Amazing food & atmosphere! The wait staff were very attentive. Great experience!
We love Bass Street and have been many times. We ate in the bar last night and were somewhat disappointed in the food. I ordered the Kobe Beef burger and it seemed somewhat dry/burnt. I was actually not impressed at all with it. I had a side salad to start and did like that. My husband had the tenderloin lollipops and we almost laughed when they were delivered at the size. It was 5 bite size pieces. Hardly an entree in our opinion. Our waiter was great, seemed very busy as I am sure you are short staffed like everyone else. However our water was never refilled. We will be back to Bass Street again but probably would not recommend the bar menu (even though in the past we've loved it).
Don was very nice and did a outstanding job of taking care of us
Our meals were just appetizers and salads, but everything was delicious.
Excellent place to eat. Always good food and service.
New Year’s Eve dinner was the best meal we have ever had!!
Food was excellent. Scott was our server and was outstanding. Always courteous and helpful. Great to see Robin. Wonderful evening.
We've been to 4 of the area's "high-end" restaurants in the last month or so (thanks to holiday celebrations) and Bass Street comes out on top. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. The space is great and we had an amazing time!
Very good service! Looking forward to our next visit.
Dinner with grandson for Christmas!
Took my wife here for her birthday. Excellent food service and atmosphere. Manager made a great wine selection for us as well. Wife was extremely happy with her evening.
We dined at Bass Street with family for Christmas. We made a reservation for 5:30 thinking we would avoid a big dinner crowd. We were seated at a table that was right on top of two other tables and next to a door. My chair was constantly run into by servers and other guests. The service was extremely slow and we had empty glasses most of the meal. The room was extremely cold and when mentioning to our server he told us he was not cold. After my mom put her gloves on I eventually asked at the hostess desk if they could adjust the thermostat and they kindly did. We waited for nearly 2 hours for our food to arrive and when it did it was cold and there was no offer by the server to fix the issue. We were promptly presented with our check with no opportunity to order dessert. We were greatly disappointed. The food portions and quality were not worth the cost. All in all this was a poor dining experience.
We came in for our Birthday Dinners expecting a nice time. From time of order it took 1.5 hours to get our main course, no joke. There was a party of something and our server stated "I got your orders in before the big party" but that was a lie we saw all their food go out as the 6 of sat and waited. The Miso Steak I had was very good and the Sea Bass my wife got was nice but the 10-12 dollar sides were underwhelming and nothing to compliment. Nobody apologized for our long wait for food and It was a long total of 2+ hrs with my daughters. Don't think we will be back.
Mediocre food, terrible drinks. Overall not impressed
Great sea bass
Great atmosphere - right along the river with some table views. Lots of variety on the menu. Friendly staff.
The food was amazing and our server Larry was very tentative and did not miss a beat with our table of ten.
As always, the best meal and service in town! Still my favorite restaurant in the Quad-Cities.
Building was a little cold but server was amazing and her recommendations were spot on.
First time at the new location, haven’t visited in several years. The Bacon Wrapped Scallops were amazing as usual, as well as the Portobello Fries. Our $74 Steak was overcooked but they corrected it with no issue. Aside from the Bone-in Delmonico being ridiculously priced, the others prices were reasonable compared to 3 years ago with inflation and the quality you receive . The Macaroni & Cheese was probably the least favorite dish I’ve had from Bass Street. Left something to be desired. Overall an excellent meal. Great Wine selection. Good Service.
Great service with wonderful food and drinks. Only change would be them fixing a series of three lights that were flickering. Highly recommend the tomato soup with blue cheese- delightful!
Took my wife here for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The lobster here is out of this world! Started going here before we married and can't give it a higher rating it's fantastic!
It was our first visit to the new location…
My wife and I invited another couple from Reynolds, Illinois to join us…
Caleb, our waiter, asked us about hors d’oeuvres…
Being four of us in attendance, I asked how many shrimp were included in the cocktail, to which Caleb replied that there were eight…
I asked everyone at our table who would like a couple of shrimp…
Everyone said yes…
When Caleb brought the shrimp cocktail, there were six on the plate, with the explanation that they were bigger than usual, so we only get six!
So I am guessing we were supposed to cut up the shrimp to divvy it up?
THAT WAS CHEAP!…
It certainly wasn’t first class…
And let’s don’t blame Caleb…
That is a management decision…
I have worked as a waiter myself at Flemings in Walnut Creek, CA, and if I was told to do that, I would have told the preparer to put two more on the plate, and they could dock my pay…
Let me say it again:
THAT WAS CHEAP!
The little tiny bowl for the shrimp sauce (to be shared by four guests), was less than generous, too…
I ordered the Alaskan King Crab Legs…
Probably the most expensive item on the menu…
Caleb said the entree was one pound…
If it was one pound, it certainly wasn’t one pound and one ounce…
My wife said her steak was good, except it wasn’t hot (obviously it had been setting on the plate in the kitchen for a short time before it got to our table)….
I realize you may have growing pains, and the CoVid pandemic makes running a business a challenge, but you need to step up your game if you want to be a five star restaurant…
And I still tipped Caleb 20%…
A birthday party for a daughter turned out perfect! Two of us had Lobster and one had Prime Rib and one had the chutney Salmon ALL fantastic!
Went for lunch and the food was delivered cold even though we all ordered the same thing.
Happy to have this restaurant reopen in its new location! Great Quad City restaurant. Host and wait staff were amazing. Food, service, and ambiance were perfect. Thank you for a great evening!
Great food! Great service!
I would recommend Bass Street for your next special occasion.
We had made a reservation on Open Table for the bar side, but got there & they couldn’t accommodate it and were very flustered. We stood there for about 5-10 minutes while they scrambled to figure it out & eventually we agreed to sit on the (more expensive) dinning room side because we felt bad about how stressed they seemed. Food was good, but there just wasn’t much of it for $115. We left still kind of hungry & just ate more at the hockey game. I don’t know we’ll be back unless we were sure we could eat on the chop bar side that has a more filling menu for more reasonable prices. Maybe they shouldn’t allow reservations through Open Table if it’s a hassle to abide by what the reservation says? Our serve was really nice though. And the new location was beautiful inside!
Great job by Marcus. First time sitting in the bar area. Very nice and comfortable.
Service was good, waiter was sweating the whole time, The Maryland Crab cakes were not the standard you would expect for the price. The fish was over cooked and rubbery. Overall I had an outback steakhouse food for fine dinning prices. Don't think I will be back
Food is fantastic, one of my favorite places to eat. I have never had a bad meal here. Counting down till the next time I go.
Bass Street used to be our go to spot when we visited Moline. The food and drinks were out of this world. This is our second visit since their move and we were kind of disappointed. My husbands burger was as usual delicious. My asparagus was very disappointing, over cooked, too greasy and little flavor. My beef tips were not worth the $30 I paid for them, too much money for too little serving. Is there a new cook or did he just have an off day. We love this place but were disappointed this visit. However, we will be trying it again in hopes that it was just an off day.
Great Ambience and environment. Calamari was excellent!! Salads were average. Steaks lacked any seasoning. Filet and dry aged Delmonico. Unfortunately they needed just salt and pepper. I forgot to get blue cheese butter with mine as that would have saved it. No salt n pepper on the tables either to save it. We also ordered amaretto sours and the forgot the amaretto. They were kind enough to bring a couple ounces to add after requested tho. Server was amazing. Just high end steaks lacked flavor at all.
Great atmosphere. We had a good date night. Only thing is the food could of used more flavor. But it was good overall and I would still recommend it.
Went here for my husband's birthday dinner! This was our first time at the new location. Unfortunately service was extremely slow (long periods of time with empty drinks and waiting for our food). We were there at a slow time and the waiter had only 2 other tables, so I'm not sure if the holdup was in the kitchen, but it's not like the waiter was keeping the drinks full... The food was hit-and-miss, some was good, other dishes were surprisingly low-quality from what we were used to with our previous Bass St. experiences. I hope they are able to pull out of this slump, we really loved the atmosphere and used to adore the food and experience!!
Food quality very poor, at any price, but especially at their prices.
Plan on waiting forever for your food to arrive. We sat down at 7:00. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. Did not get our dinner served until 9:00. I had to remind the waiter twice that we wanted to order our dinner and he kept running off to either get drinks or help another table. We finally got our order in at 8:00. Took an hour to get 2 prime ribs medium rare and a steak rare. The waiter kept apologizing and checking on our order. Food came out hot but the the price of the food and the hype of a great steakhouse, should not have taken 2 hours from the time I walked in to the time I got served dinner.
Our food was delicious and cooked to our liking. The service was excellent. We were able to take our time eating, drinking, and enjoying each others company.
Food was delicious and the service was very good. Will definitely go back.
Great food. Outstanding service from Mirandah.
