The waiter was not professional and the restaurant was extremely loud with sound of dishes breaking here and there. Thank you!
Enjoyed our meal. Had a great table. Food was very good. Waitstaff could use an upgrade. Slow service on drinks, then staff wants to rush the meal
Excellent meal, service and atmosphere! Thank you!
duck was so small for the money it was a small app for 30 bucks wow and their pot is shoestring fries not so good
Really like the renovation. The wooden tables are a great alternative to table cloths. I feel like the main dining room is less stuffy now. The food is great. Service was good
Had a great glass of wine with salmon. I got my dessert of flourless chocolate brownie to go. It was delicious
Love Love Love!!!! Excellent pasta!
It was great
The location is great. Maybe the outdoor seating would be fun for a group. Was really looking forward to Savona but was disappointed. Nothing special to the dishes as far as taste or flavor. Not worth the price.
Outdoor seating when available and comfortable is remarkable. Bar is small (12 people) with extended hi tops (4) and then in-bar seating (12). Food is available at the bar but the hard ceiling, floor and wall coverings raises the noise level to the point that you have to lean towards the bartender and talk loudly to just order.
what a lively place! The bar was pretty packed, but I managed to get sat there anyway. I love the look of the outside - next time I plan on requesting to sit out there. Good food. Good cocktails
I had some food at the bar. Really enjoyable bartenders. I drank some rum they had aged in barrels as an old fashioned. Was great
Savona was amazing and I has
Savona has recently been update and the transformation has been great. New updated menu, plus they kept four of the original favorites. The updated decor is great, but just a touch less formal. The bar update is really nice and a place we hope to visit again for drinks.
Since this place is an upscale one- I was expecting an exceptional service. I took my husband to celebrate his birthday, and I mentioned the occasion when I made the reservation. Surprise! I guess they didn't get the memo. I've had such nice details for the same occasion in other places, but nothing here. Overall, our waiter so so, the food was okay, salad was salty, my salmon and the red wine very good. The best, was the valet parking guy!
VERY noisy space (we were NOT at the bar), more than I expected. Two tables away- we had a sort of a "housewife of Gulph Mills"; I couldn't even focus on my own conversation w/ my husband...she was annoyingly noisy. So I think the place is good for happy hour or something like that.
the food was stellar. i love the new burrata dish
What is going on here? Savona was THE best restaurant on the Main Line for years and years... the food is still great (kudos to the kitchen!), but the current front of the house and service staff is in dire need of training to bring back what had been outstanding service in the past. Very sloppy service at my latest visit - so many flaws to even detail here - but very disappointed in how this 5-star restaurant is letting down its loyal guests.
Had a great meal as always. Did Easter Brunch and was not disappointed.
Fabulous dinner...one of the best meals ever!
Bisque is outstanding and the pastas are exceptional!
Expected more. Food was just ok
Excellent service tonight. Took a friend for dinner and we very much enjoyed both the salmon and short ribs.
We have always enjoyed Savona. It used to be our go to for special occasions. The food is still good and the prices are commensurate with the food. However, the restaurant experience no longer feels special. It is disappointing.
I love this little restaurant! I have driven past it so many times, but never stopped in. Great wine list and excellent food.
We very much enjoyed our meal. Two of us had the burrata to start and the dover sole special. Both were delicious but large enough that we could have split them between us! Some had pizzas and pastas and another fish dish. All was well prepared.
one of my favorite restaurants in the area! really great waiter and fun bartender. got a drink before sitting down, the lemon basil martini. ate the pizza with meatballs. very good
Savona is much more than a restaurant, it is an experience. They use the highest quality ingredients and freshest seafood available to the area. The chef executes his cuisine exquisitely grilled over local hickory, sauteed, or raw in perfect simplicity. Every element on the plates are heard as part of the orchestra. The service also dances along in perfect harmony. They look amazing in their blazers and ties all unique to their identity. Our server explained the additions beautifully and answered all of our questions about the menu in fine detail. The braised lamb shank served on the bone was a show stopper. Served on the bone big enough to satisfy a salivating rotweiler, tenderly braised down in its own au jus accompanied by cannelini beans with fresh mint and arugula was divine. The chef even burnt the rosemary sprig atop this masterpiece creating an insence that made a kodak moment!
This is my favorite date night spot. My husband is a picky eater but with such a large menu he never has trouble finding something he loves. Love the fun cocktails, too.
fantastic service. We had someone named Zach as our server. Try the ricotta meatballs ! Really good. And the halibut was great to
Good food. Great service. I was here for a private diner and loved it so much I came back
came in during the snowstorm!! Sat at a table near a window in the back. It was very fun to watch the snow fall. I drank the bordeaux by the glass and my friend had the sparkling rosé. The fried brussel sprouts were delicious! I loved the dover sole. I mentioned how I wished for more sauce and the server heard me and brought out some extra! :)
Amazing restaurant. Scott took great care of us. I had the salmon. My client had the Dover sole. Huge wine list. Good wine prices, too! This will be my go to place for business dinners.
Overpriced for the value of food. Came highly recommended, unfortunately, I felt like the food fell flat.
I sat in the bar area, by the kitchen window. It was fun to watch our food prepared! We ate the tuna ap to start, then I had the pasta with meatballs and my friend had the salmon. Everything was great! Will be back :)
Excellent food and service. They had a broad selection of cocktails, wine and beer. We celebrated a birthday and he restaurant was very accommodative.
Best restaurant in philadelphia the food and staff are extraordinary , the setting and decor are hip and the owners are always there !!
Savona is our favorite restaurant on the Main Line. It is consistently exceptional. The food is always expertly done. We can't find pasta this well prepared anywhere. Eating pasta at Savona is like a religious experience. However, it is the service that sets it apart from other restaurant we go to. There is a certain professionalism. The staff knows everything about every dish. The sommelier is friendly and always makes us feel comfortable selecting wine. We are always welcomed and never experience being intimidated at Savona. Best restaurant on the Main Line.
What an awesome bar area! I love the open kitchen. Super sleek and modern. I like the more casual look better than the table cloths
Once again, Savona knocks it out of the park! Every time I go in, I feel like family and have an amazing meal. I dream about their pizzas and crudos!!! Chef Drew deserves a Michelin star further complimented by the outstanding service!
Have not been at the restaurant for years. Went because they were part of Restaurant week in King of Prussia. The meal the 4 of us had was very good. I had a special (Skate) prepared great. Result we would go back
loved the last word cocktail!!! what a great combination of flavors! Brad is awesome
