The lobster roll was outstanding! So fresh and full of lobster. The roll was grilled and was not taking a backseat to the seafood.
Service was extremely slow...food was delicious..server was very apologetic
This is a great quiet restaurant in Tropicana Las Vegas. Service and food are good. The breakfast sausage are the best I've tasted. Service is personal and attentive.
I've eaten here several times as Tropicana is one of my favorite hotels. I've never been disappointed because the food, service and overall experience of this restaurant is top notch. It's no wonder they've earned top marks for excellence!
Service was friendly and positive. We sat at the bar for a bit chatting which was quiet and bar tender was very attentive. Dinner was nice, a bit pricey but strip restaurant. Food was tasty and portions on the small side for the appetizers and sandwiches.
Menu was not filled with as much seafood as I expected.
Ask for a patio table when the weather is good, which is most of the time. Nice place for a casual lunch or dinner as long as you're not in a hurry. There aren't many places you can escape the noise of Vegas, but you've got a good chance here.
Great place to eat at the Tropicana. Fast seating, excellent service, delicious food at a great price - perfect way to enjoy your afternoon!
Best brunch ever @ the Tropicana. I highly recommend getting there early because it will fill up quickly. My wife & I made a reservation @ 8:30am which worked out perfect. Plenty of things to choose from. The omelet bar is to die for! Plus they have a full bar if you wish. Just all around the perfect place to be after waking up in the morning before starting your day in Vegas.
I am a concierge at a resort hotel in Vegas. I like to try different places to eat and I suggested this place for dinner with local friends for a get together dinner. Honestly, the food was good but the wait for it took forever and the service was slow. The ambiance is nice and it was quiet. I wouldn't say this place is the best but it wasn't the worst either.
Always a pleasure to dine here every year when I stay in the Tropicana for the salsa festival in July.
My husband and I have just returned to the UK after 12 great days in Vegas and even though we weren't staying at The Tropicana we ate in the Beach Cafe 3 times because we loved it so much. We first ate there on our 2nd day after we went to The Laugh Factory. We also went there on my 50th Birthday and on our last night. The food is amazing, it's a beautiful, clean place and the service is second to none. Hubby and I were fortunate enough to meet and be looked after by the lovely Sue Ann who is one of the loveliest people we have ever met. We loved it so much and the atmosphere in the Tropicana itself that we would definitely stay there if we return to Vegas 😊
Was typical diner type food. Unexceptional
A little pricey for a buffet that is mostly just eggs.
We have been to the Beach Café many times. It always so beautiful, quiet, staff is great and the food & drinks are always yummy!! Will be back again and again :)
We went there prior to a show at the Tropicana. We sat outside. There were a lot of menu choices, but I was not knocked over in toto by this place. You can sit outside and look at the grounds and it's adjacent to the pool, but you can't hear anyone or kids playing in the pool. I just thought it should have been better.
Good Buffet and pleasant staff.
We have been to the Beach Cafe several times and as locals have recommended it ro others in the past.
We were not so impressed this time and probably will not return. It just did not have the same appeal as before. Could not pinpoint exactly, but seemed the food selections have changed and it didn't seem to be the same value as before.
First time in this place but it was very nice food was very tasty and Good value for money, Cajun pasta was delicious
Okay in a pinch. Food is decent for a late night find.
I came here often as it was one of the few restaurant's that honored the loyalty of locals with a discount. So much for that.
While the menu selection and quality is mediocre at best it has been ok compared to most Café type eateries on the strip.
The Breakfast Buffet is sparse for quality at $25.95 but consistent. The Bloody Mary is good but a bit too spicy.
Two Breakfast Buffets and two Cocktails...$89.00.
The menu virtually hasn't changed in four years = consistency.
Convenient if staying at Tropicana, a bit pricey for average food. Chairs are director style chairs am very rickety, and rock not very comfortable. Just sit gently and still.... You will be ok. The tropical setting is very nice as well as the out door seething is very nice when weather is warm.
Excellent service and great food
The omelet bar with made to order omelets was very good. They offer egg whites as well as whole eggs. The fruits was fresh with a nice variety.
This was our third trip to the beach café. We were headed to the Jimmy Buffett concert, but wanted to grab a bite to eat before hand. Wanted to avoid the crowds at the MGM and remembered how much we enjoyed the beach café in the past. We ordered appetizers and drinks. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was excellent, the price is reasonable. We will definitely go there again.
Very nice location overlooking the pool area at the Tropicana. The menu is a cafe menu with standards like soups, salads, burgers, Asian stir-fries, and some other selections. I'd recommend if you want a decent sit-down dining experience. My salad was ok, drowned in dressing. OK since I was starving, but a "meh" in terms of quality. If you want amazing food, I'd suggest looking for another venue.
Food great, service was good but long line at lunch which could have been handled much better. They had tons of empty tables -why was there a line? Possibly need more wait staff when there are conventions.
Love the buffet. Lots of choices. Food always fresh and they keep it stocked and clean.
Excellent find at the Trop... Nice atmosphere, good service, and great food at a reasonable cost (for the strip)
This is a remarkable transformation of the Tropicana. The Beach Cafe had incredible food. I ordered the breakfast taco. It coms out in all these little bowls and you make your own. Really fresh and good.
I must say I was deceived by the pictures and other reviews on the Beach Cafe. I was under the impression that it was a nice sit-down restaurant, up to par with the other restaurants in the Tropicana. Of all the restaurants in the hotel (and I visited them all), this was just really bad. Our hostess neglected to check us in (thus listing our visit as a no show in the system), and then our waitress was very rude and we didn't see her for a while. Food was.. meh. The omelet cook was the high light of the visit, he was very nice and personable and I wish I remembered his name! He was great!
Beaches Cafe was a great find and has become my favorite cafe in Las Vegas. Food is good, nice menu choices and great customer service.
Fresh, good food. Nothing extraordinary but definitely good.
I found the food to be a little expensive for what you got
We had breakfast and lunch there. They had plenty of umbrellas so the sun wasn't on you. We were seated right next to the waterfall and it overlooked the gardens, flowers & palm trees. Food was yummy. Service was fun, fast and good. Try the strawberry mojito. Yummy!
The restaurant decor is upbeat and refreshing. The staff was genial. The menu is sufficiently diverse to please a wide range of tastes. The service personnel were solicitous, however it took an inordinate length of time - approximately 30 to 45 minutes - for our yogurt parfait and smoked salmon with a side of wheat toast. Staff did not volunteer an explanation as to why our order was delayed, which would have been a courteous gesture and minimized the inconvenience. It was a disappointing experience.
The Greek salad was very delicious and my daughter loved the french fries and hamburger. The food was a little pricey for a Cafe.
Good food for reasonable prices; right in the Tropicana on the strip. Weather permitting, eating outside is extra lovely because their deck is right next to a waterfall. Although it's not "super-cheap", it's not expensive either; a rare find on the strip for a place that serves surprisingly good food for the price. Good variety as well. I highly recommend the onion rings.
They have one of the best brunches on the strip. You can choose the buffet which has a carving station and omelet station or you can order off the menu. The French toast is delicious. Very nice outdoors deck seating when the weather is nice.
I have dinned with you before on two occasions with great satisfaction. This visit was not so much and I had invited a date to enjoy the experience I was expecting. The food was just ok, nothing that couldn't have been matched elsewhere. The service was bad....I eat out multiple times a week and know what good service is. I left close to 20% tip because I can... Not because she deserved it. Won't be back... I am a local.
