bd's Mongolian Grill - Beavercreek Ratings and Reviews
The food containers to refill the cold tables were stacked on the window ledge. We were there for over an hour & the container with the scallops (that was the only meat container I saw, the rest were veggies) were out unrefrigerated that entire time. I usually get shrimp, scallops, & ribeye in my bowl. I definitely skipped the scallops that time.
I love Mongolian Grill my biggest issue with them is that i live in fairfield in the nearest one is in beavercreek because the one in mason closed recently. If they could build one closer to me i would be there almost everyday honestly. Other than the drive the food is awesome and the service is top notch!
I’ve heard great things about this place. I took my 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son here after his football game. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help. Just to go to an environment where employees are smiling and having a good time makes makes the experience for customers that much better! My kids are already asking when we can go back.
Open table much faster at getting us seated. They were short staffed and ran out of items at the bowl and salad bar. The chefs were fun but our servers were overwhelmed. For the price it's rather expensive for all the waiting. Felt like it was an amusement ride vs a dining experience. My recommendation is to not go during peak hours.
This restaurant is average at best. The food is not very tasty after it's grilled. The noise level is too loud for good conversations. The ambiance is not great as the floor was very dirty. The salad bar was very slight in terms of selections and the soups were just plain strange.
We went during peak time Sat night, with a wait. I think there were just too many people to make a flow go smoothly, they should not have had let that many people in at once. We had to wait at buffet to get directed to a 2nd row position at the grill. Which was ok but it was in the path of the kitchen. So we backed against the wall with our food, so people could come through with dishes and dirty bus tubs. Just very uncomfortable.
And all along the buffet on the windowsill were tubs of spare food (crab, pasta, etc) to refill the buffet with. Sitting in the sunlight, not refrigerated, the whole 90 min we were there. Also along the buffet on window ledge were dirty rags and trash. I stepped in raw meat twice. We got separated at the buffet line and grill, so one of us was done and ate alone, while the others stood in line.
Service and food good, but just a bad experience during a rush. Could be easily fixed with managing flow better.
