bd's Mongolian Grill - Independence
We went here for my daughter's 18th birthday. Food and service was awesome!
I will make other reservation in the future and eat their again. Thank u, great place to eat. My drink good as well. Our server was busy but other staff maded sure wd got what we needed, kudos for team work.
For the first time, we used a reservation for 11 AM. When we arrived, the hostess showed us to our table. Our waitress arrived shortly after. Great service, attention to detail and atmosphere!
The experience here is always amazing. Halie is my go to waitress, if she is available you should ask for her and tell her I sent you. She definitely will make sure you are well taken care of.
Great service. Salad bar is good. It would be nice to have a vegan soup meat and dairy free. We had a FREE desert coupon on our rewards we used. Fried Oreo cookies my husband loved them Thank God for Bds Mongolian BBQ!! Yum
Our server was fantastic. Thank you Natalie for your attentiveness to our family! She was quick , friendly, and anticipated everything we needed and was quick to fulfill requests.
We love BDs ❤️
Once again it was great. Fast service and great food. Our family from Canada loved it.
Food wasent good whater was not friendly wont be back very bad evain 4 a weak day
This was my first time at bd's Mongolian Grill. We were there for a birthday. Five of us with presents fit comfortably in a booth. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and checked on us without being obnoxious. I being a vegetarian loved all my choices and that they took my bowl to the back to grill, rather than using the same grill they were cooking meat on. My cocktail was great, my food was wonderful. I will go back for sure!
Easy to make reservations for large group online. Confirmation call from restaurant. Seating ready, server was very good taking care of several different families separate bills. Food was great, prepared perfectly. Fun to watch the guys cook on the grill. Can't wait to go back!
Highly recommend get place for birthdays and get togethers
Not as good .as other Mongolian barbecues I've had. The food was definitely overcooked which spoiled it for us.
Service was mediocre. We had to ask for everything. More bowls, refills on rice and drinks. Food was good.
Meats & veggies were all fresh. Lots of choices for spices & sauces. Great experience watching chefs cook food. Our group of 7 all loved their meals. Wide variety of appetizers & desserts. We went for an 11th birthday & will definitely go back again.
We had a party of 10 and everyone enjoyed the food
Our food was left on the grill longer than anyone elses, we were the first to get ours put on and the last to get it taken off. By the time we got our food it was horribly burned and almost inedible yet we still were charged full price.
Great as always. Our server was awesome! It was busy, but what place isn't!
Nice Valentine’s meal.
First time to BDs. Will definitely make a return visit.
The grill cooks burned two of our entries by leaving the food on the grill surface too long. Other restaurants with a similar setup/theme are much better.
Everything was good but I wish they’d go back to their old sauces. Not as eager to go when I can’t get what I like anymore 😢
Our Waitress was great - Think her name was Sydney??? Very attentive.
only problem we had was they were out of kids menus. when we got our bill the kid drinks(they were the only ones who got anything besides water) were as much as their meals. after we left looked online at kids menu we were charged for adult drinks instead of kids.
It was great. We had gone for my birthday, we enjoyed our meal.
Our group of 6 arrived and we checked in with a reservation and they gave our table away. We were told that we would have to wait an unknown amount of time (like everyone else without a reservation). We were on a time limit, the reason we planned ahead. Once we were seated, they split our group into 2 different groups in the bar area. The waiter was also the bartender who introduced himself and went straight to the bar to serve. We had to make a decision to stay on schedule, we had to leave and find somewhere else to eat. Not a good experience. Stressful environment.
Had reservations at 7, got there at 650 my 2 children an I was seated at 7, waiting for the rest of the group to show up. I waited over 15 mins for my server to come over an ask if I wanted something to drink while waiting for the rest of the group. I noticed she was just standing over in the corner by the server station. She didn't tell us her name or anything. I wasn't happy waiting over 15 mins to get a drink.
Awesome food and good service! Second time here and it was even better than the first. If you haven't been it is a great place to discover.
When we arrive before 630 reservation the hostess was not able to read for OpenTable reservation system affectively and told us a reservation was for 4:30. Luckily I had my confirmation email and they immediately sent us out in the open table. The waitress was slow on refilling our drinks and I purchased a drink from the bar that took 45 minutes to be delivered. The cooks were great and very personable and the food was OK.With the volume of diners it’s important to keep the food buffet clean and full. Many of the guest who were eating did not seem completely familiar with how to walk through a buffet line.
We had bad service and it was really sad going here for fathers day and we did not get our white rice and tortillas until we were almost done. no refills. Had to find our own plates.
We love Bds Mongolian grill. We have been coming for years. We always come for our birthday meals and often for other kid free date nights. The kiddos enjoy watching the chefs make the food but it's difficult to lug a toddler/baby up to make your bowls especially on a busy night when the line can get quite long. So we usually go alone. Our food is good...but sometimes the spices we choose aren't what we expected, but the more we visit the more you learn how to make delicious combinations. Season the meat and veggie bowl w seasonings before having them cook it then add sauce during cooking!!
My family doesn't have food allergies, thank goodness. But if they did I'm sure this wouldn't be a good place. Since ppl make their own bowls and I'm sure some accidents may happen and seafood could touch other meat... There are peanuts on the spice area and there is one grill for cooking multiple peoples food at a time. Eggs are also available to added to bowls so it would make me nervous! But there is a sign that says "Let your chef know if you have food allergies" so I'm sure they clean a spot on the grill...
Over all good place to go for an endless assortment of Asian cuisine, made to order.
We are all fat and extremely useless for the rest of the workday. Which is pretty much exactly what the plan was.
We enjoyed the food, but it was far to noisy to have a meeting. Plus we were put in a room with another big party. I will not have another business meeting here. I would just come to eat with my family though.
The place was clean, busy and the Staff was friendly. It was my first time there and our Waiter talked me through it before we started. All had a good time, very relaxed.
They were extremely busy when we got there, but the line flowed smoothly and we were able to dive into the deliciousness before the hunger pangs got too noticeable!
Overall good experience! Went for an after graduation dinner for my daughter, with about 20 or so people. The food was good, the reserved seating area was great, and our sever David was excellent! No complaints! Will definitely go again! :)
It was disappointing they did not have my reservation when I arrived. I had to show them my email.
We love ad's Mongolian for family gatherings because it accommodates everyone's different eating plan.
Our waitress Chelsea was outstanding. Everyone was accommodating.
