Great food and service!
Authentic food and great wine!
The staff was very attentive and friendly!
I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience I had on Valentine's day. Hopefully it was just due to the unusually busy night, but service was incredibly slow from the valet to the wait staff. I wouldn't say it was at all worth the price.
We waited quite awhile to be served, food was over priced. Servers were attentive and nice. Disappointed as it was a Valentines dinner!
Visited Savona for Valentine's Day, the service was impeccable. The food was creative and the flavors were amazing.
Definitely a special place!
Food was absolutely excellent, although very pricey! Downside was the parking situation.....took 40 minutes to get our car from Valet..........no self-parking available, valet only, and terribly understaffed! Put a real damper on an otherwise wonderful meal.
I have enjoyed Savona on several occasions, spanning work events, family gatherings, and celebration of friends. The staff is always attentive and friendly, thoughtfully answering questions about menu options (with flexibility to alter combinations). A work/family/friend favorite!
Loved it! I will definitely be back!
I really loved the meatballs! Staff was super friendly
This place is worth every penny. I promise you you’ll love it!
We had a truly excellent meal. Each dish was special or distinctive in some way. The service was friendly, attentive, discreet. We expect to be back regularly.
Dinner with friends. Excellent service. Knowledgeable servers. Great wine list.
Good for special occasions. Prices on the high side but worth it.
Had a reservation for a table at 7:30 and arrived early. Sat at the bar with Brad who made the experience great. First time there and he made us feel at home. We remained at the bar for dinner and took Brad's suggestions for a tuna appetizer, home made pasta and an extremely tender filet. Good people at the bar also made for a pleasant experience.
Go there, don't miss it.
I can't betleive thewy allow customers in TEE SHIRTS . very low class . This was at one time an upscale resturant . Well no longer .
I won't be back . Food was good
Service was very poor. We waited 30 minutes before our cocktails were delivered. Waiter disappeared for an extended period of time after we ordered an appetizer before taking an order for the main course. From our upstairs seating we heard, several times, someone in the kitchen yelling at staff.
The food was over the top great. They seem to manage to get the nuance of home-cooked foods from Italy and beyond--very rare; I don't know how they do that. The portions are enormous, so be prepared. The salmon tartare is superb. Staff was wonderful. Inexpensive for the quality and experience. But order carefully because the portions are 3X what we could eat!
Fantastic food and excellent service. Requested a quiet table for a business meeting when reserving and they had a perfect table away from the crowded restaurant for us. Perfect!
This was our first time at Savona. The food and service really were excellent. The main drawback was the atmosphere. The interior was cold, modern, and boring which did not compliment the historically significant structure. Given that it was so expensive, I would not go back because the atmosphere did not live up to expectations. For that price, the atmosphere should be warm and cozy. It should be darker with candles and more ambience. Also, hardly any of the original historic charm was maintained ed on the interior.
We had a lovely lunch celebrating a birthday. Service was very good, attentive. Fabulous drink menu, I recommend "on the roc"! All four of us enjoyed our meals carrying from pizza to salad as well as two lunch entrees. Can't wait to go back!
Had great service. The food was great. The cook came out to say hi.
Table setup upstairs is NOT cozy or comfy small crowded tables- likely fit more people- but I will be unlikely to return- for the price? Not worth it- felt average at best -
Unfortunately, The food is not the same as it once was? There was no flavor in anything we ate that night!
Our old neighborhood gem was a real disappointment:(
I wasn't fond of the mandatory valet parking.
The table was great but no linen tablecloths.
Menu and food both were excellent but the prices were too high and the portion sizes too small; poor value.
The service was excellent and the coffee was quite good.
Service was bad.
Restaurant was not busy and I still had to look around for a waiter, I needed to then ask the water server to take our drink order, then finally when the waiter came out drinks had not.
Had to ask the waiter for bread.
7:15 reservation and the restaurant was out of the specials already.
Lovely restaurant but lacking service
Appetizers were great. Fish was good but broccoli rabe was a little bitter. Steak was very good.
Interior has been redone to enable a view of the kitchen from the bar and high tops. Dining room has been redone providing a better lit and spacious environment.
I love the food and ambiance at Savonna. The service was only very slightly slow on Christmas Eve but I can forgive them because it was extremely crowded.
Good food in a nice atmosphere. Price is not out of line with experience, but not a special value.
Food was very good. Been there several times and food & drinks have been consistently good. Service at times was a bit spotty but in last visit, was very good as well.
Still a go-to place. Everyone is nice, from valet to hostess and waitstaff Food was hot and perfectly cooked.
Sat in bar area. A little more casual. Great view of kitchen we weren’t rushed and enjoyed leisurely dinner in a casual environment.
I really enjoyed the dinner. The food was very tasty and the service exelent
I will definitely be back!!!!
Not very busy due to snow and provided us with a table that was next to a fireplace that had a cold downdraft coming down. Other tables where empty but never moved us.
Much improved. Excellent service and food. Would definitely return.
Fabulous food. Great ambience
Great experience at Savona. Food was amazing and service was very attentive and on point! would highly recommend.
One of my favorite restaurants seems to have gone backward a bit. Still elite in pricing, the wait staff was uneven in attention and service (ranging from very good to inept)....food was good, but not up to Savona standards. Strong and varied wine list. New décor seems to want to draw an unnecessary hip flavor to the venue. Will go back but hope for better.
They had a wonderful prix fix lunch menu this week, and along with their fabulous wine list, it's a great choice!
I hadn't been to Savona in years and forgot how good it is. It's been remodeled for a year and it looks great. We'll be back soon.
