Bass Street Chop House
Bass Street Chop House offers the Quad Cities, private dining spaces for special events and a full service bar. The Chop Bar offers signature cocktails, extensive wine, bourbon, single malt scotch collection, as well as a Chop Bar Menu featuring outstanding sandwiches.
Excellent service and menu selection. I couldn’t be more pleased to get great tasting seafood in a midwestern state. The king prawns were some of the best I have ever had.
For the price paid, the food was below average. Service and ambiance was great but the food and cost not worth it.
All of our steaks are over cooked, and the general flavor was not very good.
Great food & outstanding service. It isn't cheap - but worth the cost for a special occasion.
Always a good choice. When in town, try to find a reason to go to Bass St. Our experience this past weekend was especially nice. Great meeting our server Larry. Excellent recommendations, personality, and conversation. Thanks Larry!
My son and I had dinner while visiting him for Family Weekend at college. This was our second visit to Bass Street Chophouse and it was just as great. Food is always flavorful, hot and awesome. Service is friendly, very attentive and they do a wonderful job.
We’ve been to Bass Street numerous times and this is the first time we’ve not been happy with the service. Our server was very slow, did not come back to the table to check on us, and he was noticeably perspiring. The bar area was busy, but no busier than other times we’ve been there. Food however was very good.
Dissapointing visit this time. The food is generally very good, but not worth the money this cisit
Everything about Bass Street Chop House is outstanding.
The Staff were Great! The food did not expectations; salty & fishy.
Iowa pork chop looked like a cover photo for a food magazine but the taste was boring and average. The dish needed a sauce with some punch. Up sell for soup was not appreciated because the waiter implied it was included.
Very good meal and service. Waiter was very attentive .
Took my brother here to celebrate his birthday and pending wedding. The sides are huge and can easily feed 3-4 people, we had enough leftover for steak and eggs the next morning.
Everything was very good, except my medium delmonico came back to the table undercooked not once but twice. Pretty disappointing for a restaurant that prides themselves on their steaks.
When Larry is providing service to your table you know you are guaranteed everything will go well.
We met another couple for dinner and had a great time. In addition to our regular meals, we were able to order a small amount of Kobe beef that was the best meat we had ever eaten. Definitely worth trying
Always have great service and food. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Best Manhattans in town.
Probably the best in Quad Cities. The best I have had in the 5 years I live here. It is a higher end establishment. Equal to fine dining you might find in New York City or Chicago. The food is excellent. Portions are large, service was top notch.
Bass Street is truly one of the top restaurants in the area. The food, service, bar AND atmosphere are top shelf!
Excellent experience. From the beginning to end, our service was excellent. The food was beautifully prepared and flavorful.
Could have more gluten free options. I had to have a burger without a bun. No gluten free bread options. Balsamic Vinagerate could have been put on a little lighter. The plate was soaked in it. This is one of our go tos and will for sure be going back. Great food and great atmosphere. Beer is good and they do have a gluten free beer... Props to that.
We enjoyed a great dining experience. Food was good and Rhea enhanced our night! We have enjoyed being welcomed and having a wonderful meal.
Was surprised that when we all ordered our pricey steaks that no vegetable came with, just a salad. Just wouldve thought rice, potatoes or some vegetable would come with for the price you pay! $30 and up is way to high just for a steak. Doubtful we’ll ever go back again.
For me, Bass Street Chop House is the BEST restaurant in Moline. I live near Chicago and come to this restaurant every time I am in town. The food is always excellent and the service great. This weekend I forgot to ask for small private room before I got to the restaurant and when I inquired they immediately moved our group to the private room. I would have to list the entire menu to name my favorite foods.
Service is always outstanding and always is the best it can be regardless of the size of the crowd. The food is of the highest standard and the bar menu changes monthly to keep choices "fresh". An Outstanding value when compared to service and dining experiences of other area "steak houses".
The service was outstanding but the food was average. One meal had to be sent back and it never did get cooked to order. The sides were below average. The prime rib was good.
Great food, great service, great drinks and a great place to dine for any reason.
Great for steaks and overall excellent quality for food, salads are also good. I love the atmosphere and the service. The bar area is also nice to relax or order food. I always highly recommend to my friends and have a great time as a group.
It maybe very pricey, but it’s so worth it for the dry aged steak
Sent steak back twice and still not done correctly. Did not eat but waited for our friends to finish. They did compliment our meal though. Again neither my wife nor did eat a steak that night.
Excellent service. Expensive. Best steakhouse in this area. Portions are large. Overall, great local steakhouse! We will be back!
Food was fantastic, steak was cooked perfectly and the blue cheese potatoes were amazing. Worth every penny.
Bass Street is a family favorite so of course we took my husband there to celebrate his birthday! We were very pleased and look forward to returning soon!
Outstanding evening - Scott was an awesome server. Helped with everything. Chef Doug provided an excellent dining experience. Thanks to everyone at Bass Street.
This is our second trip to Bass Street and we absolutely loved it as much as the first. The food is absolutely to die for. The wait staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They know their wine as well as their steaks. It is a high end steak house budget accordingly.
Excellent service in the bar!
Couple of cocktails, a burger and fries, salmon sandwich and fries with tip $100. Hate to think what a steak dinner might run!
Service was great but food was marginal. Filet steaks looked grey and were not flavorful, even the bone in filet looked grey. Definitely not appetizing. Lobster bisque was a complete purée, no lobster bits and a strong sherry flavor. This visit was not worth the price. I could not recommend this restaurant based on this visit. Food was poor quality.
Unfortunately my wife and I didn't have a very good experience. Our food was marginal at best . Which surprised us because we have friends that say great things about it. My wife had the lobster bisque and tuna appetizer. Bisque looked and tasted like tomato soup. Just a slight hint of lobster. Tuna that was supposed to be shashimi grade was far from it. I had the fillet. Although it looked nice and was cooked the way I prefer, it just lacked flavor. And was a little hard to chew. A good steak to me just melts in your mouth. I prefer mine very rare. Not to mention our waiter never asked how our food was. So chances are we won't be visiting again anytime soon.
My husbands 70th Birthday.
