Bazille - Nordstrom NorthPark Center Ratings and Reviews
Bazille has wonderful salads and peach iced tea and is great for lunch. Service is usually spotty and that was the case this time, too. No one refilled my tea when it was empty -- got a refill 20 minutes later after flagging down a server. Waiter disappeared for awhile. No one refilled my water. An odd guy stopped by our table and asked my friend if her food was ok, and it was, but he didn't introduce himself or otherwise speak and didn't ask me about my entree. Interesting.
Had lunch with 3 friends at Bazille and the service was irregular -- our waiter took our drink order, promptly delivered the drinks and then disappeared. Eventually we flagged down another waiter to take our order. The food was good, especially the salads, and we love the ginger-peach iced tea. We were celebrating the birthdays of 2 in our group, but found out that Bazille doesn't do a complimentary birthday cupcake or anything, so that was disappointing.
As always, the salads are the stars at Bazille at Nordstrom NorthPark. That's why my friends and I enjoy lunch there. We were celebrating a friend's birthday -- unfortunately Bazille does not offer a complimentary dessert for birthday celebrants, so you might want to take your special day elsewhere. But the salads were very good and we enjoyed our lunch.
I had the French dip with fries and it was fabulous! The prime rib was med rate and not fatty, I asked for extra horseradish and they brought me plenty to enjoy with every bite. The fries were thin crispy with sea salt n I think rosemary they were the perfect partner to the dip. I usually get the crab stack which is my go to but I'm changing it now.
Thank you for awesome experience time and time again.
Salads at Bazille-NorthPark are always delicious and I just love them! Brought a friend with me who had never been before, and she said she would definitely come back again! Our server was helpful and attentive. We sat in a booth by the windows so it wasn't as noisy as it is in the main area. Love the big windows, not so much the brown décor. It was all very nice!
I celebrated a belated Father's Day with my Dad on Sunday, June 25th because he was out of town on the actual day. My parents really like Bazille and dine there often. This experience, however, was a disappointment and way below standard.
The salmon was way overcooked and the chicken was not up to standard. It was clear that the two dishes should not have been served just by looking at them, especially the Salmon. They shouldn't have made it out of the kitchen. Two out of four meals had to be returned. The replacements were much better, but we had to wait for them to be redone. The bread pudding was slightly burnt on the edges and overdone in the center, but we didn't feel like returning it and it was generally OK. The Tuna Poke was very good, but, overall, Bazille's kitchen was clearly having problems on that Sunday.
The waitress was nice and well-meaning but a little bit frantic and asked repeatedly if the same plates could be removed from the table and if we would like more alcoholic beverages after having already declined.
Bazille can and should do better.
Bazille was closed on Easter Sunday so we were not able to participate -- don't understand why we were able to make a reservation if they were going to be closed. Other restaurants were open so we ate at Corner Bakery. We have eaten at Bazille several times and were extremely pleased, but I cannot rate them for this day.
