We celebrate birthdays and holidays here whenever possible - the experience has always been outstanding in every regard!

Celebrated our 12 year wedding anniversary here and loved the food! We did the tasting menu with wine and were very happy with our choice. Unfortunately, they had run out of the starter course. Our server recommended the OEUF MOLLET AVEC CHAMPIGNONS salad. We were not disappointed! It was probably one of the best salads I've ever had. And the wine pairing with each course was perfect. We look forward to going back again!

Overall it was excellent. My only complaint would have been the noise level. It seemed, at times, a bit difficult to carry on an “across-the-table” conversation. This was the only negative. The waitstaff were fantastic and the food, as I’ve come to expect from any Bartolotta establishment, was amazing.

Fabulous birthday dinner!! We enjoyed dining at the bar and both of the bartenders were very professional and efficient. The Thursday evening Veal special was out of this world! Creme Brule for dessert was a great finish to a spectacular meal. We can't wait to return!

This favorite spot was so disappointing. Service was not gracious and friendly as in the past. Pate and jam was not great. Needed a steak knifeto cut the eggs Benidict! Dessert was tiny....All in all, disappointing. The hair in my food did not help. Very sad that the quality has slipped so much.

It's too expensive for what you get. Ordered Menu du chef and the tuna was a disappointment as it was served mostly raw and didn't have a special flavor or anything. I am not into sushi so maybe it's a generational thing. Dessert was great, the appetizer was good (pork belly, not a fan; onion tart, very good). Took the wine paring, you get about 3 sips of wine per glass. Suggestions for Lake Park Bistro: 1) have at least 3 Menu du chef choices; 2) up the price for wine pairing, if you feel you have to, and give at least 4-5 oz.; 3) lower the entree prices. We like to order the menu du chef because it has been well thought out and planned. It was not even edible the last time we got it (blue crab) so since it's happened twice in a row, we are not doing it again. For three people $245 + 20% tip was just way too much $$. I would not complain except it was twice now and the price leaves no room for a mediocre meal and a few sips of wine!

Service was good. My Mimosa was warm and the french onion soup was cold. The potatoes that came alongside the eggs benedict appeared to have been reheated. I should have minimally sent the soup back, but did not say anything.

Had such a lovely experience! Sat by window w beautiful view. Our server Chris was outstanding, very knowledgeable and attentive. The asparagus soup and halibut were to die for. They staff signed a neat birthday card and gave me the yummmiest desert to take home (I was too stuffed for desert). Probably my fav restaurant in MKE!

Lake Park Bistro is our go to spot for business dinners. The menu items are always consistently delicious. It's nice they offer a small seasonal menu in addition to their regular menu. I order the beef tenderloin every time. But I tend to order the seasonal salad and dessert to compliment it.

A crowed pleaser. The food was excellent, the view of Lake Michigan created an added touch of ambience and the service was appropriate and augmented the gracious dining experience. This restaurant is a must for special and romantic occasions.
The table filleted sole was the best and the specials are always delicious.

There for Easter brunch. Our 8 top table was very lopsided and all the edges were sloped down on an angle so none of the plates were flat and coffee cups and cutlery would slide on the plate. Shrimp in appetizer was still grey in the middle. Very busy holiday brunch so not quiet normal experience was expected, but a bit disappointing.

We regularly go to Lake Park Bistro for Easter Brunch. There is a three-course meal served, with many choices for each course. The service is excellent and the food is always delicious. We were fortunate enough to have a Lake view, so this was an outstanding meal. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed Easter Brunch very much. We were pleased about the seating arrangement and the friendly and prompt service. The food was delicious, however the egg dishes were not as well prepared as the meat dishes (very dry muffin and ham with the Eggs Benedict). The child's fruit bowl lacked variety , no berries, only melon. The scrambled eggs and toast plate could have used some sprucing up as well, maybe a tomato slice for color.

Easter Brunch was a disappointment this year. I felt that the kitchen was just pumping out dishes without the care I expect from Bartollota's Restaurants. My onion soup was luke warm, but the rest of the dishes were good. The waitstaff were messing around putting a paper fish on eachother's backs which was distracting, not to mention tacky in that environment. The waitstaff did not take the care to pay attention to the details of service. Plates were piled on each other on the table, silverware for dessert placed in the center of the table in a pile. As a former employee of Ristorante Bartollota's, we were all expected to pay attention to the details and give the customer a great experience every time. I will not return for a brunch again.

I arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before my reservation. The manager took my name and pointed to a table and told us to go and sit down. Nobody walked us to the table. Nobody gave us menus. We had to wait over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. When I can go to a Fridays, Chilis, Dennys and at least get the courtesy of being shown to a table, and handed menus, I don't understand what is wrong here. Even though the servers were excellent, the manager ruined it and embarassed me in front of my 4 guests. Everyone at my table asked me what was wrong and why we were not shown to our table. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Meal started off great. We had a bottle of wine and the escargot. The French Onion Soup and Mushroom salad delicious. The entree was good for one of us and incorrect for me. I had ordered the bone in ribeye like many other times. It was supposed to be medium rare and was well done. Mistakes happen I get it but....neither server checked back with us for more than 10 minutes. By the time they did it was to late. The other meal was halfway finished. I just skipped it. We did order a dessert and they did comp it. I’ve been to LP many times. Just disappointed in the cookery of the steak and the servers missing it.

Lake Park Bistro is one of the very best restaurants in Wisconsin. The chefs are exceptionally well-trained, the waitstaff is extremely professional, the food is invariably delicious, and there is a scenic view of Lake Michigan. It is perfect for special occasions, or for any time one wants a carefully prepared classic French meal.

The location is as good as it gets. We live on Lake Michigan, but I still love dining with that lovely view out the window. WE all enjoyed our food, although the three course special is a little too much food for us older people. However, the left-overs are a nice bonus the next day. Our favorites are the salmon and the hanger steak.

Delicious! This was our first time here and it didn’t disappoint! Our table was amazing, right by the window overlooking the lake. The food was good. I had the hanger steak, husband had the filet. His was better. I had the mouse with coconut and he has the warm chocolate cake. Both desserts were superb. We will be back!!
