, and deleted some of my favorite selections. The food is good but not excellent, and certainly not worth the inflated prices.
Nice views, beachy decor, and well executed fish and seafood dishes. Our waitress was very nice but but distracted forgetting one of our orders. All in all, worth the trip though and we will return.
Outstanding but a bit pricey. This needs to be a special occasion.
Service was great and the food delicious!
Pleasant...food and service was above average
Always a pleasure dining here. This time started with the onion dip and than on to the Tuna Burger on Gluten free bun. For dessert I had the Chocolate pudding however I did miss the flourless chocolate cake. But there is always a lot to choose from as far as gluten free goes. Never had a bad experience.
Service and table location always Great.
Amazing views and beautiful decor and restaurant. Service excellent! Food quality average prices too high. Not a great value.
Everything was great
We had a nice dinner. Beets and cauliflower as appetizers- both very good . Wife had rigatoni w Bologna’s - very rich and delicious. I had the fluke it was outstanding. Go and enjoy.
I have had some really good food most of the time and once or twice my food was acceptable. The service is great and so is the ambiance, especially to sit outside and look at the water is superb!!!
Food was very good. Server was courteous and knowledgeable.
Would recommend to frirnds
My husband and I both had excellent meals at the Beach Tavern Saturday night. We will definitely be returning.
Enjoyed lunch beautiful location on the marina and very clean, modern ambiance but service was very slow. And, they forgot my simple no mayo request so on top of initial wait had to wait quite awhile for a redo of my sandwich. If you want to hangout it's great but if you have other places to go......
Nice little pricey but beautiful atmosphere outside
Food was every bit deserving of a 5 star review. Location is amazing. I couldn't give a perfect score solely because of service. Our waiter was quite oblivious, but I can't stress enough how great the food was.
My wife and I both had their 1.5 lb lobster special
Both were less than a lb. soaking wet and they were
Meat was soggy probably the lousiest lobster I ever had
In my 68 years. I don’t mind a small lobster but I insist
In it being fresh.
