Was recommended by a co worker whose been a few times, when in town on business. Overall the food was okay. Waitress was very attentive. The older gentlemen “who we were told has been there many many many years” walked by, stopped, and played a quick tune. He did this for every table. We did not have any small cash and nor did we ask him to stop by. He got very rude and testy when we told him this. He insisted on money and called us cheap. I’d probably return in the future, but beware of the money heckler.
We had a nice time. Food was good cappuccino was fantastic! Service was excellent!
Best Italian ever. We were told about the restaurant by family member and were not disappointed.
It was an amazing experience and I would recommend this place to anyone. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great!!
This was a fantastic meal! The food was outstanding.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I always dine at Battista's with our without my family . I always enjoy the meal.
We stumbled upon this fun and enjoyable place when in Vegas last and will always return when we come to visit. We always bring new friends to expand the clientele.
Includes endless wine, soup or salad and tons of garlic bread with each entre. Meals $25 to $35 and all large portions.
Great value in a casual setting, lots of food and bottomless red and white wine. Can't beat this value.
This is our favorite Vegas find! The food is great and the prices aren't bad at all for being in Vegas. Our two favorite things? The free wine and the adorable little man going around to each table playing his accordion. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we had a great time!
Food was excellent and very quick service. The history of this place could take hours to look at in the walls. Wine was OK, but hey, it was free!! Cappuccino is dessert!
Amazing as always!! I have to go every time I am in town!
It is a wonderful place. I couldn't find any fault with it.
Good times! Great atmosphere!
I felt a little rushed and the tables seamed to be smaller than normal
Great experience all around!
We absolutely love Battista's Hole in the Wall! Every time we go to Las Vegas, it is a must that we have dinner there. As always, the food was fabulous, and the service was great. We were there on one of Gordy's nights off, and were so sorry we missed him. Every time we go, he plays The Missouri Waltz for us since we are from Missouri. He is delightful!
We are already looking forward to our next trip so we can enjoy Battista's once again!
I have been there a few times now and really love it! I will make it a point to stop there every time I’m in Las Vegas.
Good food, friendly staff who made you feel special. The Accordion player was a nice touch for a memorable evening celebrating 30 years of marriage for my wife and I.
We thought it was great!
We have been visiting this restaurant for years, and my husband takes his clients there whenever he is in Vegas. Last week was no exception. I ordered the mussels, for the first time, wanting to try something new. They were just flat out, not good. They were too large and the sauce tasted metallic. Our server never came back to see how we were doing and when they came to collect the plates, I did inform them that the dinner didn’t taste well and the only response was “did you inform your server?” I advised it’s hard t inform someone who never checked back. Food was taken off the bill, with our suggestion, and management never stopped by our table.
Loved it!!! A real feel for Old Vegas! Food was great n the little things were perfect!!! High marks
Such a great find in Vegas. I was recommended this place by a Vegas veteran, and it did not disappoint. Just a block off the strip, it's hidden away (hence the name) to avoid the main tourist crowd and keep it charming and quaint. Inside is like you've stepped in a time warp and into old Italy (or old Vegas). Softly lit and cozy setting, great for casual or special occasions, especially date nights. The service is wonderful. Everyone's very nice and you're never in need of anything. And the food... love it. It's not high-end or fancy, but good comforting Italian fare. First off, you get free wine... FREE UNLIMITED WINE. As soon as you sit down, they ask you red or white (or both if you ask nicely) and they bring you a carafe of very good house wine. Then you choose an entree. Which each comes choice of salad or soup (I LOVED the salad -- the dressing was delicious) and unlimited fresh garlic bread (addicting). If that wasn't enough, the meal ends with a perfect little cappuccino. All for an average of $30/person. If that's not old Vegas magic, I don't know what is. You'll leave this place tipsy, full, and happy (and still with money to spare for the casinos).
This was my second visit to Battista's. It was great! The food is authentic and you can't beat free wine with your meal!
Great food, wine, service and atmosphere! We love Battistas, look forward to going again!
Set menus. Come prepared for a lot of food. Lasagna and veal parmagania were the two dishes we ordered with a side of sausage. Meals come with two carafes of wine (nothing to write home about) and Italian salad( very fresh and tasty) and cuppacinno (very sweet).
Service was excellent by our server Eric. Made very good recommendations. Nice touch with the elderly man coming around with the accordion. Front desk hostess has to be a little more pleasant if she wants to work in the service industry in Vegas.
When in Vegas you have to try this place. Good food for good value. Just off the strip and easy access from the monorail.
Made my Birthday special.
Unlimited house wine is not bad (it’s similar to “grocery store boxed”), food is great, service is outstanding! Overall, great for the value. You will not leave hungry, my hubs & I shared the lasagna and still couldn’t finish. Would definitely go again!
I have been coming here for 40 plus years when we visit from Colorado. We came to celebrate my friends birthday and it was great once again! We love the accordion player!!
A great value. House carafe wine included with the meal as well as an Italian salad, delicious garlic bread & cappuccino. We first dined here in 1976 & 3 Times since. Consistent good Italian standards.
Love this place always worth a visit!!
What a cute, vintage spot. You get a LOT of food for the price, plus unlimited wine, which was average quality. Service is efficient. My chicken Rio had a great white wine creamy mushroom sauce. Rich and satisfying. An adjacent table's chicken parm looked wonderful. My husband's chicken alfredo was also very good. Gordon, the accordion player, was so charming. I bet he's been there since it opened in 1970! I can't believe I've never eaten here in all the times I've visited Las Vegas.
Excellent service and delicious food!
Quick service- good food - lots! Cappuccino was a great dessert after the amount of food we ate. The garlic bread was freshened frequently and wine was surprisingly not too bad. Very good value and recommend reservations. Was worried we wouldn’t hear our names called as was quite crowded at the waiting area but they are pros at it and have a speaker announcement. All and all a good experience just off the strip. Second time there and would go again.
I was very excited to try this placed based off the reviews but was very disappointed. The atmosphere was interesting and unique. The service was great. The food, not so much.
I had ziti with meatballs and the Minestrone soup for a starter. Everything tasted like it was from cans. Even the garlic bread seemed like what you get from the grocery store.
My colleague ordered the veal picatta and only took one bite.
I could not recommend this place for the food whatsoever.
I’ve never had a bad server in all the years I’ve been going till this time. I think they had the bus boy wait on us because there was a large party that took all of the servers attention. He was a little guy with absolutely no personality who acted like he was rushing us out of there. I look forward all year planning my trip to Vegas every year and have never missed going to Batista’s. He never refilled our water and never asked us if we wanted desert. The food is the best, and usually so is the service. Not this time
A must in Vegas!
