Restaurant was VERY noisy. Despite the fact I made reservation MANY weeks in advance our table location was less than desirable. My salmon was totally tasteless. My husband's meal was ok. We would NOT make trip from where we live to eat at BASS LAKE again.

I made a dinner reservation through OpenTable for Bass Lake Inn for a party of six to celebrate three wedding anniversaries. The reservation was for 6:30 pm on 9/17/16. At 6:50 pm, after inquiring with the hostess when we might be seated, we were told she didn't know how long it might be. It was very clear upon our arrival at 6:20 pm that the restaurant was already at capacity and overbooked as there were no tables available and several groups of people at the bar were also waiting for a table. Since we were told by the hostess that she could not estimate how long it would be for a table to open for us we left Bass lake Inn at 6:50 pm and dined elsewhere. It goes without saying how disappointed we were that the restaurant could not honor our reservation. They clearly were overbooked which left us no other option but to leave and find another restaurant to service us. I sent an email to the restaurant on Saturday evening 9:17/16 through their website expressing my disappointment over this incident but I have received no response. Their lack of response is a testimonial to the fact that they could care less.

Our friends enjoyed it so much the last post Chardon FB game dinner we had, they asked to come again! Of course we obliged and they loved it on the patio as much as we usually do! So fun and food was Delish as usual, atmosphere wonderful! Thanks again for an awesome evening!

Dinner was excellent. Steak was cooked to preference. Brunch meal of pot roast hash was a bit of a disappointment as there was not much pot roast included but rather many pieces of fat. Cocktails were delicious.

Good food and service, but Date Night a disappointment. We do not agree on choice of wines so a bust for us. Ordered off the menu and as I said good food.

Even though we used the open table app to make a reservation and stated it was a special occasion, nothing was mentioned. We waited a number of minutes for anyone to approach our table. The wasn't one server in the room for quite sometime. We were ready to order everything by the time someone came to even acknowledge us. The first glass of wine that was brought to the table had lipstick on it. Other tables were given bread, we were not offered it. Appetizer was okay, no one came by to ask about it. Salad was wilted and the ceased dressing was too vinegary. Dinner was bland and left much to be desired. All of our plates we stacked at the end of the table as no one ever came by to pick them up. No one ever came by to ask how dinner was, who the waitress finally came back all she asked was finished? VERY disappointed!
