Bayside’s spacious, light-filled, waterfront dining spaces are one of Naples’ most sought-after party venues. While Bayside’s cuisine is the main attraction, its views are a complementary enticement. The charming water vistas of Venetian Bay … the Village of Venetian Bay offering a scene straight from Venice, Italy … and the dazzling hues from the setting sun are among the reasons Bayside is a favorite place for celebrations.

Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar Ratings and Reviews
This was our first time at Bayside and everything was excellent. Our server Kelly was very busy but she was prompt and attentive as if we were her only table to serve. The food was great. We had the smoked salmon appetizer which is relatively new and they asked for our review to pass on to the kitchen. It was excellent. We both had salmon for our main course and both enjoyed it. There are four choices of sauces to suit your personal preference.
I read that some diners found the upstairs noisy. Other people enjoy a higher sound level. As we walked from the covered area to our table in the open area it was somewhat quieter. You can have either louder or quieter by requesting either the open area or the covered area.
Best for view and ambience. Reviews raved about food, I did not think it was impressive at all. Ate outside which was lovely. Noise level in covered area/ yet considered outside was unbelievably loud. Avoid that. Although our server was attentive, she was obviously in a rush to leave - service was way too rushed and it showed. Reservation was early - 7 pm so not like it was end of night. Overall - beautiful setting but a tourist spot for sure.
Unfortunately, it was pouring rain so we could not enjoy the outdoor seating, nor the view, which I am sure is lovely on a clear evening or sunny day. Lovely restaurant with top-notch service. Menu has a good selection of different items as well, although very typical. We started with a margarita, which was delicious. Followed by sharing the beet and goat cheese salad, which is just ordinary. We ordered the scallops, which were perfectly cooked, over spinach risotto - just not that flavorful; and the blackened grouper (huge filet - thick, white, tasty) over cheesy grits (my husband loved them, me not so much) and asparagus. Both were composed plates, and very good portions. For dessert we shared the apple gallette with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. It was on puff pastry and plenty of apple filling - delicious. Next time, I would pass on the caramel sauce - it just didn't need it.
We had an excellent dinner on the deck near the bar. The service was great with just the right degree of attentiveness. Food selection was typical but our meals were well prepared, timely, nicely portioned and extremely tasty. We had the Brie appetizer which quite delicious with a wonderful mix of fruits and favors. Noise level was just right, lively but not so loud as to prevent a comfortable dinner conversation.
Great deal with half price bottle of wine! Bread and enters took a long time to come out. One meal was luke warm but server promptly responded.
Trainee seemed not to process info and did not follow thru . The server seemed incomberesti by the trainee. Evening was not up to Stonewood's standards.
