The lady who served us on April 18, 2018 was very pleasant, kind and efficient in her work. The best one we have had so far. Our thanks to her. And so with 2 other people who served our meals. The washroom was clean. The ambience and layout of the restaurant is conducive to fine dining.

The maitre D was not very friendly. Our waitress was good but you could she that she was being run off her feet as they were obviously understaffed. She kept apologizing for lack of attention to us. You could see several other staff just milling around. We had three people over 80 and they stuck us in the back dark corner up some stairs. Difficult for the elderly to get back there. Front of restaurant was empty. Our reservation was for a Wednesday at 5:30.

Oleg was excellent as always. He really is a great host, so welcoming and knowledgeable... We had a really great romantic evening, and the seafood linguini was incredible. I especially loved our Pinot Noir and our virgin pina coladas... I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The service was excellent. The ribs are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. No complaints.

Overall the food was good except for the cold mash potatoes we received with our meal. It was rectified immediately though once we told the server. The service was good except when someone orders pasta, the server should have asked if they wanted Parmesan as opposed to trying to hail the server down and ask for it.

Booked on open table. got there and waiting 2 minutes, perfect. food was great and very ample. great wine list, unique specials, stuff you dont cook at home. Well worth a repeat, note free parking

The ambiance in this historic building was second to none. Elegant warm and inviting.

We were seated in a quiet booth and were able to talk and enjoy our dining experience.
Servers were efficient and friendly but not overbearing.
The menu is versatile and very well presented.
The biggest surprise was the quality and presentation of the steak dinners. Taste was the best we have had in 10 years. I have been to traditional main stream steak houses and your products was hands down the best.
Our appreciation to your culinary staff.

Was looking forward to a nice new years eve meal. There were 8 in our party. Almost everything was bad. They ran out of the rib steak that two of us wanted. Another steak that was ordered well done was literally bleeding on the plate. It was sent back but had still not returned to us even after most of us had finished our meals. We then cancelled the order and just ordered a simple order if fries. They arrived to the table burnt and cold. The mixed drinks were terrible. Worst Tom Collins ever. Sent it back but was still charged. Rum and coke had flat coke. Pina Colada was not consumable. We ordered three strawberry daiquiris and all three came in different sized glasses.
They were also out of some of their deserts. When the deserts that they still had started to arrive they came two at a time so it took a good fifteen minutes for all to arrive. Oh and forgot to mention that the coffee that only some of us got even though we all ordered was well gone before the deserts even started arriving.
Its not like this was cheap! We dropped about $550 for everything.
We asked for the manager. When he came to our table ( without introducing himself) we had to guess who he was.
He ended up giving us $150 gift card but i doubt we will use it.
Very disappointed!

ordered chicken with cooked peppers and zucchini, veg cold chicken baked potato luke warm. think mine done before others and sat waiting to be served. Waiter fantastic food and kitchen blah!!!

The service was ok. My filet mignon was delicious but our appetizer which was a caeser salad, there was too much dressing in it and the “creme brûlée” was very small and not that good.

I was invited to try Baton Rouge in Scarborough again with my family on New Year's Eve and we all thought the food was excellent. Four us really enjoyed the ribs and sweet potatoe fries, my wife had the salmon and she said it was really delicious. The portions were good, we all had left-over ribs for a midnight snack. I'll definitely be coming back!

Seated quickly but waiters forgot to bring mayo for clubhouse and no water refills although both were requested. They were out of peppermint tea after we ordered it but came back with the available assortment

Steaks are fine but the so-called signature back ribs were totally burnt like charcoal.... A bit disappointed.

The service was mediocre....nobody even approached our table for the first 10 minutes we were there and finally when we did get a server who seemed friendly and then our servers were switched without even letting us know. The lady who then came to serve our table seemed completely out of it as if she was extremely tired or completely uninterested. Then when we ordered our food our server came back to inform us that our chicken was ready but our baked potato was not so can she bring us mashed potatos instead an then bring out baked potato after...nobody in their right mind wants to eat that many potatos in one sitting....when we finally got our food it was good but for the price i paid for that service i dont think i will be returning

The service and food was good. My only complaint is that the ribs were surprisingly small, used to be a lot bigger.

I have been to this location before but I was disappointing that I made a reservation for a birthday and no one even mention it throughout the dinner. What was the purpose of reserving a special when no one take the time to respond to it

we went there for lunch and had $10 special for ribs and fries. Since we always get the ribs, we thought we had picked a great day to come for ribs. We were so disappointed. the ribs were hard, they didn't fall off the bone! The manager came over and apologized and said that he also checked the kitchen and said that he noticed the ribs hard as well.. He gave us $20 gift card and compensated our apps as well. This was our 2nd time going to this location, and had 2 bad experiences here. We will not be using the gift card as we will not be going to this location again......we usually go to the location in Vaughan or Richmond Hill and they never disappoint.

Well, what can I say! This restaurant was the worst of all Baton Rouge locations. My husband and I ordered the prime rib -- it didn't look like prime rib (seems like the cook grilled it too) and it sure didn't taste like it. My fries were cold. My husband got a container of "au jus", but I didn't. My son ordered the ribs -- so small and didn't "fall off the bone" at all. My daughter in law ordered the chicken tenders. She said it didn't taste like chicken -- it was passed around the table and we all agreed. My husband thought it might be fish....??? We sent it back and ordered the hamburger instead. On the bright side, the calamari was good. The bill came to $250 and we WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY BATON ROUGE again.

Service was good, attentive server. The side of vegetables with two of the entrees were extremely undercooked to the point of being raw and inedible. I do prefer al dente veggies but these were raw. I asked the server to inform the kitchen. No adjustments were offered on our bill.

Food was very good, ok end of ribs was a BIT overdone. But food was great. Service was wonderful.
But am completely mistyfied WHY people next to us thought it was ok for both of them to be on their phones, playing videos of some sort with their speaker volume up?

We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and wanted a great meal before attending a show downtown and this lovely restaurant was on the way. It was a Tuesday evening, so the place was not busy. We were a few minutes early for our reservation, but found our table ready and the genial host welcomed us warmly.
Prime rib is a favourite of both my wife and I, and we were pleased with the perfect preparation and presentation. We ordered a side of mushrooms and were amazed at the quantity!
Everything was spot on and we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. After dinner, the host gave us a brief tour of the multi-level building. There was obvious pride in delivering good service in a warm and richly toned establishment. It would be a go to place if we lived closer.

The Baton Rouge Rib dinner is the best. The brownie dessert was also delicious!

The Friday lunch special ($10 for ribs) was a great deal. I'll most definitely be back.
