The food was tasty but definitely not worth the prices they charged. The salad is fantastic and the bread with their special oil is amazing but the main course scallops $32 for 8 small scallops was definitely not worth the money. Especially as we added the “large” chunks of crab for $8 and i could barely see the minced pieces in the sauce. The quality and quantity missed the mark.

We enjoyed our valentines dinner We shared the bang bang shrimp and it was so good.The house salad was fresh and cold. I had the veal basilicos and it was delish. My dinning partner had stuffed flounder. He said it was good but probably wouldn't order again because it is stuffed with a crab cake verses lump crabmeat. Our server was great. The deserts were good too. Defiantly will be going back soon.

This was our second visit to Basilico's. Compared to our first visit, we felt that the food - this time - had gone down in quality. Our primary disappointment with the meal had to do with the appetizer - calamari fritta bruschetta. Fried calamari should always been crispy and tender: not so with this dish. The calamari was soggy as a result of the bruschetta being mixed together. Better would have been serving the calamari with the melted cheese on top and the bruschetta on the side.
My dish - vitello pizzaiola was very good. On the other hand, my wife's dish - pollo vincenzo was smothered by the gorgonzola cream sauce. In this case less sauce would have been better.
We would come back again for dinner but we we probably would not order that appetizer or the pollo Vincenzo again. Thank You

Always fantastic! So happy we found this gem. The dishes are creative as well as traditional. Everything from the bread to dipping oil to dessert is wonderful!!
