Bazille - Nordstrom Town Center at Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
I went with my fiancé and his son for a birthday lunch hour later never checked on us never refilled and drinks I stated in advance that it was my fiancé’s birthday and they did nothing to acknowledge that they didn’t say happy birthday didn’t do anything like I requested
My mom and I have dinner at Bazille every few months and we love how fresh and delicious
their menu options are.
Whats most important is that the food is consistently outstanding and the waitresses are also excellent. The only thing that could be improved is hiring more mature greeters.
Have dined at Bazille many times, for both lunch & dinner. Never disappointed! Love their salads, and also enjoy the hummus appetizer, as well as the dinner entrees. This time had the Nicoise Salad with Grilled Salmon -- delicious! Treated ourselves to the white chocolate bread pudding for dessert, which we all shared - also delicious! The only negative - they used to serve lovely french bread with a hard crust, and this time, we were served doughy rolls. That won't stop us from going back, though!
While we normally love going to Bazille, we know the noise level is high and try to book a booth in the back of the restaurant to allow one to actually hold a conversation.
Unfortunately, the server assigned to us was extremely slow and non-attentive. This is a departure from the norm, as we've always thought the service to be professional and friendly, especially as the "season" is over, as it wasn't particularly crowded.
However, the crab stack, cilantro shrimp, and Asian chicken salads (3 of us) were excellent, as usual, so we will attribute the poor service to the server having a bad day, and will no doubt return, as it's also convenient for lunch or a snack while in Nordstrom
FYI: The bread was very doughy, not tasty, and basically not very good in contrast to bread served previously: crusty baguette! I hope the standards aren't falling?! We shall see, but if so, will mention it to management the next time.
Don't sit at table in bar area. Server doubles as bar tender. Service below the usual level we have received in past. Food usual good - not anything special. Restaurant is half way between my house and parent's house. So we go mostly because of location but do enjoy the restaurant.
It was a Saturday night, dead, no ambiance, the hostess was awkward towards us. Our server was non existent & disappeared in the back for long periods of time never refilling our drinks. We had to wait 15 minutes to even get her to run the check. We were about to leave w/out paying honestly since she didn't bother to return. The food was mediocre, that combined with the service & ambiance I won't be back or recommend.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. It's amazing to walk into a nice restaurant at 7:00 on a Saturday night in February in Boca Raton and be seated right away. Also, it's quiet enough to be able to have a conversation at the table without having to shout.
I really want to give you this an excellent review but don't want too many diners to know about this amazing restaurant sleeper. I like not having to wait for a table! But in all honesty regardless of its location this is one of the best bistro-like restaurants you'll find in town. Please go and give it a try! Please remember to tell them Hungry Al sent you…and leave me a table or bar stool please!
