Best kept secret on the island. You won’t regret eating here.
not impressed. expected high prices from a hotel restaurant, but also expected better quality.
Not only is Grand Cayman a great place be, when you have a restaurant like the Beach House, and more importantly a server like Nicholas Fox, it becomes magical. We enjoyed the experience so much it was our "go to" spot. We put all the pressure on Nicholas for recommendations and he was perfect every time, without fail. Food was always on point and we truly did not have anything that was anything less than spectacular.
It was our 40th Wedding Anniversary and. the staff at The Beach House could not have been nicer. They made our special occasion
even more memorable. The chef prepared a 5 star meal that was
wonderful. I look forward to another enjoyable dining experience in the future.
We unfortunately saved this restaurant until our last night. It has mostly obstructed views of the beach. And while some fellow patrons also tried to dress up and elevate the ambiance, you have The Westin hotel guests straight from the beach-looking. Our waiter was excellent, as was the food, but the screaming kids at two nearby tables honestly ruined the night for us. Some people changed tables because of it. Regardless, I doubt we’ll be back if we visit the island again. Overall it just ok and we ate much better meals (with fewer screaming hotel guests) elsewhere all week.
Typical hotel restaurant. Mediocre service , average food and luck of ambiance. Plenty of more pleasant dining options on the island to choose from.
Lovely restaurant — we sat outside under an awning with gentle breezes blowing. Although we were at the edge of the patio there was no ocean view. Lots of families with small children wandering between buildings around us. The service was great. The food was a good value (smaller plates vs larger plates — go for the smaller ones and you can get a couple). Best salad on the island! With all local ingredients (except for one kind of radish that the server informed me came from Florida).
Food outstanding. Atmosphere paradise. Maitre D' Nicholas and waiter Baizad made for the perfect evening. Top of our list when we return to the Caymans.
My husband and I had an amazing meal here! I highly suggest the crab cakes appetizer and the Sea Bass entree! Great food overall.
Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy our dinner due to the amount of noise. Usually the evening restaurants we have experienced in our travels are quiet and relaxing. This felt like we were in a bar. In my opinion, the large group of ten should not have been on the rather small patio which allowed for only six more tables. Several tables left or moved. As we had already ordered and felt sure th er y couldn't possibly get louder we stuck it out through our entree, without talking cause we couldn't hear each other. We took our wine and found a place far away to let this headache subside. Restaurant should have seated them elsewhere or ask them to tone it down.
We did the Toes in the Sand experience with the Chef’s tasting menu and it did not disappoint!! Everything was absolutely flawless making for a perfect experience all around!
As usual we had an excellent meal. Thank you. The Margarellas
The food is terrific! Very creative chef. Much nicer than I expected in a resort setting.
Not worth the money. Much better near by for the same price point.
The ambiance was lovely with a perfect view of the setting sun. Jean-Pierre made outstanding recommendations especially the ‘experience appetizer’ of the seared sea scallops- beautiful and so flavourful! The wine recipe recommendations was also superb! We’ll be back!
Great food and service was terrific.
A really great dinner the food was fabulous
Our waiter however behaved like he couldn’t give a damn
He needs to find s different job
Authentic fine dining. Great fish with interesting sauces.
Wonderful service. Great food. On the higher price side but worth it.
Food was excellent and service was awesome. Couldn’t have asked for a better Valentine’s Day dinner.
Not really worth the effort. Crab cake was excellent! But rest of meal was ho hum - and pricey for what you received.
Great food, beautiful outdoor seating, would definitely go back again!
Absolutely hands down one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Food, drink and wait staff were fabulous! I had the snapper and my husband had the lamb. Best fish I have ever had in my life. Would give it 10 stars if I could!
loved the food, ambience. Everything we ordered was of excellent quality
Had tasting menu while good food there was way to much for a tasting. Basically gave us five full courses. Server was a bit bossy, not rude just bosses .
We ate our first dinner on Grand Cayman at The Beach House and were so impressed that we decided we had to return for our last night on the island. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. Nicholas, the maitre de served us again and finished off our evening with a “Bon Voyage” dessert. Who does that? The Beach House does that! The chef’s creations are nothing short of amazing and the service, impeccable.
Delicious food, fabulous waiter - Nicholas. And the sunset view was amazing!
Yes, it is in a hotel, but it is one of the 3 or 4 best restaurants on the island. It is much more refined and selective than some of the long-time standard fine dining choices. Not knocking the others, but for a unique approach the Beach House is number one. Had seafood every night for 10 days and the yellow-fin tuna at Beach House was easily the best. Service is superb. Baizad has taken care of us for several years and he is excellent.
Nice spot and food was very good
Food was perfect. Location amazing, and the service is superb.
The scallop appetizer was amazing. The octopus app had beautiful presentation and was good. The s’mores dessert had good presentation but lacked flavor. (I don’t recommend it)
Absolutely worth every penny I paid. From scenic accommodation ,through professional services and really tasteful and researched gourmet
Casually elegant, attentive and thoughtful service, excellent kitchen. By far our favorite on the island for a superior dining experience!
The best food on the island! Our experience was wonderful right from the beginning. Truly, one of the best meals I have ever had.
Dined here on a Saturday night right before Christmas. THE GOOD: the service, the setting, the jumbo lump crab cake, the butter poached lobster and shrimp, and their surf THE MEDIOCRE: N/A; THE BAD: N/A
The Chilean sea bass was the best I have ever had. Melts in your mouth, no place can compare and I have ate at some very high end seafood places. For appetizers I highly recommend crab cakes there is no bread just pure crab meat. Also the octopus is prepared perfectly. My boyfriend never liked octopus but the way it is prepared at this restaurant is surely not going to disappoint. Do not get the cheesecake, it had a nasty sour taste we did tell the server that but he did not comp that plate which I did not think was right.
We ate here twice during our vacation, both times the food, drink and service was great! Highly recommend!
Absolutely superb service and an exquisite meal. Our waiter was Baizad, and he made our special occasion even more special. Restaurant has a very romantic atmosphere.
