Bayonne is a lovely resturant. We had a 3 course lunch. It was excellent. I had Bayona salad with parmesan cheese, Pork Chops with grits and Smoked duck "PB & J" My meal was wonderful. Very unique, I never had anything like the PB & J. My husband had Muscles in green curry sauce , Scallops and chocolate cheese cake. He loved his choice of meal.

Chef Susan Spicer and co-owner Regina Keever have done a wonderful job in creating a space where inspired food is served in a perfectly "New Orleans" venue. Chef de Cuisine, Eason Barksdale is an outstanding addition to this storied restaurant. Every time I dine here I realize how good food can be!

The food is consistently excellent and the service is good. The restaurant is small and the outside area is lovely if temperatures allow. The only drawback is tables are close and sometimes conversation is a little difficult. It has long been a favorite of mine and my husband and can be relied upon for excellent menu options, food, wine, and service!

Bayona is my favorite restaurant in New Orleans and one of the best I've been to worldwide. Their food and service are both high-quality and unpretentious, and they never disappoint.

One of our favorities in NOLA. We come to NOLA 3 times a year for a week each and always make sure we have several meals at Bayona. Not the usual NOLA cuisine. We love how Susan's dishes blends so many flavors together. The Lunch fixed price and Sat specials are steals. Great value.
The staff is very attentive and helpful. Especially the ladies at the seating desk.
One suggestion. Like most NOLA restaurants, wines at Bayona can be pricy. We realize that wine prices like all over the country are needed to generate revenues for the restaurant. A suggestion. It could be useful to have a few wine specials each month. This could actually generate more sales as it would encourage patrons to order more wine by bottle instead of glass.

The dining room was welcoming and cozy, perfect for the two of us to celebrate our week in NOLA. AS others note, great wine selection. We especially liked the hard white (and he the blue and she the goat) on the cheese plate we took as an appetizer. The lamb was tasty and the rabbit dish uniquely offered two variations on one plate, a tasty roulade and nicely breaded leg. Desert was fantastic; we couldn't decide if the panna cotta was better, or the home made ice cream, and even deciding between the chocolate and vanilla was tough, as each had delightfully rich, lasting flavor. Our server skillfully balanced being friendly and professional, adding to very pleasant evening.
Some of the best fine dining I've had. Menu is unpretentious, ingredients are fresh and imaginative, food is plated beautifully and the service is friendly and respectful.

New Years eve
Service on front end was poor- we waited in the Lounge for over 20 mins and had to ask for cocktail service. Once seated the service was better. The food was extraordinary!
Our third trip to Bayona, and an outstanding New Year's Eve four-course meal with excellent choices and service! We'll be back again when in NOLA.
Poor service, clueless somelier
From the time we walked through the door it was an incredible experience! The staff was phenomenal, the dining room was stunning, and the food was incredible. I've admired Chef Spicer for years, it was amazing to finally eat at one of her restaurants. We had mussles, oyster gratin, garlic soup, duck breast (pictured), pork osso bucco (pictured), and the chocolate hazelnut ice cream (pictured). There's nothing bad to say. It was a wonderful time!
One of the best meals I have ever eaten! The fennel pepper crusted lamb loin is outstanding. Could not have asked for better service. I thoroughly enjoyed Bayona!

Had a rocky start as they didn't have our reservation (even though I had a confirmation #) due to a change from open table to resy 2d earlier. They made it work and the food and wine was tremendous. Hopefully their reservation issues will get worked out in future as rough starts like that make for tough things to overcome.
I’ve been to Bayona every time I’m in NOLA. It was wonderful as usual. The only glitch was the switchover from Open Table to Rezzie (??) and our reservation was deleted. Fortunately the restaurant had room.

Members of our group of six had not been to Bayona for a while and the Reveillon Menu looked wonderful. We were sorely disappointed. When we arrived for our 6:30 reservation at 6:20, we were asked to wait in the patio area, because one of our party was parking the car. The patio area was very crowded. There was no reason not to seat 5 of us a few minutes early. Our table was available. Reception seemed disorganized. Next, our server was unable to explain the menu items to us, something expected in a fine restaurant. We ordered both white and red bottles of wine. Instead of just providing each of us a glass for a red and a white, we were asked to choose which we planned to drink. Some of us wanted the option. The garlic soup, salmon, and osso bucco were mediocre. Only those who had the steak were happy with their main course. We sincerely hope Bayona will provide the quality and service that we all expected in the future.
