It is an amazing restaurant
Nice ambient elegant venue and very good service but food was well below the expectations, quality not great and price was far too high overall, cocktails good
Food wise, one of the less tasty spanish even tried, not valute for the money..
One of the best meals I have had in Houston. Mario was amazing and asked the chef to do a tasting menu for us. Everything was delicious.
We were treated wonderfully from the time we arrived til we left and were never rushed. Service was extraordinary and the Bronzino was prepared and presented deliciously. We will definitely be returning.
Great service from Paco and Mario. Looking forward to MAD.
One of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Houston. The food is inspired, beautiful, and delicious. And the service is outstanding.
Service was gracious and attentive. Food was beautifully presented and delicious.
Outstanding food, service and wine menu! A top level spanish cuisine.
BCN is splendid in every way.
BCN always has excellent food and service. The food is truly authentic and makes for an excellent evening out.
The best kitchen from Spain in Houston area. For me the best restaurant in the city where all the products are really vey well cared. Unfortunately in the United States the synonym of a fancy restaurant is Steakhouse.
BCN without extravagance demonstrates that outstanding food, excellent service, and comfortable space can reshape the concept of a good restaurant in Houston. Definitively you feel like if you were in Spain.
I expect they could keep the same quality in their future new restaurant MAD.
Easily one of the best dining experiences in the city. Outstanding service, lovey ambiance, great drinks, and phenomenal food.
Service was exceptional with great recommendations. Lovely Gintonic and wine. Pleasant ambience. Great experience
BCN has become my go to place for fine dining. On this occasion, the razor clams were probably the best clams I have ever had. The food is consistently great - I just love the place. The chocolate dessert is fantastic too!!
Our favorite in all of Houston. Paco and his crew are too notch!
I lived in BCN, and this is the closest I have found in authenticity in the US yet.
Simply The best in Houston.
Best restaurant in Houston!!!!!
Phenomenal service and attention to detail. We will definitely come back.
Service was impeccable. Knowledgeable and polite and attentive. Each course was wonderfully curated and excecuted by the kitchen. The ingredients were astonishingly fresh and of the highest quality. The cocktails were probably the best I have ever had, and generally, I do not like gin.
Quality food with excellent service. We need more Spanish restaurants in Houston.
Excellent menu and attention to detail during the dining experience. Superior experience overall.
The service was gracious and topnotch. We were welcomed at the door and immediately shown to our seats. The food was also excellent -- what I'd expect from a top restaurant. I particularly appreciated the sound-absorbing ceiling in the lovely main dining room, which allows for conversation--too many newer establishments have the industrial ceiling that make conversation almost impossible. It was my third time here for a special occasion (anniversary), and BNC didn't disappoint.
The bartender who served us was great and made multiple recommendations we took and he did not lead us astray, everything was phenomenal and perfectly cooked
Incredible tapas, delicious food, great wine selection. Jesus was a delight as our server and Paco, the owner, even stopped by our table and conversed with us before our meal! One of the romantic restaurants around Houston!
fantastic. amazing service. food is exceptional. we had a large group and the service was excellent.
Not very accommodating for allergies, but otherwise excellent.
Our server Crystal was spectacular.....very knowledgeable about the menu and made
great recommendations we will definitely be back
Excellent food and cocktails. Attentive service.
The main dining room really needs a chair rail and there are visible scuff marks on the wood paneling from chair backs.
Amazing food and lovely gin cocktails. The service could have been a little more polished and the decor could do with some attention.
Overpriced food and not authentic Spanish dishes. The only really good place is the ham. The server was not focus and distracted but polite.
Our food was amazing. We felt like we were in Spain as we dined on grilled octopus (Grilled Spanish octopus served with potato purée, olive oil and smoked paprika Pulpo a la “Gallega” rematado en las brasas y “papas arrugás), ***grilled calamari (Pan-seared Spanish calamari, caramelized onions, and squid ink olive oil“Calamares de playa” a la plancha), fresh anchovies (Fresh pickled anchovies Boquerones en vinagre), branzino (Grilled wild-caught branzino with avocado, grapefruit, pine nuts and warm mayonnaise foam Lubina salvaje a las brasas con pequeña ensalada de aguacate, pomelo, piñones y espuma de mayonesa), and suckling pig that was an amazing explosion of texture and taste (Suckling Ibérico pig “a la Segoviana”, plum in texturesCochinillo de cerdo Ibérico a la Segoviana con ciruela en texturas y glacesangria, Spanish wines, Gonzalo was an outstanding waiter that was attentive and knowledgable. We will be back!
One of the best dining experiences we have had recently.
We had a fabulous night here. The service was outstanding right from when we arrived. We chose to sit at the bar and the barman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Going from previous reviews we ordered two different gins and they didn’t disappoint. That’s not a drink I would usually order when going out. My partner loves sardines so when he saw two options on the menu he was struggling to make a choice. No problem the helpful staff said they would do half and half so he could try both. The octopus I ordered was the most tender I had ever tasted not a chew in sight. We had duck and seafood pasta dishes for our entrees and were pleased with both. The desert was the most light airy filo pastry filled parcels with creme brûlée and were to die for. The wine we chose was a Spanish Chardonnay and was good at $60 a bottle. You need to book in advance. There appears to be 2 sittings we chose 6.30pm and were finished by 8pm. The couple seated next to us had been previously and highly recommended the potato appetiser/ I struggled to get my head around ordering potatoes as a course but after see them and hearing everyone rave I would definitely try next time. It’s not cheap but in our view good value for money for what you get and the verbal experience. We will definitely return ono our next visit to Houston and would highly recommend to anyone.
We celebrated our 15th anniversary here. The food was fantastic! We had the watermelon and burrata salad, and Boquerones as our appetizers. Our main course was one of the specials - lamb chops, which were delicious, and the suckling pig, which was also delicious, very rich flavor! We got a great wine recommendation to go with our meal as well. If you like gin and tonics, they have several great options on the menu! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston, never disappointed when we've been here.
Wonderful meal! Portions were perfectly sized and the presentation was beautiful. We made a reservation to go back before we left. Highly recommend
one of the best restaurants i have been to. Great dinner experience
