Battista's Hole in the Wall
Excellent restaurant in all ways food, setting staff, only issue is we had a very load customer next to us that even after 3 requests didn't lower the volume level. Even his friends where upset he really upset about 4 tables around him. Not your fault but it hurt the overall expierence
Pleased to experience the same authentic Italian cuisine and excellent service as presented by the previous owners.
I thought the food was great but not worth the amount you pay I assume the price is to cover the complimentary wine all in all I’d say I enjoyed myself and would recommend this place
Disappointing. We went there for my fiance's birthday. The prices are expensive for mediocre food ($23-$36 per person)and they offer "unlimited wine and bread" but the wine is bad and they barely come to bring you more.
Fantastic food and wonderful service! Best Italian food I’ve had in a long time.
Great food, friendly staff, & service. Will definitely go back next time in Vegas.
Add me to the list of those that love "The Hole in the Wall." Truly a must if you want to experience the original Las Vegas Strip.
Excellent service. Average food. Fair pricing. Great parking. Easy to find. Comfortable seating. Healthy atmosphere.
Delicious and our waiter was very friendly
It was our first visit and we were very pleased. The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding.
Table d'hote menu posted on the walls. All meals include choice of soup or salami, 1/2 liter of red or white wine, main course, and capuccino. However, the quality is poor. Italian salad had pieces of sliced deli meat.
Wine surely was a cheap boxed wine. Tomatoe sauce tasted like it came out of a can. And the capuccino served is actually hot chocolate. Not a trace of espresso.
This place is a family tradition for special events and birthdays-- it has been since the '90's.
Last night we celebrated my daughter's 34th birthday and introduced her boyfriend to all that is Batista's. We were especially thrilled to be entertained by Gordy --may he live forever!
The food, as anticipated, was super yummy. The service was impeccable. The environment is fun and kitchy.
The only thing I can ask for is a better Moscato option in the bar. That's it. Everything else is exactly as it should be.
We have stopped here during every Las Vegas trip we make! The fun authentic ambiance is great for groups or romantic dinners. The value can’t be beat and we highly recommend the homestyle Italian food!
Love it here. A must if going to LasVegas!!
It’s a great place with homemade pasta and a price fix price for meals.
All include a carafe if white or red wine. Soup/salad and entree.
Complete with a cappuccino for dessert.
The accordion player is a little old man that has been there for decades. You want him to stop at your table!!! Trust me!!
Great value for what you get! I’ve been to Vegas many times but it was our first visit here. A great place for couples right off the strip that won’t break the bank like many Vegas places. We had a little wait even with a reservation but it was totally worth it. Our favorite foods were the garlic bread and cappuccino although everything was very good. Lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs were our main entrees. Don’t miss this place if you are in Vegas and want a reasonable romantic dinner!
Battista is the definition of comfort food!! Conveniently situated, just off the Strip, exceptional service, warm and hearthy italian food, it really is a must!!
This place is one of our favourite places to eat. The food and service never disappoint!!
We were two couples visiting Vegas and like the sound of Battista’s based on the website and reviews. We decided to try it, it was everything it was advertised. We had a good italian meal at a fair price. Our only complaint was the cappuccino was really hot chocolate.
Great food with good service from the friendly professional staff.
Lived in Las Vegas 12 years ago when I was introduced to Battista’s. I fell in love with the place, people and food so I always recommend to all my friends who visit.
Battista's does not disappoint! The experience (and it is an experience) is authentic Italian cooking with an outpouring of Italian hospitality. This trip I was able to bring some Italian relatives with me and they loved it. We were six adults and two children. The cost was low to moderate (minimum $13 per person, not including the children). The menus are posted on the walls and before we even ordered the waiters put a carafe of wine on the table and asked how many wanted soup and how many wanted salad. We were literally eating before we ordered. Almost every major chef in the world has a presence in Las Vegas and Battista's will still be a must experience when we visit the town. The restaurant is located off the strip; barely. It is in a strip mall one block east of South Las Vegas Blvd., behind the Cromwell at the intersection of Flamingo Road and South Linq Lane. HIGHLY recommended.
A lovely location in Las Vegas for a delightful dinner!
Wonderful. This place is like stepping back in time. The wine is never ending and the food is very good.
The food was delicious. Our server, Eric disappeared for long periods of time. We enjoyed the accordion player.
Fantastic Las Vegas old school Italian restaurant. Wine included with your very tasty meal. What could be bad?
Our two dinners were served 10 minutes apart, when we finally received the second the first was luke warm, waiter made apologies, but what started as a special dinner, was not.
Unique Italian dining experience. Ambiance of old Italy and old Vegas. Great dinner.
19 years ago we bought R E property right right next to it sight unseen.
So we stumbled literaly upon it.
Love the place.
Don’t book New Years.
You might get my table.
Wine and Capacino included.
Service by a very friendly and attentive staff is alesys a pleasure.
The photos on the walls of old Vegas celebs that visited here makes for a good memory lane and gives it the non-corporate, family dining experience some cherish.
Probably just the way
Mr. Battista is now famous for.
Excellent food, wine and service. Will definitely return.
Always a great experience! Chicken parmesan was fantastic.
Cool atmosphere. Great food and service!
Come here every time we are in town. It is always a good experience.
Food was really good. Service was short and cut from the server. I loved the accordion player, but he does the spiel for every table. Will try again and see how a different server changes the experience. The vibe and morale seemed to be much of the same though.
We have been to Vegas many times before and we have friends that live in the area as well. We always talked about going. So we finally made our reservation with my local friends and we loved it.
First time to try and we will return to eat anytime we are in Vegas. Great good!
Love Gordy! Great experience overall!!! had the Osso Bucco special and it was fabulous!
Very average. Waiter seemed overwhelmed with too many tables. Wine was very weak tasting, like water. Expensive for average food.
Food is absolutely amazing here. The service was very slow and our waiter did hardly anything. Not very personable either. You would expect a better waiter at such a great restaurant.
We loved the accordion player. He was very entertaining.
Seating was quick service was excellent.
