   We had a delightful dinner for six from the Haute Bistro menu. The ambience is lovely, the view sublime and the food and service were excellent. I got a bad shock when the bill came, however. I expected it to be $75 per person, but there are $10 supplemental charges for some choices that I didn't notice. Enjoy but beware.

   Staff was awesome. Food was awesome. Presentation was awesome. My daughter loved it and they treated her wonderfully.

   This is a destination restaurant for either a casual gourmet dinner or a special celebration. We come from Chicago and this is absolutely our favorite restaurant.... romantic; excellent service and food..... and that view of Lake Michigan rivals any view from a Chicago eatery near the lake.

   We gathered as a family to celebrate a birthday, which was recognized by staff on our entrance and at the table with a card signed by staff. The lakefront room offers a spectacular view of the lake, but gets noisy with the laughter & conversation from nearby tables. All the food, from appetizers, mains, to desserts are delicious and presented beautifully.

   One bartender for 300 people resulted in long wait times for pre-brunch drinks at the bar. Food was good but not worth the $60 price tag. Setting was beautiful as usual. Servers were friendly.

   As frequent diners at the Bartolata group's restaurants, we have always appreciated Lake Park Bistro's good service. However, our Easter brunch experience was disappointing. We were on time and table was ready . After being seated, waited for at least 15 minutes before a waiter greeted us and after pouring water, he introduced himself and let us know a waitress would be taking care of us together with him then disappeared. 10 minutes later A waitress eventually arrived with menus, and we promptly ordered drinks. Following another 20-minute wait, our drinks arrived, and we placed our orders Immediately ( it’s a preset menu with options for 3 courses, we ordered all 3 courses). It was noticeable that all surrounding tables received croissants/ bread and butter while they were waiting and we did not. Our bread arrived seconds before the first course, and the main course followed immediately. The dessert arrived shortly after the main course. We ordered espressos with our desserts, but the bill arrived with the dessert, without the espresso. The waiter inquired twice about the readiness of the bill within five minutes. I finally informed him that we required our espressos to eat with dessert before considering payment. We didn’t complain or make any fuss until these rushing payment. It was interesting to note that other tables that arrived before us were taking their time without ordering, there just placed the orders when we received our main course. I didn’t see anyone rushing them for sure they were still eating when we were asked to pay. The service was subpar, and we will not return for brunch for sure.

   We went to Lake Park Bistro for Easter Brunch. It was great. The 3-course meal had plenty of choices in each of the 3 catergories and we both enjoyed our picks. The service was outstanding, even though it was an extremely busy day. And the food was very good, also. I do recommend Lake Park Bistro!

    We LOVE coming to Lake Park Bistro for special occasions (or regular occasions!). Especially for festive family gatherings. This time we were seated with a lake view and everyone was kind enough to accommodate our party including a 2 1/2 month old in a car seat (we made sure to call ahead). The hosts and servers are always outstanding. The prix fixe menu is convenient and there are plenty of choices. My selections weren't outstanding but they were quite good. I won't complain since the overall experience is so lovely. We'll be back for sure. So fun!
