Amazing atmosphere, the best food and wonderful staff!
Good food , friendly service.
Our server was so nice!!! Great night out with friends!!! She told us to come back in the summer🌴☀️. Had to wait for our table but hostess was so sweet and got us drinks from bar while we waited which was great way to start our night!!! Will definitely be back!!
Great as usual! Amazing food and drinks with top notch service. Always an enjoyable experience.
The view and the food is always great. Nicole was our server and she was fantastic. Attentive, knowledgeable and on point. Great service always makes the night more special. Highly recommend Beach Tavern and Nicole.
Had a wonderful lunch. The drinks, food, service, and ambiance were great! Love the Beach Tavern!
Loved everything about it. Exceptional Brussels sprouts
We felt very safe as our table in the bar was away from other tables . The food was excellent! Can’t wait to go back soon!
I was disappointed that the GF items were limited. They always had so many choices and tonight they had pasta and salad that was it.
So much fun at Beach Tavern even during the winter and a pandemic. Great food! Great service! Awesome place!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful Valentine's day dinner! The service, drinks, and food were amazing! Will definitely back very soon.
We visited Beach Tavern for the first time on Valentine's Day and we cannot wait to come back in the Spring/Summer! The atmosphere is great (thinks Hamptons chic) and the service was top notch (my glass of wine was NEVER empty)! As for the food, the mussels in white wine sauce did not disappoint and the clam chowder was delicious (note-the servings here were pretty large-enough for 2 to share!). We also had the halibut special and the steak special (topped with crab meat!) For dessert, we had the pecan pudding with vanilla ice cream.
Good food great atmosphere
Simply a great time. Pricey, but who is'nt. Really enjoyed it. Service is outstanding. Drinks outstanding.
Food was good, roasted Brussel Sprouts best ever. Wait staff was excellent.
I would definitely recommend the Beach Tavern to any couple or any family.
Had a lovely Valentine’s Day brunch with my husband and 3 sons. Our server was excellent! The view was awesome. The food was fresh & delicious.
Kudos to the team. We had a wonderful Valentine's day dinner. Here are only a few reasons for the 5 stars (I'd give more if I could):
#1 - We were over 20 minutes late due to the icy weather and they still accommodated us - This is greatly appreciated, especially during a traditionally heightened time.
#2 - The food was absolutely delicious - We had fish and steak and all were cooked perfect and tasted very fresh
#3 - Our waitress (I think, Nicole?) was top notch. She was very pleasant and a breath of fresh air to speak to. She was very attentive and provided us with honest suggestions.
#4 - The drinks were very good too!
We don't normally say this after a restaurant, especially during the V-day holiday but we are definitely going back for more!
A little expensive but the food, drinks and service was great!
The food here is generally excellent, but for a seafood place there should be more seafood dishes. They seem to focus on raw seafood selections (like super-expensive shellfish "Towers"), but there are only like 3 or 4 hot seafood selections, if that. Customers here expect a main course to be in the $30-$40 range, but I ordered a pork milanese parmigiana style that was very good, but it didn't come with any side dish, like a bitter green or anything. Ordering oysters outside of happy hour there is a mistake. They are $1 a piece during their fantastic daily happy hour. But during regular service they are at least $4 a piece. So a dozen local NJ oysters were $48! There's not much value for your money there. I could see if they were imported from Washington State or Japan, but seriously? It felt a bit extreme. As a resident of NYC for 25 years, if you're going to charge NYC prices, then you better at least offer some value for the big ticket. Full service here comes off as pretentious, a-la-carte, virtue signaling. Stop it! Nevertheless, I highly recommend their daily happy hour. Their real caesar salad (I get it with extra fresh anchovies on the side) is amazing, as are their aforementioned $1 oysters. So unless you don't care about value for money, I wouldn't go there for full-service dinner. Instead, sit at the bar or a bar table for happy hour and be happy.
Everything was very good...food, service, ambiance. My only call out is that the beer selection was not extensive. I was surprised that they did not have a great offering of craft beers.
The food was delicious.
The drinks were excellent.
Service was fantastic.
We ordered the pecan tart for dessert and we were expecting something more like a pecan pie. Instead we got a tart crust filled with candied pecans. It was good, but a little dry.
Unfortunately it's NY prices at the Jersey Shore.
I'm going to say I would recommend it but with the warning that your wallet will take a hit.
Went here for my birthday lunch in February. We arrived at 2:30 pm on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was mostly empty and Covid precautions were observed by the restaurant. The French onion soup was delicious. The broth was dark and full of flavor from the carmelized bones in the stock. There were plenty of onions and it was generously topped with melted Gruyere cheese. Three of us each had the lobster salad sandwich. It was a little pricey at $28 but it contained a good amount of lobster chunks in the preparation. Service was attentive. Will return.
Service was great and food was OK maybe it’s what I ordered
Great food, ambiance and service! I would highly recommend as I have been there often.
Always an amazing dining experience!
Great view nice ambiance good food
Food was great !
Went with 2 friends and we had fun sampling lots of apps, a salad, and a pizza and lobster roll. Tons of food options to choose from and we LOVED the drink menu. We all went with something we wouldn't normally order and thoroughly enjoyed!
Absolutely love the beach tavern. The food, ambiance, staff, and experiences.
I am sorry, I hate leaving bad reviews, but, I was so disappointed. I ordered Mushroom lasagna, it was dried out, doughy, and flavorless. My husband and companion had Lobster frites. was only okay and lukewarm. Profiteroles tasted as if they were defrosted. Our server seemed rushed, and needed extra help.
The food was great but at $350.00 for lunch for 4.. a bit pricy .. The service was fine but nothing special.
Always great fresh food
Nice decor. Great food. A little loud because a football game was playing.
Great food and staff! Gorgeous setting!
Waited a few minutes for the table but that’s ok. Mushroom Pizza spectacular. Nice Big piece of salmon. Tina burger was not good. Service was nice and good
A great night, as expected, at beach tavern. The food and service were phenomenal, as always. Started with the steak tartare and special app tuna tataki. Entrees were the homemade pasta with spicy vodka sauce and the ahi tuna salad with sweet cider vinaigrette. Dessert was a NY cheesecake and pistachio gelato. Enjoyed some seasonal cocktails as well. Can’t wait to go back!
Meal and service was incredible! Been going for years and always recommend to friends!
Beach House is always consistent in all definitions of the restaurant business. They do it all right, and after many visits, I will continue to patronize.
