Enjoyable evening !! We were able to talk to our friends without shouting, and the food and ambiance were agreeable.
Was a beautiful evening on my last visit and was able to enjoy the patio. The music was really nice. They were busy but able to keep up with the volume. Food was good, met up with friends and was an overall great evening.
We went to Beach Club Grill for our Friday Night Date night as we enjoy their Uncommon Fish Fry and it is local. This visit did not disappoint and my wife enjoyed the Uncommon Fish Fry and I tried one of their specials of the day - a blackened Salmon Burger. The fish fry is lots of food so my wife had leftovers. Once I gave up trying to eat my Salmon Burger like a hamburger I enjoyed it. For us, the Beach Club Grill is a great spot for an easy date and dinner.
Disappointing outing. Told by waitress that some other operation had just purchased beach club grill and they will be making quite a few changes. Very noise even for a Friday night. Lot of food, but not all that good.
I explained to our waitress that we were vegan and had questions about whether some of the menu choices contained dairy. She asked the kitchen, and we decided on what we thought would be a vegan meal. Unfortunately, the salads still came out with cheese on them, and the sorbet still came out with whipped cream. I suggest that you train your staff on what a vegan item is. It was obvious no one understood what vegan means and we had to send multiple items back. Very frustrating. But overall we love Beach Club and will be back.
Three of our party said the scallops and fish fry were the best they've ever had.
We really enjoy going to the Beach Club Grill on Friday nights and ordering their uncommon fish fry. It is delicious and no matter how many times we go, it is consistently good. The large servings are perhaps too large, but that is better than the alternative. If you like fried fish, then there are fewer better places to go in NE OH.
Lovely place, great atmosphere, good food and great staff from manger to servers. Love it.
Chef Nicole's Fantastic food
We visited Beach Club Grill and had our worse experience to date. Going on Good Friday was a bad idea I guess as staff was overwhelmed and the service poor. As always though the Uncommon Fish Fry was delicious though so we will return.
This is a nice place; fun, but not out of control. Good service and the food and drinks were excellent.
Fun place to spend a night with friends, Band was great and Not to loud to enjoy conversation. The Beer list is very good. Our server was excellent really made our evening enjoyable. No pressure to rush our order and leave when done eating. She encouraged us to stay and enjoy our after dinner drinks while the band played.
Great place, great food. Can't go wrong with food and drinks here. Not for kids, live music is always good, servers are attentive, make reservations. Good selection of beers.
We arrived at 6:40 for a our 6:45 reservation. The hosted didn't seem like a ver happy person, and told us it was going to be awhile. We over heard a conversation with a second hostes that said what about table such and such and the first hostes said "no thats reserved for a good customer"
We have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the service at this restaurant. Though we like to try different places, we seem to frequently end up at Beach Club Grill - just because we like the food and atmosphere so much. We especially LOVE their outdoor deck in the summer months, and their pizza all months of the year. Our friends from the Dayton area dined here with us a year or so ago, when the special was lobster mac & cheese, which Scot ordered. He STILL - to this day - raves about it, saying it was the best he's ever eaten. We highly recommend this restaurant.
We come here every couple of weeks for the food and the atmosphere. Last time, we had a pizza. It was fantastic! We'll be back soon.
Normally this is a great place for burgers and pizza and that's where it should stop. The New Year's Eve menu was expensive and was not worth the money. My wife had a strip steak covered in bad gravy and I had scallops with a awful butter sauce. The service and drinks saved the place. Poor for a $100 meal.
Just not what we were expecting- kind of weird menu, seated right next to the band so could not talk to each other. Had to wait even though we had a reservation. No Anheuser-Busch products. Server was friendly though.
We are big fans of the Uncommon Fish Fry, here and at the Beach Club Bistro. The haddock is crusted and fried to perfection and the portions are large. Our only negative comment is that they, like many others, seem to believe that fresh green beans should be hard which results in uneaten portions. Besides that the Beach Club Grill is a great stop for Friday Night Date Night and fish.
Can't get enough of their cannoli's!
