Beach Club Bistro Ratings and Reviews
As always, BCB delivers with great and innovative food, locally sourced ingredients and attentive wait staff. Greg(owner) always manages to have some new wines appropriate for the season and as always, great craft beers on tap. And if you're a bourbon drinker, not a better selection around.
We are regular patrons of the Beach Club Bistro and have always had very good meals. The drinks are outstanding, they don't skimp on the good stuff! The menu is interesting and has a nice variety. This occasion we ate in the courtyard, which is lovely and largely surrounded by greenery.
This place was recommended to us by friends, when we first went onto the patio, we didn't know if we would like it.
The service proved to be fantastic, fast, friendly and our server was really on top of things!
The food, now...here's where it's amazing. Small menu, but the quality of the food is amazing. The tastes and choices were fabulous! It was all homemade, fresh and absolutely delicious. From our appetizer all the way through to dessert...what GREAT food!!
Drinks were fantastic too! Very wonderful food!! We cannot wait to go back!
A group of three of us went for dinner on a Saturday night. The room was noisy from the get-go because a large party was seated nearby. The selection of beers and wines was very good. Everyone at our table enjoyed their dinners - I was especially impressed with the gluten-free margarita pizza which had a tasty thin crust and really fresh toppings. We will definitely return!
Wanted to avoid the chain restaurants and chose the Beach Club Bistro sight unseen. This place is a hidden gem! Local atmosphere, unique food selections and all our meals were excellent. From the build-your-own pizzas to the short rib ravioli a wonderful dining experience. Not a large place so make your reservation on Open Table to make sure you get a spot. A wide selection of Bourbon & Whiskey and the bar area is separate from the dining area so you can have a fun night out and a good family environment.
We started with drinks. The drink menu was very large which was fine for my wife and I as we know what we like and don't like but not so fine for our friends who had multiple questions for our server who could not answer them, in part due to the extensive nature of the list and in part due to obvious lack of education or caring as she kept telling us she was more of a wine-o and recommended a vodka drink to our friend who stated she doesn't drink vodka. This said, she was a great server.
The appetizer arrived and was delicious- the sautéed calamari was above and beyond our expectations and set the tone for what we expected of our entrees. I got the smokehouse special- the pulled pork was sub par and tasted somewhat freezer burnt. My wife got the sumo salad which was also delicious but the chicken which was a $4.50 add on (fair price normally) was horrendously chewy, it almost tasted like all rib meat or it was cooked, frozen and cooked again. She had to remove all of the chicken from her salad in order for it to be edible. Our friends were very pleased with their entrees. Not the quality we were expecting though of an $80 meal for the two of us.
We found this on open table because we were looking for something different and we were SOOO happy! First of all we had a fantastic waitress named Bonny, who was conscientious, efficient, friendly and wonderful! Our food was delicious (great sandwiches, fries, onion rings)and we had the bread pudding for dessert which was fantastic- probably the best that I have ever had.
We cannot wait to go back and enjoy some of the other things on the menu- we just have to make sure Bonny is there when we go next, because she made the experience extra special!
We started with the shrimp tacos for an appetizer. The large shrimp was blackened, fresh and delicious. Our entrees were the uncommon fish fry and short ribs ravioli. They both were outstanding. You will not go away hungry! Also, the service was outstanding. Very enjoyable evening.
Saturday post NYE, bar was out of several choices of beer that they would normally have. Pizza very good, they knew to put extra sauce i ordered on side so crust wouldnt get soggy. Salmon dish was good too. Server Nora was "awesome" despite being slammed. We'll go back.
They have great food and very friendly staff. They aren't constantly coming up to you checking on you but they do check on you a decent amount of time. They are great about answering questions and are just overall a great place to eat at. Prices aren't bad for the quantity of food you get. If you get a dessert, just know your portion is big enough for two!
We had a party of 7 and all of us were first time visitors. Everyone enjoyed the food and the great selection of whisky. From Pizza, Fish n Chips, Short rib pasta, Steak, Burger and Italian Wedding soup the whole spectrum of food was REALLY REALLY good. The fries here are the some of the best I've had. My wife and I are avid foodies and we have been to some of the top places in Cleveland and this place will be on our frequently visited and recommended places. Can't say enough good about the cooks, service, menu, and bar!
The food here is so good! One of our favorites is the Uncommon Fish Fry....the best ever! And, of course, their veggie pizza's are great. Gilcrest is a favorite. Don't forget to try desserts....decadent! Especially, the peanut butter pie. Restaurant is a gem in Euclid!
We hadn't been here in a while, but brought out-of-town guests for dinner on a Sunday, and had a wonderful time. The pizzas are worth the trip -- 1 12 inch and 2 9 inch pizzas were more than enough food for four people. The cocktails were great as well. Relaxing retro atmosphere, and there's a cozy back patio as well.
