Bartolotta's Lake Park Bistro
Our chefs have crafted a four-course menu allowing diners to select their personalized culinary journey.
Lake Park Bistro is honoring history’s French chefs and cuisine while elevating the approach to ‘Haute Bistro’ cooking, bringing both classic recipes as well as signature dishes. The Bartolotta Restaurants team is excited to take guests on a culinary journey to France.

Outstanding French resturant with wonderful view of the lack front
We went to Lake Park Bistro in search of the best meal to be had in Milwaukee, and were very satisfied with our findings. Excellent food, fine wines, wonderful service, and a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Michigan. Our highest recommendation!
Looking out over the lake, eating fantastic food and wonderful service. What a great way to celebrate an anniversary!
We really like the 4 course menu format. I hope you continue to offer it.
We liked the menu of 4 courses and the opportunity to choose one of several options for each course. That took us out of our comfort zone and thrust into an adventure zone, sampling dishes we normally might not consider.
The staff was extremely kind and presented my wife with a special birthday card.
Our waiter, Matt, was not only very professional, but also engaged us with his clever personality and sense of humor. We enjoyed his service very much. Thank you, Matt!
We dined with our grandson and his girlfriend. We had taken him to this restaurant a few years back. We found the food and service to be exceptional. We would easily return.
For most other restaurants I would have certainly graded the food a 5, but this was supposed to be a premier restaurant. It missed the mark. One course was sole that was firmer than any sole I have had before (I am being kind). We had a wonderful bottle of wine that was served too cold. In time the temperature was ideal and the wine extraordinary, but again this was lake Park Bistro. Finally I ordered lamb medium rare. One chop was perfect, but the second chop was medium and not tender. In retrospect I should have sent the second chop back, but did not want a confrontation. Finally we generally felt rushed. The only time I have had this feeling was if I had told the staff we had theatre tickets; we did not. Overall this is a wonderful restaurant; only muddied by inferior ingredients and lack of attention to presentation details.
We were visiting from out of town and wanted a meal we couldn’t find where we lived. This fit the bill. Nice views. Beautiful restaurant. Very happy with our selection. I enjoyed the four course menu and felt it encouraged us to order things we usually may not have. Excellent wine and beautiful presentation and service.
The 4-course menu is planned very well. The service was very attentive. and each course was well executed bringing fresh ingredients that complement each other to make for a delicious item. My greatest concern was that I would be hungry within the hour, but to my surprise, the meal kept me satisfied. I would recommend the salmon for the second course and the lamb chops for the third course. For dessert, the Chocolate mousse is just as good as ever. We have a very enjoyable evening.
Great menu, delicious French-style cuisine, fun servers.
Was nervous about the new price fixe menu, but it turned out to be a blessing. Pushed us out of our comfort zone and discovered some new favorites. The soft boiled egg appetizer, salmon first course, duck and steak entrees were all outstanding.
It’s been over 1.5 years since my wife and I went to a resturant that gave us time to enjoy and comfortable seating. The wait was worth it to visit Lake Park Bistro. We went with the 4 course dinner and everything was extraordinary wonderful.
Here to see game four NBA finals
I treated my mom for a belated Mother’s Day gift to her favorite restaurant and it did not disappoint. Everything from the moment we entered Lake Park Bistro to all the servers and food was FANTASTIC!! 5+ stars!!! Thank you Lake Park Bistro for an amazing dining experience!!
Bartolotta's Lake Park Bistro may have been the single best dining experience in my life.
The 4 course meal was excelent. That was the only meal we could have but we really enjoyed it. Sharon, our server knew alot about wine. They did goof on one of our meals and brought the wrong one but they clarified it in about 5 min. We will go back again!
The service was excellent. The food was outstanding.
So happy to see this Milwaukee landmark thriving.
GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE. LIMITED MENU BUT WAS STILL VERY GOOD. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RUNNING OUT OF WATER OR BREAD AND BUTTER. HAD A GREAT TIME THERE WITH MY CHILDREN. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
Service was not what we normally have at Lake Park. Waited for water asked for a seltzer and waited 15 minutes then had to wave to get anyone’s attention. My husband had to go to the bar to get another drink. Basically we felt ignored by our wait staff. Not what we expected for spending over $300
Fantastic first visit with many more planned along the way, great service and excellent food!
On a short vacation with friends. This was great place for dinner!
A good experience overall, as was the service, but our previous two dinners at the Bistro in the past two months were both better overall. Two disappointments worth noting: the beef filet ordered by two in our party of four was medium well done when both asked for medium rare. Also, the main server removed plates, etc. for the third course of three of us who had just finished when our fourth member was still eating.
On the other hand, we greatly appreciate the manager's courtesy and his finding a table for us when we erroneously arrived 24 hours early!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner with my wife at a unique venue.
Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy LPB’s four-course menu. There are selections to please every palate, and as always, the service and ambience guarantee a pleasurable evening.
This was our first time dining at Lake Park since late 2019 due to the pandemic. As before, we were not disappointed. Both the service and cuisine were exceptional. Our wait staff walked us through the menu and answered all questions we had. Our meal was absolutely excellent! Thank you for making our wedding anniversary very special. We look forward to dining there again.
Post-COVID menu is a set menu. Be prepared for 4 delicious, but very tiny courses. I believe people are so happy to be waited on in a lovely setting, that they’ll pay the price. We ordered the duck breast and tenderloin as main courses. Both were single, tiny pieces which would be sufficient if previous courses were substantial- they were not. Perhaps the amuse bouche was meant to impress? Most frustrating was the feeling of being rushed. I was still eating my flavorless salad when waitstaff is reaching across my plate, and face, to place the next round of utensils. And, before we had barely broken into our bite size desserts, she placed the check on the table - rush, rush, rush.
Can’t wait for regular dishes to return so you can leave satisfied.
Always a treat! Food was delicious! Excellent menu options to suit many diverse tastes! Ambience is incomparable!
I am never dissapointed when I go to Lake ParkBistro. Everything is always exceptional.
Birthday dinner for our daughter. Delicious dinner. Love the porch.
Great place to celebrate a 39th birthday (for a 6th or more time)! Food, Atmosphere, staff and custom arrangements were outstanding.
We liked the new concept. The food was outstanding and the service as always very professional. Thank you
It's been a while since we visited, and it was definitely a fine dining experience coming back. Plenty of choices on the four course menu, everything ordered was excellent, and the service was attentive and very professional. Nicely done!
Delicious food, beautiful view, a perfect night for our anniversary. Free Champagne and water to start, lobster bisque, salmon, duck, filet mignon, creme brulee and lemon tart were all delish! Masks required.
The food was delicious at a very good price point. Every course was excellent! We look forward to returning.
Love the bistro, but I preferred the a la carte menu. I understand the rationale for the tasting menu, but I preferred some of the simpler options on the other menu. Excellent service and fantastic view.
My wife, our friends and I had a wonderful four-course dinner at Lake Park Bistro. The food was nicely varied and delicious, the service was friendly and professional, and the ambiance was very pleasing.
Incredible food, impeccable service.
Lovely dining experience, as always! Great French food!
We celebrated our anniversary at Lake Park Bistro on 6/12/21 and it was an absolutely beautiful evening. The Prix Fixe menu choices were delicious! (The salmon course was delicious, the tenderloin melt in your mouth!) The servers were so knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Lake Park Bistro!
Beautiful view of Lake Michigan, great atmosphere and service and the the food was delicious! We had a wonderful 21st Anniversary Dinner!
