   His scallops and my sea bass with lobster were perfectly prepared. Chef Kevin’s mashed potatoes are worth the trip alone! Our server, Macy, kept our our Prosecco glasses filled and was attentive throughout our meal. Bay Street Bistro is our favorite restaurant in Lakeland!

    We got there 15 minutes early and the restaurant had mo problem accommodating us. The server Darien was excellent and very friendly. We started with the mussels and they were tasty. Our main meals came timely and everything was prepared perfectly. My wife had pan seared scallops on risotto with asparagus and I had the beef wellington and both were delicious. Great night for an anniversary.

    First time experience at Bay Street Bistro. Phenomenal experience as it made a very special evening for my sister‘s birthday. The food was delicious. They are generous with portions and there was no resistance when we wanted to split an entrée. This is the caliber of restaurant you would drive to Orlando or Tampa to experience. We are blessed to have such a special restaurant in Lakeland. Thank Bay Street Bistro for a wonderful experience !

    My wife had the sea bass with braised spinach while I enjoyed the bronzed sea bass with peach compote. We complemented t those fantastic dishes with a bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay. In our opinion no one prepares seafood better than Chef Kevin.

    Bay Street Bistro has been my go to spot for over 10 years. Birthdays, anniversaries or just a night out. Kevin never disappoints with his cooking or presentations. James is always there with a wine recommendation and the wait staff is well schooled in serving and pampering.

    I had high hopes after seeing the menu, but the food just didn't deliver. The baked bree needed an acid, I think. My herb crusted lamb was great, but the sides were just ok. For the price, I expected much better.

    A favorite Special Place - We have visited the Bay Street Bistro several times, often for special occasions, sometime to entertain visiting guests or just to get out for a nice meal.... The restaurant never disappoints.... The food and wine selection is great and the food is always exceptional... Service is good, our hostess was Skyler who was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us time to enjoy our meal.. A very pleasant experience, we'll be back..

    Highly enjoyable evening. It was fantastic, as always. Ordered the sea bass special with lobster. Fish was cooked perfectly and delicious. Jackie was our waitress. So happy to find that out as she was our waitress last time and she is probably one of the best waitresses there is. Will be sure to always request her when making the reservation.

    The caprese salad and sea bass were decent. The risotto and veggies were just okay and had no flavor. It was overpriced for what we ordered. The service was good. Probably wouldn’t return. It was so loud I couldn’t hear my dining companion speak.

    Excellent food prepared for each order. Owner always on the spot. Apps, Salads, Entrees, and Desserts are top notch. Probably our 8-10 visit. We live out of state but always eat here when visiting.

    Our daughter and son in law live in Lakeland and have dined at Bay Street Bistro numerous times. They highly recommended it for our date night. What an amazing fun delicious experience. The atmosphere is pretty and romantic. Our waitress was polite attentive and so friendly. Okay and out dinner. The menu offers unique things you do not often have an opportunity to have. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic. The food was prepared to perfection and the portions were abundant. Stuffed portobello that was unique snd sinfully good. Caesar salad great tomato bisque the best I’ve ever had. Beef Wellington was beyond description and my husband had duck medallions that he loved. The sauces on both entrees were so so tasty. There are so many other things we want to try, Bay Street Bistro is now my first choice for date nights. Thank you so much

    We love it here. The chef is talented and consistent. Wait staff are always well informed of the specials which tend to be really creative and quite delicious. Desserts are wonderful. Respectable wine list. A solid experience every time.

    This is a little known gem in downtown Lakeland. Great food and service. It may seem pricey at first, but a big piece of sea bass with risotto and vegetables and bread and a good sized Caesar salad, price was reasonable. Well worth it. A n d very good

    One of the three best restaurants in Lakeland, if not the best. Started with the stuffed portobello mushroom. It mixed Parmesan cheese with a mild Italian sausage, delightful. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and the red wine reduction sauce added a savory element to the juicy and tender prime filet. This is always the best steak in town. The two sides, mixed vegetables and Parmesan risotto were the perfect compliment to a very fine meal.

    Girlfriend selected this fine restaurant for her birthday dinner. Did not disappoint. The food brought to our table went beyond our flavor expectations. I even stopped by the kitchen to thank the chef in person for such a wonderful meal. Our service professional, Skyler, was attentive and very pleasant. She made the meal even better with her amazing personality. My only issue was their need to place tables within four feet of the large entrance door. As folks entered, the wind rush from the street hit those of us sitting at one of these two two-seat tables. If there were any unpleasant odors outside, we were subjected to them. I understand their need to accommodate as many hungry patrons as possible in such a small area. Maybe allow a space expert to look at your seating area to help you maximize your patronage. Other than this minor inconvenience, this night was perfect.
