Amazing al fresco dining... excellent taste and presentation, superb flavours and preparation. Knowledgeable, friendly service.
The service was great they were friendly and attentive. The food was good and it was a quiet area.
Great food and patio ! If you want authentic Spanish food and sangria this is the place to go!
My favourite Sangria in the city! Nice patio, secluded even in the middle of downtown.
A great restaurant, service and food. So sad no one is going due to COVID. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
It was good
We continue to return to this restaurant for unique Mediterranian dining, relaxed atmosphere and great service.
Good food. Good service.
Limited selection and a little overpriced... Octopus main $42 - should be not more than $35 very max.
We came here for a fancy date night We chose to sit outside (covid19, beautiful weather) which still had a beautiful relaxed vibe.
The Manchengo churros were a great dish that you didn't know you needed. The Spanish Octopus was a plate of heaven (served on a creamy potato puree with truffle aoili!!! And the seafood ceviche was the best ceviche my gf and I have ever had.
The only thing that did not 'wow' us is the seafood paella, it was loaded with mussels (shell on), so it felt like we were eating a bowl of mussels, there were 2 shrimp and no other seafood and the rice was dry and stuck to the bottom of the pan.
Overall, great dining experience and I will be back for that ceviche and octopus!
Great food, nice place, good service. Very good experience.
Excellent tapas. Good Service. Good wine selection.
first visit after COVID started. outdoor patio seating was not crowded. service was good and prompt. menu reduced from before but still very delicious. the paella was excellent. they said the menu will be expanded again later. can't wait to visit again.
Dined on the patio. I think the menu has become a little more limited versus other times that I have been to this restaurant. I completely understand given Covid impact. I saw the staff doing very thorough cleaning as they set up tables. Servers where great in terms of attentiveness, friendliness and attention to detail. Even with a more limited menu we found the Octopus, Ceviche and Paella were all excellent. They did seem to be doing a good amount of take-out. I will continue to support this restaurant whenever I can.
Server and ambiance were fantastic. Drinks were just alright, as was the food. Perhaps we ordered some dishes we just were not crazy about and should have stuck with familiar options like the charcuterie and cheese boards, which are always a hit.
Honestly, such an incredible experience. The food was spectacular, the service was perfect, there was a Spanish guitar player so to experience live music again after many months of quiet due to COVID was such a heavenly experience.
Great patio - very safe - great food and experience as always.
Food and service were excellent.i was really happy food was very very good loved it..
Great patio and the best food experience since Stage 3 re-opening!
Beautiful patio, well-spaced out, friendly (and masked) staff, and delicious seafood paella. Great for a local date night and we'll definitely be coming back!
We tried two types of sangria - they were both super! The patio was great, staff were attentive and clearly safety-minded. We had a really lovely time. Thank you!
Great atmosphere we sat inside. Dinner was excellent
Zero complaints we had the best dinner
Very desappointed ! Too expensive for the quality of food served
Super delicious food! Our server was very lovely and chatty! Will be back!
Amazing as always
Excellent drinks and food!!! Incredible customer experience!!!
Best ever place for food and drinks. Cocktails are on point
Awesome food..great vibe and ambiance. They make fantastic tasty cocktails too!! We will be back.
This is not Spanish, food plates are flavorless and expensive. Octopus dish with cheese did not go i prefer garlic olive oil grilled and for $42 there was not allot there. Same with shrimp dish portions size tiny. Paella was burnt and flavorless, really bad. With an expensive $100 bottle of red and dessert $315 with tip close to 4 totally not worth it. Very disappointed will not recommend to go at all.
Delicious food, took us right back to being in Spain.
Main was delivered 45 minutes after the appetizers
Food was good as usual, really liked the live music on the patio. Service was ok.
Sangria was amazing!! Ceviche was really good as well
I love Barsa. The music is good. Service is on point. Great wine list. Food outstanding
Their food used to be better. Their paella was mostly peas and their service are inexperienced. We asked for a glass of water 3 times.
Excellent . We loved the new menu
My Husband’s 60th Birthday
Ordered the Octopus and although it was tender and tasty we received two small tentacles. Not worth the $30 price. Maybe if it was $10-15. The seafood paella smelt smoky - turns out the rice on the bottom was burnt. Mussels were dry and tiny. Shrimps were tasty as were the clams. But there was no fish or scallops or chicken or sausages which are typically included in paella. Again not worth the $50 price tag. My date and I shared both dishes. Left hungry. Best part of the evening was the Spanish wine and the ambiance is very nice. Service was good and it’s a busy popular place. But perhaps their tapas would have been a better choice.
Absolutely beautiful and unusual place to eat and enjoy the ambiance. Our server was super .... good at her job and very nice into the bargain. Made good choices..... The tasting menu was good and varied, however I was a bit surprised it did not contain any red meat at all. Everything was interesting and beautifully prepared and presented. I enjoyed the time, the company, the location and the food. Sangria was ok, not superb and we had a leisurely dinner with friends with lots of laughs and good food. Enjoyable and would recommend.
Food was outstanding and our waiter, Ali, was amazing at helping us negotiate the menu.
The noise level in the back room was not energetic but LOUD - so they quickly moved us to the front of the house where we enjoyed that energetic atmosphere and could actually hear each other!
