This is a classic Vegas restaurant, located just a block off the strip. Some of the staff have been there for more than 30 years! We were in town for a couple days and got a reservation for Friday night which was perfect. The dinners are complete - even including red & white wine with every order. I had the ziti with meat sauce while my companion had the chicken fettuccine, both were very good. In fact, we even took some leftovers with us for lunch the next day.
Highly recommended if you want an authentic experience, and it's fun to look around the restaurant and try to identify the people in all the photos.

The food is good, and the portions are gigantic! While at first glance the prices might sound a bit steep for pasta, when you consider that you also get a huge salad, garlic bread, and wine included, you realize it's a very good deal! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Battista’s was always one of our favorites. Have not been there in a few years and the service has gone dramatically down hill. Several times we had to remind a waiter that we were there. The sad thing was that it was not an extraordinarilly busy night. Maybe just understaffed. So many great eateries in Vegas. I will not return to Battista’s.

Except for main course, we were disappointed with overall experience. We hosted out of town guests who wanted a unique Vegas place for dinner. We made reservations and arrived early. We were crammed into a tiny booth and felt herded like cattle through the dinner. Being a Vegas resident, I was disappointed. Battista's had their time in the limelight but other places go far beyond.

Went to dinner for hubby’s birthday after riding the High Roller. Veal Marsala & Chicken Parm was delicious. Came with a large salad, side of pasta (which I requested gluten free .. delicious) and yummy Cappichino with whipped cream. They also gave the birthday boy a brownie and whipped cream with a candle in it. We all enjoyed our dinner experience and will surely return when we return again.

Cheap wine and cheaper "frozen dinner" food, except for the grilled chicken, which was actually pretty good, followed by a powder mixed cappucino for $31 a person. Have to sy, the atmosphere is pretty cool. The service was good.

This restaurant was highly recommended to us. We were very disappointed. Our ‘reservation’ was only a suggested arrival as we waited another 30 minutes for our table. The only option for drinks we were given was the awful table wine and water. The salad and soup was pre-made sitting in a cafeteria cart? 3 out of 4 of us barely touched our meals as the pasta was over cooked and the meals were cold. This was the first time we have never left a tip. We just wanted anyone to care. It’s evident that people come based on the history and ambiance and not the food and service. So disappointed we wasted one of our Vegas nights dinner on this restaurant. DON’T do it!

I've been here a couple times over the years, it's become a favorite. Authentic Italian, a traveling accordion musician, and wine... that along with affordable pricing is a recipe for a good time.

Awesome all around. One of the best Italian restaurants we have been too. Make sure you come on an empty stomach. The free flowing wine was actually quite nice and included with your meal bottomless. Y hubby even drank the cappuccino and he doesn’t drink coffee. What a great experience. Right by the Linq Ferris wheel. It’s a must when you are in Vegas.

This place is classic Vegas -- meaning it is what it is, for better and worse, and you have to roll with it to enjoy it. The atmosphere is charmingly (or horribly) old school with faded framed photos of celebrities of yesteryear and genuine kitsch (as opposed to modern kitsch like at the Venetian). It's a local staple -- when I told the elderly valet at our hotel where we were going, he said, "that's a man who knows his way around. You can pay $300 for dinner or $35 and get the same meal." Well, not quite. The menu is limited to a sample of Italian American (emphasis on American) classics -- for example, chicken or veal parmigiana with a side of fairly ordinary pasta in red sauce. The salad is "Italian" because they toss some salami and peperoncini in it. It's like decent diner food in New Jersey or upstate New York, which is to say, better than many other Vegas options. The wine is mediocre but you can drink as much as you want. It's a fun experience, a good change of pace from casino restaurants and I'm glad we went once.

A nice little hidden restaurant. The place is always busy so make sure you have reservations. The soup is lukewarm I think to make sure it doesn't take you too long to eat it but it is tasty. We asked for more bread and the busboy said sure, when we saw him ten minutes later , we asked him again, he said he knows and that it will come out with the meal. The place is really cool and old school. We always go there and have a good time. If you're someone that needs attentive service this might not be for you. The first time we saw the waiter he says do you know what you want.

When I want Italian, Battista's is exactly the kind of place I'm looking for. The menu has everything you're likely to want from an Italian restaurant, including a few vegetarian options. They serve every meal with bottomless garlic bread, a choice of soup or salad, and cap it all off with a delicious cappuccino with a healthy dollop of fresh whipped cream on top. The portion sizes border on huge and make sharing easy. And, most importantly, everything was delicious. The chicken parmagianna was fabulous, and even came with a side of your choice of pasta, as well as creamed spinach.

If that wasn't enough, the service was also impeccable and a wonderful accordion player traveled from table to table the night I was there. We sat near a group of folks who mentioned that they'd been coming to Battista's since the 1980s! I can definitely see why.

We actually ate at Battista's a day earlier. I love the place, and make it a must on every trip to Las Vegas. Whomever I bring with me loves the place, the food, the experience. Gordie the
90-something accordionist is a Vegas classic, and the waiters will not reveal the secret behind
the spaghetti sauce. For a piece of old Vegas on the strip, there is no comparison.

We visit Battista's every time we come to Vegas. It is our favorite Italian restaurant here. The authentic Italian food is always great. The prices are reasonable, especially considering that they include soup/salad, cappuccino, all the red or white wine you can drink, as well as an ample (and delicious) entre. My daughter claimed that the salad was the best she'd ever had. I'm sure we'll come back the next time we're in Las Vegas.

I visit every time I am in Las Vegas. The food generally is mediocre, but the ambience makes it totally worth it. For this visit I had the steak Caruso, and it was amazing. Best food I have had here.

The unlimited wine is barely drinkable, but I love this place anyway. Foodies can order a proper wine, and the rest of us can drink cheap wine for a reasonable price. I do find the white more palatable than the red.

Definitely make a reservation, it is worth it.

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious authentic Italian cuisine, friendly and efficient staff. Loved "Gordie" visiting each table singing and playing his accordion. It was a very relaxing and fun evening. Dinner included salad or soup, entrée, wine with dinner and a cappuccino following dinner and, of course, delicious warm Italian bread. All for approximately $25.00!! Can't be beat!! Would highly recommend.
