Beach Tavern - Channel Club Marina
Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Everything was great. Even had a beautiful sunset over the marina.
Great as always. Service was a little spotty for 5:30 but, hey, it happens.
Good food, rushed service, very loud inside.
Beach tavern continues to impress.
The Tavern is open and vibrant. It welcomes each guest and meets your needs.
Menu is complete and for summer perfect place to dine.
Staff are tremendous and exceed expectation
I was looking for a place on the water to go eat for my birthday. There were ocean views from every part of the restaurant. We went at the perfect time for sunset so it was beautiful ! Our waiter was great! Drinks were delish and food was yummy!
Too noisy for conversation. Out of specials at 7:00pm. Unable to accommodate a salad substitution for french fries. Forgot drink order. Food, when it came, was good. I have been here many times but this was the second poor experience in a row. Very disappointing. Overall not too good.
On a nice night Beach tavern is fabulous. The drinks were great the food selection is wonderful. It’s the perfect place to come on a Saturday night. We sat out on the dock. The restaurant itself is very loud but outside is beautiful
Waited over 30 minutes to be seated after our reservation
Appreciate this restaurant for sitting nicely in our MB neighborhood. The food is almost always consistently good & fresh, and the drinks are always delivered quickly. Our last trip involved a waiter volunteering his political views with our table, out of the blue, and without context. I stated that I didn't want to discuss politics and he continued anyway. Makes me nuts and turned our dinner mood upside-down. Very disappointing considering the night was beautiful and the crowd was fun. Just wish he acted more professional. Overall, we still love Beach Tavern.
This was our first time at the Beach Tavern. We had a reservation but we still waited 30 minutes for our table. The restaurant was VERY busy. The two women at the front desk were doing their best to stay on top of the numerous people arriving and waiting. At one point a waiter came to the front and yelled at them about a group they sat at one of his tables. He was very nasty and this was inappropriate in front of customers. Once we sat we ordered a White Russian and a glass of wine. The drink clearly had spoiled milk in it. They were out of the lobster special so we ordered two other fish entrees. Both were fine but there was a long wait. Our waitress apologized and offered a free dessert but we declined. She was friendly and did her best but the kitchen was clearly backed up. This place is beyond LOUD, so if you want to talk at a table, this is not the place for you.
The food and wait service was amazing. The front desk was not so friendly.
Service n food takes forever.
Our table ordered four entrees - 3 were delivered to the table, and the fourth was nowhere in sight...neither was our server. It took a very long time for either to show up. The food was okay, the service was terrible. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful ambiance for outdoor dining, but reservations not accepted for the outdoor deck. We arrived at 6pm and there wasn't a wait. Great place to watch the sun set during dinner.
Excellent ambiance if you wait for an outside table. No reservations outside.
Noise level inside is unbearably loud.
Menu limited and few specials. OK food.
Beach Tavern was a huge disappointment. I made an Open Table reservation for 7:30 PM and we got there 5 minutes early. On the path to the front door, a sign told us to see the outdoor hostess if we wanted outdoor seating. I told the outdoor hostess that we had a 7:30 reservation but she didn’t write anything down. My wife and I saw 4 empty tables for two but we were not seated. After a while, just standing around, I asked the hostess why we were not seated at the empty tables. She said they were short one server, so I asked if she would seat us and give us slower service. She said no. At that point another female in a black dress showed up. I asked why the time was past our reservation time and she said Open Table reservations didn’t apply to the outdoor area. I said why didn’t your webpage say that, your webpage had lots of information except the important customer information. The lady in black said: “We’ll have to fix that. My wife and I left, it was a bad experience at the Beach Tavern.
To add insult to injury, Beach Tavern reported to Open Table that we were a “no-show”.
Extremely loud, food was not good - will not go back. They need to put sound control panels/baffles in, I got a headache from the noise.
Extensive varied menu. Delicious food.
The room with the bar is noisy, but the dining room is not and has a great view or you can sit outside when weather permits.
We sat outside. Was great. Drinks , food and service was outstanding. Thanks. Will dine again soon.
Excellent ! Be back next week
Sat outdoors on a beautiful night. Food was overall pretty good. Kale Caesar, clam pie, and lobster roll were all good. We definitely will return. Great drinks too!!
Beach Tavern is a find on the Jersey Shore. Comfortable, great view and good food. A little pricey, but that is to be expected. The service was outstanding.
Had a wonderful Fathers' Day, Griffin our server was very attentive, Seafood was fresh, Rose wine very good
My favorite place. Beautiful inside and out. We all had the pizza and I had the Gluten free version and it was amazing. The service was a little slow however the brought us a complementary snack and the service was good. Table was outside and a great view of the setting sun. Always pleases.
Nice for drinks and dinner outside on the pier.
Good bar food - but very pricey for what you get (for instance, if you want cheese on your $16 hamburger, it will cost you an additional $2). Great view and great drinks.
LOUD, like rock concert loud. Impossible to have a conversation without screaming. No parking spaces were available so we were forced to valet. Server was very nice and attentive. Clambake was tasty and enough for two people. Didn't stick around for dessert because we couldn't take the noise. Don't think we will be back anytime soon.
The restaurant was very noisy, making it difficult to carry on a conversation. We ordered mussels in wine but they were undercooked. Fish and chips best I've had so far. Felt somewhat rushed.
Gave Beach Tavern two chances. Went back reluctantly because I WANTED to like it. This place is run by kids and it really makes a difference in the level of service. My pet peeve is not seating a party until everyone is there. We arrived at 6:53 for a 7:00 reservation for 4 and they made us stand and wait for the other couple who arrived at 7:03. Unnecessary policy if you have a reservation. They weren't going to give away the table in those few minutes and we weren't going to beat them, so why not seat us. Saturday night at 7 and they were already out of the fish of the day. Once we ordered coffee and dessert, the waitress was done with us. Took us three people and 15 minutes to get sugar for the coffees. Food was OK but no homerun.
Great service and ambiance with gorgeous river view. Updated menu with Italian and Seafood favorites reimagined with creative flair
Very busy Saturday night with sudden rain that drove the outside tables inside. We were already at a high top overlooking the marina. The staff handled the situation beautifully. The drinks were great. Fantastic menu! The food came out without delays. Our server Tara was attentive and friendly. The executive chef Ken Mansfield even found time to stop at our table to see how we were enjoying our night. Absolutely a top flight shore restaurant
The restaurant noise level was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. Extremely crowded! Would not recommend going here if you want to have a conversation with your companion. Maybe a week night is a better option.
Love the place but made a reservation for 2 at 8:30 outside and was told that a table would take an hour and a half outside.
It was fabulous!! The only thing better than the food was the service!! My expectations were actually on the lower end as this was Mother's Day , but thankfully I was wrong. It was busy but not crazy. The oysters were to die for along with everything else! Branzino, lobster roll, fish and chips...I can't wait to go back!
First time back since the restaurant was rebuilt & the design is attractive. It was a Saturday night & the noise level was off the charts! But not much can be done about that - it's worth it for the view! Party of 3, all had apps to dessert and were pleased! Chowder & Calamari apps- all thumbs up. The cod dinner was on bland side but scallops were perfect. Desserts were worth the calories! Overall a nice pre Mother's Day dinner.
Food was good. Waitress was great. Pretty atmosphere.
Did not wait long with reservation, even though restaurant and bar was packed.
Very chaotic table near the bar where every server every guest walked by. Felt like we were in traffic. Despite that our server was terrific food very tasty
Roasted dates way way too sweet. Crab cake was the highlight.
Over priced, the quality of the food is sup-par. $22 fish and chips, 2 tiny pieces of cod, not good. $15 turkey club was the best thing we had.
