INCREDIBLE steaks and fantastic drink/wine selection. Our service was outstanding as well. Highly recommended for a fine dining, romantic evening!
I’m sorry to say the food was horrible. We started with Shrimp Scampi which smelled like fish that had been left out for a week. We sent that back immediately. The beef short ribs in my pasta were 75% fat. I was only able to eat a few bites of the pasta. The manager was dancing around the dining room messing around with the staff. Not once did I see him stop at a table to speak with a patron. He certainly never came to our table to apologize for the poor food. Our waitress was totally ill-prepared for that job. She was pleasant and tried hard but was not at a level expected in an establishment that charges the prices this one does. Absolutely will never return. Horrible.
We love Bass Street! It’s our go place for a nice dinner and special occasion.
Great food with top notch service!!
Food very good. Waiter very good. No complaints other than I think just a little overpriced for the area. But other places around here about the same. So not a deal breaker.
Best steak I have ever had. Dry aged 12oz NY Strip. We were disappointed in the appetizers. They don't match up to the quality of the steaks. Amazing bourbon selection. Overall I would go again!
A long time favorite for a night out for a birthday or any other event.
Great food. Sat quickly. Friendly staff.
We had NY strip and Mac n Cheese. The salad and steak were delicious. My only complaint is there cocktail drink selections.
treated as a valued customer with very attentive and pleasant waiter. Food was outstanding and staff made the meal experience wonderful.
Our first time at Bass Street. First, our waiter, Bryce, was excellent. He was attentive, yet, non-intrusive. His recommendations were right-on. Second, the salad we ordered and the Portabella fries were amazing. Our steaks were good; not exceptional, but good. Thirdly, the decor was good, not spectacular, but, good enough to foster meaningful conversation and a level of privacy.
Overall, we found Bass Street a fine dining experience.
Great steakhouse with full menu of other options! Always favorite in the Quad Cities.
Terrible service, waited an 45 min to finally get salads and left after an hour an 20 min without getting entre. Manager was unprofessional
We always have a wonderful time at Bass street. Everyone is friendly and the service is great.
The wine sampling was a great new experience and the hors d’oeuvres were fabulous. Our dinner, Our server and the ambience is above and beyond !
Classic restaurant ambiance. Service and food outstanding
Had a reservation for 7:00. Got there at 6:58. Waited in line behind at least 14 people for over 20 minutes before they even came to take names. There were 4-5 other couples with 7:00 reservations, then others for 7:15 and 7:30. They didn’t even take the time into account and gave us no idea of when we would get a table. We finally left at 7:30, 30 minutes after we were supposed to have a table. Disappointed because we love the food, but I’m not spending $150 on a dinner after waiting like that.
Great service, sea food & lamb were done to perfection.
Plus it was half price wine night....all went hone happy.
We had a wonderful pre-Valentine's Day dinner at Chop House and it was wonderful. Leo was a fantastic server, very courteous and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.
GREAT FOOD & SERVICE "I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Great food, and excellent service from our server, Richard!
The meatloaf is fabulous , the service and server was So friendly and helpful And the wine selection is top notch!
I would recommend this, with some cautions. The food was delicious. Our server was extremely friendly. However, the service was very slow. It took 10 minutes and us getting up to talk to the hostess before anyone came to get our drink order. We each got a drink and fish & chips, and we were there for 1 hour and 45 minutes. When we got our bill, there were 2 appetizers listed on it, which we had not ordered. However, when we brought this to our server's attention, he corrected the error and compensated us. This was all very nice. I just wish everything hadn't taken so long.
We enjoyed a great dining experience and felt welcome. The food was well prepared and tasty. A special treat.
well, both of our steaks were too cooked, even after replacing one.
other then this the food was amazing.
Just not worth the 500 for the 6 of us. You’ll have to decide for yourself.
We've been many times over the years. This visit, our server was outstanding! On a very busy night, she handled our orders with efficiency and aplomb. Food was good, as usual. Ordered the special celery root soup garnished with prosciutto and fried leeks -- it was delicious, velvety and flavorful.
This is my favorite steakhouse, the atmosphere is a beautiful wood trimmed dining area and a great bar area. I love their selections with my favorite being the American Kobe along with a great wine selection. You can't go wrong on a evening out here.
Everything was great except for the waitress trying to seat us at a table. I reserved a booth in early October. They did relocate us when I complained.
The food is always excellent. The service and surroundings are always first class.
We enjoyed a lovely anniversary dinner in a quiet, contemporary atmosphere. We were especially pleased with the Lobster Corn Chowder, the Warm Brussel Sprouts Salad, the Prime Beef Tips and the Moscato Shrimp. Delicious flavors. Our server and other personnel were cordial and attentive. A wonderful evening!
Three vegetarians at a steakhouse. That was our party of four. Service was very good I got the feeling that they may have been a little disappointed when we told them that we were vegetarian. We have always loved their sides. They did have a vegetarian option of portobello mushroom risotto that we tried but were disappointed with. Was supposed to include butternut squash but it wasn’t to be found anywhere? Meal was very dry. Glad we ordered a couple of sides that we really enjoyed.
Absolutely another great experience, starting with a personalized welcome from Robin (who remembered us from a previous celebration) to a very nice time with outstanding service from Brandon. We had the featured fish which was great. First time that we enjoyed fish at a steak restaurant. Absolutely the best place for a special occasion in the Illinois Quad Cities.
Food and service were excellent. A little pricey but worth it
Service was wonderful. We all enjoyed our dinners and had no surprises or complaints With our meal.
Our waiter was excellent. He made the evening. Hard to recommend to others. Your prices are quite high.
Food was great, service was great, calm and quiet atmosphere. Disappointed in menus however. Went for the seafood but choices limited and same options you get anywhere and had to ask for beer menu cause they are "getting rid of them". Every thing was very good but for the price it was probably a one time deal.
I would say the best place to eat in the quad cities. The price is what it should be for a prime steak house. Absolutely delicious entrees with savory family sized sides. I will be going in the very near future.
Great as always. My filet was perfect! Love the wedge salad although it has shrunk in size. We always split it so it was a bit small.
Other than that excellent as always.
We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. My husband said we should make this a tradition. We just might do that. We will be going more frequently. I told all my friends about our experience. We felt very special on our day and that meant the world to both of us. Thank you very much.
