   Had a great time. Our waiter was a delightful young man and very attentive. Food was great and delicious. The issue was that the tables were crammed in a tight space and it was hard to maneuver through the tables for both the patrons and even for the poor waiters with their hands full with plates of food and drinks. This was my 10th time at this restaurant and I had never seen it like that. The noise level was too high and hard to carry a comfortable conversation with people around the table. Other than that, it was great.

   We ordered several appetizers to share. All of them were beautifully presented and very flavorful. Among my favorites were the shrimp lettuce wraps and the burrata. The crisp-skinned branzino was an standout among the entrees.

   5:30pmish it started getting busy. But noise level was ok. Got louder once whole place hit 6pm and more people arrived. Still was good. Rib empanadas were so so. But our main dishes were excellent. The Chilean sea bass was excellent. It actually was better than the Branzino. Though would still recommend for those that would like a lighter flavor. Pork chop was delicious. Service was well attended. Will be back.

   Great place with very friendly staff, and plenty of free parking. Food was very good, my branzino was cooked to perfection. My friend's short rib was ok, not bad, but nothing to write hope about. It had a very meaty liquidy sauce, almost like it was out of a soup ball. I tasted it and liked it and it would have been nicer with some bread to dip in. Wine choices were very good. Place is big, airy, casual mostly but we saw a lot of people wearing sport jackets even on a Wednesday evening. Filled up quite well also, I think by 7:30 there were no tables open. Bar and table staff were very friendly and efficient. Good value overall. Our first time but it is on our list now for regular visits in the future.

   The best dining experience in Vienna, with excellent food, drinks, and service. Parking garage underneath the building makes being on Church street a non-issue.

   Atmosphere was terrific, we were sat quickly and cordially by the staff. Food was presented nicely, and would have been perfect except waiter forgot to place the order for one of our appetizers, so I fear our main course sat in the window while we finished the 2nd appetizer. Desert was awesome, and drinks were as well!

   Bazin's has been and continues to be one of our favorites. When I heard that Vienna was having a restaurant week it was a no brainer to return. Everything was excellent. Mushroom soup, beet salad and "oh so good" oysters; great appetizers. Sea Bass is a "classic" dish at Bazin's that my wife had to have. For dessert, the ice cream sundae shared among 4 was scrumptious. Service was perfect. Pay in cash to avoid an additional fee when you use a credit card.

    Great family dinner tonight at Bazin’s for the last day of Vienna’s Restaurant week. Kudos for offering an inclusive menu of delicious food choices that accommodate so many food allergies and preferences. Appreciated the option to order Al-a-carte or to utilize the restaurant week packaged menu. My only disappointment was the credit card surcharge added to the bill. I think our local businesses can do better than slipping that surcharge into the bill. Even if every menu item was increased by 50 cents, it would have been a better business decision in my opinion. All businesses that do this should be required to tell customers when the reservation is being made so the option to bring cash is actually ours. Not many customers typically carry enough cash to pay at a fairly high priced restaurant and no doubt the restaurant owners know this.

    The food was fine, we got fish and short ribs as well as some salads and appetizers. The hazelnut bar dessert was good. The menu is not family friendly as there was not much for kids to eat except for French fries. We eat as a family at nice restaurants often, but this one had very few options that kids would enjoy. This restaurant had an older vibe, I would not recommend for families or date night.

    Food is great but that is about all. Dining room was so loud we could hardly converse at our table and the door was constantly opened which made the room cold. The service was lacking. I realize it was restaurant week and she was probably very busy, but after we finished our meal, we sat for more than 30 minutes waiting for our bill only to find her in the back rolling silverware. Again, love the food.

    Service, food and ambiance were all very good and top marks. However, the wait was quite long (30 minutes) for a 6:30 reservation and there wasn’t adequate room for everyone to stand, without crowding the outgoing diners, accommodate the take out orders on the shelf behind us, room for the maitre d’ station/people, etc. Their waiting area between the entrance door and reception was not used given the cold temperature outside. We’ll try to come back.

    Our food was good and well prepared, and the room has a good vibe. Try to be seated away from the door in cold weather, as the is an arctic chill when folks enter and exit. Overall pleasant experience.

    First time at Bazin’s. Went for restaurant week and was not disappointed. The chicken empanadas and beet salad appetizers were very good (empanadas we’re actually outstanding). Wild mushroom risotto and red curry chicken followed and, again, delicious. Lastly, sundae and salted caramel tart for dessert…tart? Eh, don’t think I would get it again….the sundae, however, was awesome.

    Had a wonderful dinner here with good friends! Our waitress was terrific. She knew everything about the menu! She was very friendly which made our experience very enjoyable! Food was outstanding! Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back! It was loud so conversation was hard but we managed!!

    Appetizer was good. Entree was okay - not great. One dessert of two was good. Sundae was disappointing. Fairly high noise level. Great service. Annoying ‘convenience fee’ on bill - build it in as a cost if you need to recover it. Nonsense extra charges are annoying.

    Good, service, and ambiance were fantastic. It was a little loud because it was restaurant week and the place was packed. We’ve been in the past and the noise has been a lot less. Loved the beet salad, grilled branzino, and braised short ribs.

    Booked a 6pm dinner for 2 last minute on a Saturday. Host reception was immediate and pleasant. After a short wait we were seated in a lineup of 2 person tables, not ideal but the place was packed and we had the window pair of seats. Ambiance of the dining room was busy but appropriate for dinner. Sound panels on the ceiling and walls helped manage the volume. Service (Jeremy) was perfect and well timed. We shared Burrata salad (good) and had Pork Chop (Very Good) and Crab-stuffed Flounder (Very Good). The bottle of wine we shared was very good and very reasonably priced ($48).

    First time here and it was very good! The server was excellent and bar was very prompt with the drinks. The ambience/decor is a bit dated, still a very nice restaurant. Food wise very good, appetizers came out promptly, then salad, and the steak sauce with my steak was absolutely delicious. Street parking is a pain (it was an extremely cold night), as we didn't know about the underground garage adjacent to the restaurant, for the next time. Definitely add this place to our date night rotation.

    Wonderful Valentines day Prix Fix meal. All 4 courses were amazing, full of wonderful flavors. My wife said it was the best meal she had ever had, that may be a bit of a stretch since we have been to numerous Michelin starred restaurants, but dinner was fabulous, as it usually is at Bazin's.

    My wife and I always enjoy coming to Bazin's. The food is always good and we like the atmosphere as well. However, while dining there last night, a few things seemed to have changed that don't make any sense at all, and have taken our outstanding impression down a notch or two. First, Bazin's does not offer or have any bread to bring to the table up front. When we asked our waitress, who has only been there for one year, said they've not had bread since she started there. They used to have bread, very delicious bread in fact. And, if I'm not mistaken, they used to get it from a nearby bakery. Further, I joked about modifying a flatbread pizza, so as not to include any toppings, thereby allowing us to get our "bread" a different way. We were shocked to hear that all of their flatbreads come pre-made with the tomato sauce already on them, i.e. like pre-made frozen breads they just put toppings on! If that's true, that wouldn't be very 'authentic'. Also, we ordered a few Martini's w/ blue cheese stuffed olives, only to find out after receiving the bill that they charge an extra $2 per drink because of the olives. Again, for such a highly rated restaurant, seems quite petty. Finally, upon receiving the bill, there was a charge at the bottom which indicated a 'Convenience Fee'. When I asked the waitress what this charge was for, she said it was a charge for using a credit card! So, basically, they're passing their credit card fees on to the customer, which is nothing new for any business. But, to actually see it now listed on the bill is very off-putting. You want to up your prices to reflect people using credit cards that's one thing, but to separate it out on the bill is another. It's not like we were informed ahead of time that if you pay cash you can save the 3% charge for using a credit card. Very tacky indeed. Again, we enjoy Bazin's and were some of those that helped keep them in business during Covid, but some things certainly have changed.
