Barrett's Grill Ratings and Reviews
Had a Valentine’s dinner with my husband and 2 sons. The crab cakes were really good! My son has never finished a single crab cake. He ate both of his crab cakes and he loved the shoestring fries too. My husband and I shared a crab cake meal and fries and we enjoyed it as well! Will definitely be back for sure!
We went for Valentine’s and we had made reservations. We were seated right away and everything was excellent. Even though the seating was close to the other table, we could still converse easily. The waiter was attentive but not intrusive. The food was served hot and with its usual flair. It was my boyfriend’s first time and he loved it and definitely wants to go back. I have been several times for dinner with my girlfriends and the food and service is always excellent and delicious
We have been to Barrett’s Grill many times. Every time has been a wonderful experience. Tonight we happened to be there with our small grandchildren one of which is only 12 months old. The waiter realizing that we had a baby at the table brought a plate of fruit and whipped cream for him to eat while we waited for our meals which was above and beyond. It was such a considerate gesture. Just can’t say enough about how wonderful this restaurant is and the food is always delicious
Always enjoy our visits to Barrett's. Food is always good. Today, Kirsten, a server who waited on us six months ago passed our table. She smiled and said "Welcome back. Good to see you again." She was so genuine, a simple comment that was greatly appreciated.
Pleasantly surprised with a Restaurant Week menu! We both ordered the corn and crab chowder and the steak salad for $15.18 pp. For an additional $3 dessert could be added. Big lumps of crab in a creamy well-seasoned chowder. Steak in the salad was tender and a bit teriyaki flavored it seemed. We liked the dressing flavor as well! We always love Barrett’s and highly recommend it for lunch or dinner.
Wonderful meal at Barrett's Grill. Our server, Liana, did a wonderful job of taking care of our party of 7. Part of our group ordered off of the Restaurant Week menu - the rest of us ordered off the regular menu. All our food was wonderful - prime rib, pork chops, herbed chicken, short ribs. Love the mushroom/bacon risotto. Definitely will recommend and will continue to count Barrett's Grill as a family favorite.
We have visited this location many times and are always impressed by the staff as well as the delicious food. This time we went for the Restaurant Week Menu but instead chose dishes from the Brunch Menu. One of us ordered an omelet and the other ordered Maryland Benedict. Both were delicious! The Maryland Benedict was piled with crabmeat! At first we weren't going to order dessert but when we heard that the cobbler was black cherry we decided to share one. I have to say that Barrett's Grill has the best coffee, by far, of any restaurant that I have been to in the Maryland area. Thanks Barrett's for another great memory!
This was our first time here and we were not disappointed! Christopher our waiter was informative and quick. He did a great job taking care of our needs. The food was outstanding. The neopolitan dessert was the best next to the seasonal black cherry cobbler. All good! We’ll be back!
We happened to hit the restaurant week tasting and all ended up eating from that menu. All the food was delish and the price was quite good. Bar was very crowded and busy which resulted in delays getting alcoholic beverages but otherwise the service was great.
It was Baltimore County Restaurant week and the special menu was outstanding! We totally en joyed ourselves. We asked out waiter to move us the table where we were was cold and he was very gracious and moved us without any problem. He was great throughout the lunch. Also the manager came out and hoped we enjoy the lunch and the special things they had on the menu. We did indeed!!
Went to Barrett’s to celebrate with family and friends my wife’s passing the PMP exam. We were seated at the chefs table located in a private room near the kitchen. This is one of my go to date night spots. The food and service was great as usual. Can’t wait to go back!
We were referred to Barrett's Grill by a friend and tried it out for the first time this past Saturday. We made reservations in advance and arrived a little early. They were very busy with a 15 or so minute wait. We were seated promptly at our scheduled time. Our waiter (Christopher) was very attentive. Our appetizer and salads were brought to the table very soon after ordering. We had the Shrimp Cargot appetizer, which was amazing. Martinis were well prepared as well. I had the Prime Rib, which was a little overcooked from medium but nothing I couldn't deal with. My wife had the Scallops. All in all a great experience and a place we will plan to return to.
It is time to update the menu. The lobster roll is a keeper, but the crab corn chowder needs a reboot, maybe do lobster bisque or New England Clam Chowder over the winter. Also, when we were there for lunch, people around us were not wanting the jalopeno wrap. A nice club sandwich option would be welcome.
