Bass Street Chop House
Bass Street Chop House offers the Quad Cities, private dining spaces for special events and a full service bar. The Chop Bar offers signature cocktails, extensive wine, bourbon, single malt scotch collection, as well as a Chop Bar Menu featuring outstanding sandwiches.
Food was over priced. While good you can get the same quality for less in the Quad Cities.
Great pork chop and sides. Drinks were perfect and service was great. Loved being able to eat outside still!!
We always have a great dinner and evening out at Bass Street. Excellent place.
Warm reception with Robin and excellent server with Miranda who was great! We thought the beef tips were overcooked and a very small serving but with an excellent sauce. The double boned pork chop was salty and tasted like ham. Desserts were wonderful!
The steaks were superb and cooked to our preferences. The blue cheese potatoes are addictive.
Service is top notch. Management is attentive and professional.
We’ll be back.
Once again the most fantastic service and food! They accommodated our last minute reservation without problems. We have been coming here for 24 years and every Christmas buy gift certificates for our employees. The best restaurant in the Quad-Cities by far! Even though we turned vegan in February, they continue to be so gracious to us and offer an array of side dishes for our enjoyment. You will never be disappointed here!
Excellent service and food
Nice ambience. Great wine list. Steaks not as seared as they used to be but overall very good food.
We ate here a month ago. Food on that occasion was better than tonight.
Hostess told us to sit at the bar to wait for our table. Then proceeded to forget about us and when brought to her attention, claimed she didn’t know we were there. Food was good yet expensive.
Food was low quality for the price, our server was kind but slow - for example we had empty water glasses for 30-40 minutes before they were filled- other guests were getting alcoholic beverages filled while we waited for our water… The plus side was the the view from the patio area was very pretty!
We actually arrived early, 4pm, so there were maybe 10 or 15 tables spread out but our meal was FANTASTIC!! Service was FANTASTIC we just had a FANTASTIC experience!!! Don't recall our waitresses name but the King cut prime rib and Pork Chop were PERFECT ...
This is one of our favorite spots for dinner. All of the dishes are delicious and the service is always amazing.
Nice outside patio with a beautiful view. Nice lunch menu and good service.
Food is delicious but last 2 times we have been there have had a very long wait time on drinks.
Service was very slow. We were prompt at our reservation time. They were slow to seat us. 20 minutes to get water. 15 minutes to get wine. Slow to take our order. It took an hour and 45 minutes for the meal inspite of us knowing what we wanted to order at first opportunity. The food was hit and miss. Carrot-ginger soup seemed to lack ginger or any discernable spice. Salad and crab-cakes were good. Sea Bass is was fishy. With the highest prices in the region, I expected better. There are restaurants we frequent that have similar atmosphere, consistently good service and consistently good food for less than half the price.
Met friends from out of town before concert. Great proximity to venue! Food and service exceeded expectations.
Another fantastic meal and service!
Took forever to get drinks & apps, entrees came out at least 1 hour after ordering, side dishes came out after we finished entree.
Another fantastic meal and service!
We had a 6 p.m. reservation with the follow up plan of attending a concert literally next door to the restaurant. The hostess was not very welcoming and seemed a bit over her head. After taking your name and reservation you are directed off to the left of the hostess station with 5 or 6 other couples...they need some type of waiting queue to relieve some of the confusion. We were seated at 6:20, server was very pleasant but obviously overwhelmed. We ordered burgers so that we could make the show....took almost 45 minutes to get them. Food was good but that is a long time to wait for burgers. We each ordered another beverage while waiting for our food and that took another 15 or 20 minutes to arrive. We asked for our check when the food came as it was now 7:20. Might be time to try Johnny's again.
Attending a concert right Nextdoor to the restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant in the Quad-Cities! Always fantastic meals and service. The owner said hi to me by name as soon as I entered the door!
The steak was like sizzler and it took over 30 min for drinks. We also we never received the mushrooms that we ordered! We will not be back!
The waiter was nice but after we got our food he never checked on us until after we were done. We ran out of drinks middle if dinner.
The food was flavorless and our steak was under cooked.
Will not be returning.
My wife and I enjoyed our experience at Bass Street Chop House. We asked to be seated outside and had a nice view of the Mississippi River. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. We then walked awhile on the River trail. Will return on next visit.
In the months since Bass Street has re-opened they have hit their stride! While a busy Saturday night, we were seated promptly and greeted by our waiter - the bartender Don as we sat in a booth in the bar - soon after for our drink order. This was a special occasion as our son made his first trip from DC since Covid.
My son especially enjoyed the beer selection with choices not normally found in area restaurants. We noticed the bar is now fully stocked with a very large selection of Scotch and bourbons/whiskeys.
We all had steaks including my son’s 14 ounce dry aged Delmonico that were flavorful, tender and done as requested. All food arrived on time and at the correct temperature. Don checked back at appropriate intervals.
All in all it was a wonderful, relaxing evening! We will be back.
The Lobster Corn Chowder was delicious as was the Chophouse Salad. My wife liked the Chophouse Club sandwich, and we both enjoyed the homemade chips...they should be made available as an appetizer!
Pre-concert meal, so the place was crowded but all the staff were doing their best to keep everything moving along. They even had our reservation with the parking attendant so we didn’t have to pay in their lot. Hostess and our server were especially nice despite dealing with so many customers. The bar menu was perfect for the occasion. Delicious but with reasonable portions. Plan to come back soon on a less crowded time for the full menu.
Where there for dinner before a show at TaxSlayer Center. Food was excellent! Only wish they would have been open after the show for cocktails or late night appetizers. Think they really missed out on the opportunity to capitalize on show traffic at hotel (Radisson).
The food was inedible
So wonderful to have fabulous outdoor dining and food consistently wonderful.. Dissappointing unvaccinated waitstaff not required to masks, glad we were outdoors with our masks when she came by. One in our party has cancer so needed to be extra careful.
Enjoyed sitting outside. Good service. Restaurant is a little pricey but well worth the money for special occasions
Excellent service, wine and drink excenneny, sides wonderful, entrees coming out of the kitchen need work.
This was our second time to Bass Street. It was a lovely dinner for just my husband and I.
Had dinner on patio. Lovely evening. Lots of cobwebs everywhere. Service was bad. Food was fair for the price. My husband ordered a beer & it came when we were almost done. However they did comp it. Over rated. No hurry to return 👎
We usually love the kobi burgers, but they were overdone and very dry. Portobello mushroom appetizer was really good.
Food was amazing and love the new venue.. So happy to have outdoor seating.. Wait staff so thoughtful and working hard to make everyone enjoy their evening
Kayla(server) made us comfortable and welcome. Patiently put up with our stagnant ordering and execution of our meal. Was a family event after a tough interment of a loved list one. Our meal was timely and delicious. Maitre de made sure everything was as we expected. Comfortable dining experience. Enjoyed our view of the adjacent Mississippi River and the traffic going in both directions. Weather was hot and exceedingly humid outside. Could not have been more comfortable dining inside though temperature made our ladies a bit chilled. So, if a prospective diner comes, bring a cotton sweater.
Food was amazing, the staff was awesome. First time being to a fancy restaurant with a baby and they were wonderful.
I have been to Bass Street a few times, always having great food and a great experience. This time I tried a dry-aged steak and was a little disappointed. I don't know if it was the actual piece of steak or the dry-aging process, but I will try something different next time. Everything else was great.
