Hibachi workers were very engaging - Our server John was outstanding
Food was delicious. Was not happy with service or that we had reservations and still had to wait when there was empty tables. Was told no white rice. Price I think was overly priced for one bowl
Place has gone down hill since the last time we went. Something has changed since the last time we were there. They were understaffed, a lot of the meat was frozen solid and could't be picked out. The grillers were bored out of their mind, and could barely be bothered to be there, and it was a mess. Bowls and food all over the place around the grill
The food was excellent the server never told us about the special to get unlimited bowls for the price of one bowl, and they canceled my reservation initially so I was worried I would not get my hundred points and had to wait around to talk to a manager to have it re-initiated in the system I love Mongolian I will go back

We reserved a table almost 2 hours in advance and when we got there we still had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table because someone didn’t pay attention we were told. Our waiter was good but she refused to give me my student discount with my card shown for the bowls that we didn’t get a refill on and got sassy with us it seemed. Then because I’m pregnant when I asked the cook that took my bowl to please make sure my steak is well done he got an attitude and rolled his eyes and continued to joke around with another cook that was back there. The food tasted great but the customer service was bad.
Mediocre at best. Wait at lunch wasn't long but the "grill master" wasn't paying much attention to what was in the bowls and cooked everyone's food at the same length of time. My protein was only seafood and it, along with my vegetables were burned to almost a crisp.
Server must’ve been new as she didn’t know the drink I ordered was a beer. Asked for sour cream and had to track down another server to follow up on that request. Chicken wasn’t fully cooked from the grill, chicken and shrimp fried rice from the back kitchen was disgusting and taken off the bill. I haven’t been to this place in a long time, and Saturday’s experience reminded me why.
Specifically at this location, BD's Mongolian grill in Dearborn, the last several times I have gone there and either myself or my friends have made an OpenTable reservation, I later wondered, "Why bother?" A reservation is supposed to mean you go there at a certain time to get seated at that time. I can understand taking a few minutes to get the table ready. But when I arrive and tell them I have an OpenTable reservation and they say it's going to be 20 to 25 minutes, and I see others arriving and being seated before us, I wonder why I made a reservation? A previous time, we were told it would be 10 to 15 minutes, three separate times while standing there, and the total weight was closer to 45 minutes, WITH an OpenTable reservation. This last time, not only did I have to wait much longer than I would have expected with a reservation, but I actually received an email while I was standing there that said my OpenTable reservation was canceled. WHAT?? Sounds to me like a way to scan OpenTable out of there commission they get for the reservation. There is one specific person that has been at the front the last few times that seems to me to be the problem. This last time he told me that my reservation was treated like a call ahead, and it "usually cuts the wait time in half". That is not a reservation by definition. An open table reservation made for 7:15 means I expect to be seated at 7:15 or within a few minutes of that. I'm strongly considering not going to BD's Mongolian Grill in Dearborn anymore because of these shady issues, which means I may not go to the restaurant in general anymore since other locations would not be as convenient to get to.
The waiter had to be continuously asked for everything, and 2 plates had char on the food over cooked
Went for lunch and it was a nice experience. The restaurant was not crowded. Waitress was really good. The food was excellent.
The food was terrible. Not clean environment. Buffet looked like the food was sitting in germs for a long time. Just overall bad experience. Dirt dishes, both greasy and with left over food residue on them.
Service was terrible. The men grilling the food were too preoccupied with counting their tips in front of the customers then focusing on the food. The food was covered in the black burnt stuff from the grill it didn’t even taste good. The waitress were never around and the waitress station was covered with too many dirty dishes and plates it was just disgusting. Bus boy trays were overflowing with dirty dishes and left sitting on tables. It was defiantly disappointing and an awful experience and I won’t be returning.
My waitress wasn’t as friendly as the others when I have visited in the past it took 3 times for my food not to taste burnt
We had to wait for 25 minutes and the restaurant was empty! Slow services once we were seated. One griller and when we got back to the table we still had no rice, tortillas or drinks. Won't be back.
This location used to be good. There was no soup bowls or spoons the entire time we were there even after we asked. I had to wait for the steak buns to be filled for roughly 15 minutes along with a line of people. My son and husband completed their meals before I even got back to the table. There were also empty bins on both the salad bar and dinner stations. It's a serve yourself restaurant, the food should be available. The cooks were rude and unfriendly. The only positive was our server, she was great.
Food was Good, They cleaned the place up nicely! It used to be dirty and sticky everywhere, now it much cleaner! Seems like new management maybe, Service was Great!
Staff didn’t seem very happy from the person at the door, people making the food to the waitstaff. We didn’t get checked on and needed refills on drinks for quite a while. On a good note the food bars are well kept with fresh food and clean.

SO bad. The meat didn't feel fresh, the meal was dry. I wanted to go to Benihana's to get the taste of bd mongolian grill out of my mouth.
It was nice, just loud next to where they cook, I wouldn't suggest it as good for groups because not everyone eats at the same time

The restaurant was the filthiest I have ever eaten in from top to bottom.
We were traveling through the area with 4 adults and 3 children. The youngest is visually impaired so his hearing is escalated. The noice level was entirely to extreme for him. Not really set up for a nice family dinner. This is more of a party place. Food and service were good but i probably would not choose to go back.
Overall experience was good. Looks like some items possibly removed from the salad area, ham, bacon... And there was no sirloin for the meat choices.
Very enjoyable experience. All of the ladies in our group had a wonderful time, and will return again.
First experience and it was great, the only gross part is when two groups left, the tables were filthy so you had to look at that quite often as people come and go but the service was good and food was delicious.
Our server was very attentive and sympathetic. We were there for my son's birthday and the ceiling was leaking and dripping on our guests. I got our server and she got the manager. He said he would turn down the air conditioner, well that did not stop the dripping. I brought a birthday cake and as I was slicing for everyone our guest at the end of the table had her napkin covering her cake to keep it dry. How sad AND embarrassing. We were so uncomfortable that my son ask to open gifts at home so I carried his wrapped presents back out of the restaurant. Awful, just awful. Now regarding the food, I was disappointed to find no scallops, no new york strip beef and no mandarin oranges. I see the prices increased and the food choices went down. I did not have a second helping because I didn't want one.
The restaurant was pretty seeing it was Mother’s Day. They seemed to be out of all the kid keepsakes. Which seemed to be the only thing my kid was concerned about. The food was good as it was create your own stir fry. It do seem as if they didn’t have all the ingredients the other bd’s had. But I would go there again on a day that’s not so busy.
Arrived at 5:10 for a 5:15 reservation. At 5:45 we were still not seated. I asked the host how much longer and was told another 15-30 minutes as there was still two reservations ahead of us. A reservation means that your table is ready when you arrive.
What is the point of a reservation if I have to wait an hour to get a table. The location is ran by a bunch of young adults that clearly don't care about customer service. The entire restaurant was in complete disarray, everyone everywhere walking around dazed and confused.
In my period of time that I waited had to use the restroom, FILTHY! The restroom was worse then a maximum security prison that was vacant for the last 20 years.
I attempted to call bd's corporate office, the only option is to leave a message no matter what button you push. Well guess what, NO CALL BACK! I think they have everyone leave a message because they can't field all the negative calls directly.

food was good and staff was friendly. however, the floor, tables, counters, and chairs were all sticky. there was water spilled and standing in several spots in the dining area. on the food prep counter there was a large clear bin full of cleaned up food items and used dishes. due to the lack of cleanliness i would not recommend this location to anyone.
This was the second time that I used the reservation option and it work out great, again. Although we came on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was not filled, there was peace of mind knowing that we had reserved seats with the size group that we came with. As always the staff was great and so was the food. Thanks.
The food was ok, but I dob't like that they removed the option to order a meal off the menu instead of doing the bowl.
Our waitress was Julianne. She was awesome! Very attentive didn't ask for anything really she had it down. Definitely will request her section next time.! The cooks were going at it.! Very enjoyful night. Great food, this is my favorite place to eat. Never dissatisfied. The entire staff worked excellent.
Great staff. Very friendly. Alexa was very attentive. She was managing many tables and was able to meet all of their needs, sometimes before we knew we needed anything. The cooking crew was great. Very friendly and even acknowledged tips. The food was very good. But you need to have some knowledge of cooking to know what to select and what to avoid. But that’s part of the experience.
Service was poor, had to ask for everything. Not the best bd's experience we have had.

Our Best Friend was visiting from out of state and doesn’t have this restaurant in his home town. The tongs for the meat especially the chicken ones were gross and covered in chicken and the food bothered everyone’s stomach later and $55 for three people to eat and two of us got water to drink is also outrageous when all we got was one bowl.
