   The filet mignon was amazing! The sauce and the potatoes together was so melt-in-your-mouth delicious.. and who knew spaghetti can be so yummy... we had a great time. Nancy our server was a delight. We went on 4th of July evening with our little family got to sit outside with the beautiful view. Thank you for a beautiful evening with a delicious meal.

   Though Bay View had only re-opened the night before, due COVID-19 closure, and the fact they had to be quite simple on tables (tablecloth only, paper menus, etc), they did a wonderful job making me feel welcome. The food was delicious and made me wonder why I had missed this restaurant all these years! We will definitely be back for the delicious food, the warm hospitality, and the amazing view!

   First time out to a restaurant during covid. The bay view did a great job.. The food was wonderful, we had the filet mignon, the Hitchcock, the salmon, & veal. All were wonderful. The service was great !

   This restaurant, part of Inn at the Tides, is always a favorite. They do a great job with Apps, Entrees, and desserts. The view is up on the hill overlooking Bodega Bay, and if the evening weather cooperates, a seating on the deck is wonderful. Service is very attentive, with multiple staff assisting each other when needed. A quieter alternative to the equally nice restaurant on the wharf, which serves wonderful fresh seafood as well and has excellent service staff.

   You must go if you are in the area (or, of course, staying at Inn at the Tides where they give you 10% off your food bill!) We had an amazing meal. From the moment we checked in with the hostess Mary who took such good care of us throughout the evening. She not only opened the wine, but made my husband one of the best margaridas he's ever had. Nancy our server was just as impressive. We never wanted for anything. Everyone was professional, attentive, cheerful, fun and engaging. And the food - OMG! Who knew pasta (Paglia e Fieno) with procuitto, peas, spinach and a half a chicken could be so over the top good!! The chef sent out an appetizer crostini of whipped goat cheese that was to die for, as was the baked almond crusted brie. By the time desert came, we were busting, but could not forego the warm lava cake. All in all, an A+ all the way around. Thanks gang for a memorable meal.

    We visited during restaurant week and it was quite busy. Our waitress was sweet but the service was slow! Apparently the kitchen was backed up due to the volume. That said, everything we ordered was delicious!

    Bay View Restaurant is not the same as Tides Restaurant. The menu options are limited. The service was warm, kind, and the wait staff were outstanding. The food however was unexceptional- bad, except for a few of the appetizers. We will never visit again.

    Went for Valentine’s Day with my gf. All the staff were extremely attentive and kind. The hostess was making rounds handing out free roses and checking on everyone. Our waitress and busboy were both very nice and also continually checking on us. The ambiance was very romantic and the food was amazing as well. Highly recommend this place for Valentine’s Day as they make you feel like you’re the most important people in the room. Truly the best Valentine’s Day dinner I’ve had.

    We haven't eaten here in quite a while, but it remains an excellent, romantic spot. The room is quiet (despite a group at the bar, and a couple of large parties), and our table faced the ocean view (not a window table). After an amuse bouche of salmon mousse on light rye, with dill and a caper, we enjoyed the crab and avocado tower (my wife refused to share, alas) and the sweet fennel soup du jour. As my main, I had the salmon special, which was grilled perfectly, and accompanied by creme fraiche with truffle oil and a pea-based sauce that made for wonderful tastes. My spouse had the Dungeness crab and papardelle from the regular menu and was quite happy. A bottle of Trecini 2015 RRV Merlot was an excellent value at $46 (winery sells it for $40). Pleasantly full (portions are neither too small nor too large), we declined dessert. But a really delicious meal in a lovely setting.

    Excellent in every aspect. Crab avocado tower enough for two as a starter. Autumn salad was huge With roasted squash appple chèvre and delicate arugula. Halibut with tapenade very nice. Good wine list. Rey enjoyable dinner. We will return for the Wine Maker dinners. BTW the hotel was excellent too..spotless room..newspaper in the morning..fireplace with logs wine gift.. great job overall

    I love this place. The food is four-star and the service is warm and welcoming. I also love to stay at the hotel and have a couple of cocktails and be able to fall back into my room with the fireplace going and the view of the ocean. All in all the restaurant is part of an amazing experience

    We are locals and we live coming here. Always great ambience. Our server, Fletcher is amazing!!! The lobster bisque was divine!! Caesar salad had local fresh crab on top.... YUM!!! See you guys again soon!!! Thank you!!!

    We were there for Christmas afternoon meal. Service was slow despite not being busy. Food was bland. Air-conditioning was on and vent blowing directly on us. They turned it off for a short while when we asked, but was back on again by the end of our meal. Music was too loud and played same classical track over and over. I would not recommend a holiday meal here.

    Delicious meals. Upscale dining. A few window tables. Pleasant service. Primarily Italian with some housemade pastas, but also some steaks, seafood, etc, intriguing salads, and a very ample and enticing dessert menu!! We totally enjoyed our experience there.

    We have eaten here twice and both times the food and service was very good. It’s a nice, relaxing restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay. The hostess, Stacy, goes out of her way to make sure you’re comfortable; the servers are friendly and efficient as well.

    Wife and I visited on Thursday evening based on reviews and ordered appetizer, salad and main courses, Petaluma Chicken and grilled King Salmon. Service personnel were professional and attentive. Food prep and presentation very good but flavors/seasoning were just okay, disappointing especially considering the cost.

    Worst experience Ive had in a long time...The waiter made a multitude of mistakes including not putting in beverage orders and not picking them up when they were ready. Worse than that it took 45 minutes to get a appetizer ( and they werent full ) over an hour to get a salad .. and then after 75 minutes the main course arrived and one of the entrees was not the entree ordered . When I relayed that info to him ge grabbed the wrong entree and disapeared . I then spoke to the manager and instead of her trying to get me my meal she brought me the bill .. I mean are you kidding me .. Will not ever go back and will certainly warn people how bad they are , Terrible

    The signature Grilled Filet Hitchcock did not disappoint. Halibut was also very good. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and provided good menu recommendations. We will return!
