bd's Mongolian Grill – Dublin
Great food and the service was amazing.
When we first got there we checked in at the front desk told the girl my name etc After about 20mins they realized my party hadn't been sat yet. They finally took us back to eat. We enjoyed our food once we were able to sit down.
I eat there frequently but I went and had dinner with my girlfriend and son. I never had any issues with the quality of the food but when I went to make my bowl the chicken was frozen which irritated me because I never had this happen to me there so I had to go without chicken
We repeatedly had to request our server who was pretty absent for most of our meal.
Very delicious food. Definitely got my money's worth.
Seated us exactly at reservation time
The gong was not good for our infant but other than that it was good.
We went out during a major holiday so understandably is was packed to the wall ( literally) with people. Cooks were confused and servers were running around like headless chickens but other than that the food and service was great.
This is one of our favorite places but this visit was a little disappointing. The salad bar hadn’t been stocked, a lot of items were empty. We asked them to refill it but after waiting 5ish minutes or so we gave up. Server was nice but slow, we had to wait a lot for refills on everything.
Food was pretty awful. Our whole family’s dinners were burnt on the grill. It was a waste of money & we will not be returning, very disappointed
The waiter was super friendly to us, had a very big smile every time he came to our table. We dine a lot out and he is one of the few left that is actually genuine.. the food was delicious like always. 😀
Just based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend it all. Our service was awful (and I’m pretty easy to please and was a server).
It was good. But I suggest they replace the menus. They were dingy and we'll overused. Print some new ones. Bathroom was not clean.
We feel the price is expensive for a one bowl trip ...unlimited bowl is much more expensive .
We enjoyed this. It was interesting watching them cook our food.
Ended up paying 15.00 each and was never told that it included the soup and salad bar by our server we each only made one trip to the grill. Also kids menu options were not made available
Fun atmosphere, especially for a group.
Compared to other Mongolian Grills we have gone to this one was pure chaos. Food stations were not stocked and no order on where to stand to get food cooked. It took 45 minutes from when I selected my food to get back to my table to eat. Worst experience we have had at the restaurant.
I love traveling from Mansfield,Ohio to Columbus,Ohio for BDs! We try to come once a month or so! It's excellent food and the price isn't bad for what you get!
We really enjoyed the food. My daughters can be picky eaters but here they get to choose exactly what they want, how much they want, and how spicy they want it. We always bring home leftovers with the single bowl because we save room desserts. The desserts are wonderful!!!
Good work tonight. Good job having the table ready upon our arrival. Food was good. Only thing I don’t like is how the selection of steak is not as attractive as it used to be.
Took our large family and even my picky eaters LOVED it! Wish there was one closer to home! (Niles, Ohio)
We had a good time at bd's Mongolian Grill. It was very loud as there was another large group there at the same time however we still enjoyed ourselves. It is always nice that those dining can enjoy whatever they want as the buffet of meats and veggies is expansive.
Right from the table booking through seating, ordering, food choice, bbq prep, rice and tortilla serving, check preparation and finally payment process everything is 5star.
Food is delicious and you can choose whatever u want that fits into the bowl they share it with me.
We were celebrating two birthdays, mine and our daughters. We were running late due to traffic from a car accident (in fact two - one for us heading north and another for our grandson heading south). The restaurant had tried to contact us by phone and text, however I had left my phone at home on the charger! However, they quickly reset our table as we awaited our grandsons arrival, one from Akron and the other with girlfriend from Columbus area. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was just fantastic.
We have been in other BD's but BD's in Dublin on Sawmill Rd is definitely my favorite!! I am sure that we will return again when in Columbus!
Thanks for the wonderful food, service and staff attention!!
They had several employees not show up for work. Our Server was busy but attentive. The manager was super busy making sure everything went well.
Very good service - rice came out in a timely manner. Was overall pleased with a quick dinner with mom and sister.
Love when Saul is working the grill . He is so nice and funny
Love the ability to make my own dish and control the ingredients. It's healthier eating. And reasonably priced. The Dublin location is a bit cave-ish. But we go periodically because we like the food. Service is consistently extremely attentive and warm.
Slow service... extremely loud. Restaurant was very hot... maybe AC was broken? The tables are packed together... obviously trying to fit as many people in as possible. Ruins the atmosphere.
This is one of my favorites. It’s tasty, fun, and just great
Its such great food because you’re the one picking out all of your ingredients.
Love this place. My wife and I drive 45 minutes to get here.
I love this place. The big difference between the Dublin location compared to Easton or Downtown is that Dublin also has a Salad and Soup Bar.
You can’t complain about the food because you pick out all of the ingredients yourself.
Overpriced if you only eat one serving and are vegan. They should have a lower price of you only eat one bowl. Food was delicious though, and they were kind enough to cook our vegan food on a clean grill. Server was nice and ambiance was very casual. Alcoholic drinks incredibly reasonably priced.
We were very irritated that we had a reservation for a party of 7 and the staff tried to sit us at a table prepared for 5 that was squeezed in the corner. We told them that we had a reservation and were told that online reservations through OpenTable are handled differently and you get what is left over.
This is completely unacceptable and doesn’t make any sense. We had a newborn baby who couldn’t be out in the open and a 3 year old toddler. We disclosed this in our reservation. To make matters worse, the hostess said that this restaurant doesn’t have booster seats so the toddler had to sit on her Mother’s lap.
Our waiter was excellent and stayed on top of the drinks. Aside from his excellent service and the food we still were very shocked by the hostess. We’ve been long time customers at this location and are now considering whether or not we’ll be returning.
Meh. Food was ok
The food and service was great. If you book a large party, make sure to call ahead and request that they do not put you in the center of the main dining area. We were uncomfotable smooshed in.
I wish i could give the food a zero star. The hostess stuck us in a corner where we had to climb around so many people when there were plenty of open tables closer to the front of the restaurant so that was very irritating and inconvenient. Then the food we got was absolutely burnt! I got a new bowl and it was still burnt. Everyone around us had burnt food. It was the worst experience with food I’ve had in my life at a restaurant. We had to pay $40 for disgusting BURNT food! I will never be back to this restaurant ever and I will be sure to tell everyone not to go! WHO PAYS $40 FOR ABSOLUTELY BURNT TO A CRISP FOOD! Our server didn’t even offer any type of consolation so we had to pay full price for disgusting food. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE!
