Excellent food at a reasonable price. Specifically, the seafood here is amazing. I also really like the spiced olives appetizer. Service here is prompt but at times we find it to be a bit awkward. Both times we visited the server was very soft spoken and a bit hard to hear. Definitely go here for the food. You won't regret it.
Love Bazin’s. Food wonderful and service is always welcoming. Great restaurant.
Wonderful service and the food was perfectly prepared. Wine list us well thought out and provided many pricing options. A very pleasant experience.
Excellent chicken thigh appetizer but the Moma’s Meatballs were rather bland. Filet mignon was cooked perfect and very tender. Salmon was very good too. Little overpriced on glasses of wine.
Had a wonderful lunch celebrating a friends birthday. Enjoyed a delicious bottle of wine and everyone liked their meal. The restaurant was cold so we asked for the heat to be turned up and they were very accommodating.
Bazin’s is consistently great. The peach Bellini was amazing, as was the rest of the food.
Had a relative in town. The place never lets us down. Great food and great people.
Bazin’s never disappoints!
We both had salads, both were "fine," quite tasty, but not as flavorful as they could have been. My chicken had little taste.
Very good food and good service. The only drawback is the noise level of the very crowded dining room. Still worth the trip.
The food was excellent. I love their fried oysters appetizer! And the cod I had for my entree was cooked perfectly.
We had a great time with excellent service and great meals. All four of us enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend Bazin's to anyone looking for a great meal in Vienna or Fairfax County.
My wife enjoyed her scallops very much. My risotto with shrimp was bland and too creamy. The service was a bit rushed.
I always love Bazin's! Excellent food and friendly staff. Julie and Patrick are always great!
Excellence through and through!
It was very loud, service was slow and not very attentive.
We went for restaurant week and the food was amazing. I think overall it was better than the regular options. Had the swordfish and eggplant rollatini which were delicious. Our server was very attentive - I think she's the best server there. Very knowledgeable and her suggestions are on target.
Have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious!
We met for brunch and were a party of 5. The service was ok, our waiter was attentive. The food was ok, nothing outstanding but nothing bad
I am still dreaming of the Risotto on the Restaurant Week menu...which they let us order even though we did a la carte.
This restaurant never disappoints! Great food and service!!!
Delicious food prepared with a unique twist. Also attentive service without being obtrusive.
Bazin's is an old favorite of ours. The level of quality which the owner-chef has maintained over the last 15 or so years is remarkable. We came for Restaurant Week but splurged with a bottle of Italian red wine. Our appetizers ("braised" cauliflower and eggplant rolatini) were tasty if a touch bland. Our entrees (salmon and cod) were more complex and quite good. Our desserts were sweet and salty and very tasty. Together, the six courses were a bargain. The wine was good but not great, and something less than a bargain. The service was fine, as usual. The ambience is what it is.
Bazin's never disappoints; we enjoy it every time we go!
Bazins is my new favorite local restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the menu is excellent, and the service and food are second to none. We will be back soon!
Always Great!! Nice appetizers we always like the oysters
Very much enjoyed the prime rib. Service was good, ambiance was fun and energetic. Went on a Wednesday night. Will definitely return :)
High value dining. Only problem is with noise level for folks who want to have a conversation without shouting.
Wonderful food and great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful as per usual. We love this place and will always return
Dinner was absolutely amazing!!! I had the Braised Short Ribs & my husband had the Chilean Sea Bass. The dishes came out piping hot and was delicious.
This was our second time dining here and we enjoyed the experience. My wife had the filet and I had the scallops special. Both meals were well prepared and very tasty but I thought 3 scallops for $30 was a bit on the expensive side.
The soup was served cold. The dessert which was a warm apple pie was also served cold. Instead of bringing a fresh cup of coffee, on two occasions the waiter merely poured hot coffee on top of the cold even when conveyed that it was cold. Of two persons waiting our table, one never smiled and grunted when asked for something.
I have been to this restaurant in the past and had a nice experience. I don’t know if it has changed or if it was an off day - but this was a disappointment and I doubt I will go back. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and I will not pay to have such basics not attended to.
A nice meal. Service was good. The restaurant was not too crowded on a Tuesday at 6pm. Appetizers -Jumbo lump crab spring roll, warm olives, and Caesar salad. Entres of salmon, monkfish, scallops and pork. Scallop special was very good. Salmon and pork were good and monkfish was a little chewy. Overall good experience, but nothing to “wow” our diners or make you excited to return.
Meal was fine. Had the meatballs for appetizer, not bad, the eggs was a nice addition. I had the monkfish for dinner, cooked nicely but really lacked any flavor. Dish was overall very bland. Boyfriend had the scallop special, said scallops were over cooked, flavor was just okay. Service was mediocre.
Food was excellent! Ambiance was great! The only problem was we had to literally ask for a booster seat 4 times before getting one for our 22 month old we had with us while we stood standing holding him anticipating the booster seat over and over.. We had to motion the waiter over ask to order and also ask for the check becasue he never came back to our table or 20 minutes would go by without him doing so..I would still go again and recommend to others but they are not very kid friendly so perhaps brunch with children should be somewhere else ...
Basin's continues to be the best Restaurant in the Vienna area, and is a great dining option. The food is always excellent and creative. The ownership is "hands-on" and it shows... especially in the kitchen. The bar is fun, and the drinks, wine and beer lists are quality. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
What is there not to like about Bazin's on Church! Great atmosphere, food is fabulous with great selections and daily specials. The service is quick, attentive and very friendly. We love coming here whether it is lunch, meet friends for dinner or enjoy Happy Hour.
We had a nice dinner with our family. The food was good. Appetizer came out after dinner did but made the best of it. Friendly service.
Disappointing for a fixed price New Years Eve meal. The service was acceptable. Chilean sea bass was tasty but overwhelmed by wasabi potatoes. Thick, sweet gravy on meat course. Not up to expected Bazins quality.
Our table was a 2-seater with an unfortunate location next to a wall which made us feel a bit crammed, but we were there for New Year's Eve so I know they were trying to serve as many people as possible. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we loved the ambiance. We'll definitely go back (though request a different table).
