Jessica Jason and the rest of the staff are awesome! Always welcoming with honest suggestions about the menu. Thank you for letting us run wild. All the places in Seattle to eat and we dined with you twice this week even though we were staying at the Courtyard. Your menu rocks. Keep it up and add more wine selections please!

This place is a hidden gem. Very underrated. Their service is always good. Food is outstanding (for what we ordered). It is not your average hotel restaurant for travelers to get a quick bite. We have tried their braised pork shoulder, garlic prawn, crab cake, French dip, and a few other things. The quality is quite consistent. The price is also very reasonable. Did I mention that they got an "excellent" rating from King County?

Dined here only because hotel staff said it would be deducted from the incidentals deposit. It was expensive, not overly impressive, and guess what..... it was charged beyond the incidentals deposit. Wouldn’t have eaten here in the first place. Won’t go back.

2017 Christmas Dinner 6pm, Was not impressed by food or service. We were an older group of 60+ so young wait staff not very present. The seating was difficult for mobility challenged members of our party. Crab Bisque was a salt bomb, risotto was under/poorly cooked, crab cakes were over cooked and needed a sauce.

We were there for Christmas dinner. Although the restaurant did not seem overly busy, our server excused the food quality because of the fixed menu and the holiday. One order of fettuccini was soupy. Our server was distracted and forgot we asked for wine. However, she did her best to accommodate our requests for our desserts to go. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, unlike that in many modern restaurants.

We went to this restaurant two or three years ago for the Christmas Dinner. It was awesome. But our returns have been a disaster. Thanksgiving and Christmas buffet were very weak on service and noisy and crowded. So this Christmas we decided to return for the evening Christmas dinner. What a change from our first experience. The lights shined down on us very bright. Very noisy family at table next to us. Food was good. Service was ok. This will probably be our last holiday dinner at Basil's.

The Basil Kitchen was wonderful! I took my family there for the Christmas dinner buffet and everything was excellent. I was very impressed and would make it a tradition!

Made a reservation for ten people plus one high chair in the evening. Showed up on time and our table was ready immediately. Service was amazing. Our waitresses were incredibly nice. The food was good. We even got a dessert for the birthday boy. Would definitely come again.

Food was good; Three small Crab cakes with risotto which was a little on the dry side; crisp half dozen green beans atop the risotto; some tables got bread, suspect that you had to ask for it?
The waiter was polite but rather robotic like; Food was pricey;
Loud conversational noise from happy hour in the high ceilinged atrium lounge just outside the restaurant.

We have been to Basil's twice. The first time was really memorable. Prompt, friendly and attentive service, excellent food (prosciutto wrapped prawns, cioppino). The next time was fair service,and mediocre food (chicken marsala, crab cake salad). The salad with crabcakes was mainly a large, overdressed, mass of arugula which went uneaten. So those uneven dining experiences lowered my overall rating to 3 stars. I still like the place, especially the spacious room and will adjust my rating according to future experience.

We often have business associate lunches here, it is a great value centrally located.
We have always had a great lunch. There are a lot of menu selections for varied tastes at reasonable prices.
The staff is very good and friendly. We never have a hassle and always get separate checks!

This place is more for just dining if your staying at the hotel. I thought it was going to be a great spot for Father's Day but my the food was not worth the price. The selection was very small and this place was totally not kid friendly. There was no baby changing station in the ladies restroom. The food was ok but not special. The staff was friendly which was the only reason why it was decent.

The only problem I had was trying to change my reservation from 6 to 7 people. Open table didn't work for me in that regard. When I received my reminder email from you, it was still for 6. Had to call Basil's Kitchen to make the change. This has happened to me before. Can you fix it?

We went for Mother's Day Brunch! The choices were very good. They kept everything full
and appealing. Our group of 4 totally enjoyed the experience. I would do it again and have
already recommended it to others.

Easter brunch- lovely.
Pricey for the little food I can put down but I was pleased with the variety and quality of fish dishes and the food and selection overall was quite good and true to northwestern good food.
My tween had lots of options and was also pleases
