Our 'go to' place as their brunch menu is nice to have with breakfast and lunch items offered. We enjoy the ambience and also never feeling rushed. The food and service are excellent especially for a restaurant with a view of the Lake.
Server Nicole is excellent and sweet

There was a good selection of options for lunch; it met expectations; the service was very good.
Service is not good and food is only fair. We walked in on a Saturday for lunch around 12:10pm, with not many patrons in the restaurant. Lots of waiters standing around and chatting, but it took a good 15m to get our orders taken and water at the table. The food is fair, but at $20 for a burger I expect better quality. Beach house grill down the road may not look as nice, but the food quality and service is dramatically better.
Stop spamming people with rubbish. How did you get my email?
The Beach Café met all of our needs and expectations! We were pleased with the service, the gluten free options, the freshness of the ingredients!
I would recommend the Beach Café to all of my friends.
P.S. The validated parking was an extra bonus
I ate here once before and had a wonderful experience but this time the food was not very good. The steak was way over done and the seafood pasta tasted funny. The server was amazing.
Service was good but food could be better for the price.
Terrible menu. Bar menu is better. Main menu is expensive for the selections offered. The place was empty so the service was good. Food quality good.
We celebrated Christmas at the Beach Cafe we went because of the Vegan menu when we arrived they had a special 3 course Christmas menu plus the bar menu when I asked about the Vegan option they gladly prepared it and it was delicious.
Our server was wonderful. Everything we ordered was horrible.
The Beach Cafe came through for us and our large entourage, as they always do, on Christmas day! We were pleased by the remarkable staff's kindness, assistance, and excellence. We've been having lunches and dinners at the Beach Cafe for many years--we're never disappointed!
Very dirty dining room. They did a poor job cleaning, even after we pointed food all over the floor.
Excellent food but the menu seemed a bit limited. However, everyone in our group was able to find something they liked.
Service was slow. The BALT sandwich came with no bacon...a major part of the sandwich. The chicken on it was cold, pressed slices rather than real sliced chicken. The oriental chicken salad was underdressed. They finally took care of both, but the sandwich was very mediocre...not much flavor & very little bacon for $16. They did take off half the price for the wait and do over.
The salad was good after more dressing added.
Only thing worth ordering is the brussel sprout appetizer. Fish in f& chips and f tacos had small over-cooked fish pieces. Not worth the price. A cup of chowder is too creamy with heavy cream and $9 is over the value.
Food was really good, but we only did soup, salad & brussels sprouts. Yummy. Beautiful view, right on the water. You can talk w/o having to yell, so nice place for business lunch/dinner or catch up w/friends.
The menu seems to be shrinking. Many old favorites are long gone. The current choices are average with none noticeably outstanding. We have been longstanding customers and now don't think we will be coming back. There are also some tricky "extra charges" on the tab. So sorry to say this. The Beach Cafe used to be a favorite for us and our out of town guests.
The view was outstanding. We had to wait a while before someone came and took our order. the reason for the low rating is that our table's support failed and the table fell on one side. in looking at the underside of the table, it looked like it has been repaired with wooden shims prior to us sitting on it. We should never have been sat at this table! when we reported it to the bus boy, he smiled and made no comment. We were lucky that we had mostly finished eating or it could have been a real mess.
Went to the Beach Cafe for Thanksgiving. We got there 15 minutes early, and it took 10 minutes past reservation time for our table to free up but that was OK- we sat in the bar, ordered drinks and talked to the bartender. Everywhere in the cafe has a view through the windows - there are not many seats, and none of them are bad. It was a rainy Turkey Day, but the view was still pleasant.
Once we adjourned to our table, dinner was delicious. Attendees either had the turkey dinner or a prime rib. Portions were enormous, the food was quite tasty, and our server was attentive - even running to the kitchen to get the answers to questions about sauces. Everyone took leftovers home.
The dessert wasn't as good as the dinner - bread pudding was a bit dry and bland. Otherwise, a complete success of a meal. Will happily return for a non-holiday dinner anytime!
Everything was fantastic except it was cold inside the restaurant. Chilly air blew on us the entire time we were there. I mentioned it to our server who said they were aware of the issue, but because they are connected to the hotel, they can’t turn up the heat without overheating the hotel. How unfortunate. I will make sure to dress appropriately next time so I don’t have to dine in my winter coat. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
Beware the new limited choice dinner menu. They have hired a new executive chef and some of our favorites from the old menu are gone
Excellent seafood and wine selections. Service was great. Coming from the southeast, I was looking for fresh local slamin and found it hear. All upside experience.
Probably sat too close to the bar. One loudmouth local patron could be heard above all other sounds detering from an otherwise exceptional night.
Eat here often and very good overall. Biggest disappointment is with reservations. Left request for booth and not to have a certain table, in particular. Of course, we get there and that one table is all that is left and hostess said she didn't get our request made on Open Table.
Always a great place to go with friends or family on any occasion
ASHLEY IS THE BEST....smiling, friendly, helpful explaining features of menu
The location is good but the food was not great. Not terrible but certainly nothing special. I had the Fish tacos and it is quite a small meal for the price. Good service though
A definite favorite brunch, lunch and dinner restaurant. Beautiful Lake Washington view!
We were caught off-guard by the presence of over two dozen high school students seated next to us for their pre-dance Homecoming Dinnner. While not the environment we had anticipated we enjoyed the fashion show as groups of students went back and forth to the restrooms. We also noticed they nearly all ordered either a burger or fish and chips. Meanwhile we both ordered seafood pasta which had generous portions of a variety of seafood. We were happy with our selection.
Great burgers. Nice outdoor patio on the lake in good weather.
The Beach Cafe has one of the most stunning waterfront views in the Puget sound area. It wisely has a limited menu and says within itself. What it does, it does well. Because we usually have an eight-year-old God-daughter with us, the kid friendly environment is important to us.
It has an excellent selection of wines by the glass that are all excellent values.
Desserts are ordinary.
I have been thinking what to say about my dining experience, and gratuities. I forget that 18% is added AUTOMATICALLY to your bill. I added another 20% tip forgetting about the 18%, of course the server DID NOT say anything. The polite thing to do would have been to mention the gratuity is already added. My fault I did not review the bill, as was busy with the meeting discussion. I would say this is really dishonest not to bring this to my attention -- just beware with these people if you want to avoid adding over 38% to your bill. I still smarting about this, and will not go here again - felt very much taken advantage of...
wait staff was not attentive and seemed disengaged. It looked like they had plenty of time on their hands. Took way too long to be served and very poor follow up. Limited menu. Food is OK. Great location.
Been to this place a few times and liked it, but this time was a bad experience. Booked and asked for water view for a birthday. They put us at practically the only table without water views despite not being busy.
Food wasn't great, dunno if they changed chefs but it used to be decent and somewhat inventive. Now it's slightly nicer than bar food and seems they skimp when they can. For instance storebought molten lava cake with dried raspberries instead of fresh.
Even though I booked with a note that it was my mom's birthday, *AND* my wife told the server directly before desert it was her bday, no candle, no happy bday written in chocolate, no cake, no picking up a desert. They didn't even SAY happy birthday.
Finally they charged an auto-gratuity even though we were only a party of 6. It's not like they did a great job with the service. Won't be back to this place.
I had blackened tuna with a generous piece of tuna - Delichious and pricy
Went there for a special occasion brunch as family was visiting, the server was nice and took our order and we then proceeded to wait over an hour for our food whilst the tables around us got theirs. I honestly think the server forgot to send in our order.
Half way through we were given complimentary mini muffins then waited another 40 minutes for our food to show up. We didn’t see our server at all during this time, I think she hid from us. Eventually our food was brought over by another server who started a conversation with the next table a couple of yards away whilst still holding our food so it was getting cold. Once the food got to us half the dishes were lukewarm as though they had been sitting at the pass for a long time (plus server chat time).
I think the food would have been nice at the right temperature but the service was so crap it was infuriating so I just can’t recommend this place.
Sorry poor service this time. Seated at a table out of view from the main dining area. 20 minutes before wait staff arrived. When she did she went to a table in front of us where the customers had just been seated. I have been to the Beach Café many times without any problems so that's why I booked a reservation this time. I'll go again but I will refuse seating in that area. Yes, there were many other open tables as we were dining early. Howard.
Great place to go for view of lake Washington. Food has been inconsistent over the few times we have gone in the last year. Service was very friendly.
