We want our neighbors and guests visiting us in Northern Virginia to experience our region’s growing craft food and beverage industry. Purchasing local and creating handcrafted elements wherever possible, Barrel & Bushel embraces the philosophy of serving handmade, handcrafted, and hand-harvested food through a menu of regionally-inspired American food. Our food is complemented by our barrel-forward drink selections, completed by 22 local and regional craft beers on tap, more than 30 bourbons, and a wide assortment of unique wines and handcrafted cocktails that will satisfy any palate.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff, led by General Manager Amy Giles, are beer enthusiasts, wine lovers, spirit specialists and food fanatics. Stop by for a great time to meet the team.     Great food, the bread for the dip was scarce, we had to ask them to bring out more bread multiple times. Took them a loooong time to bring the first set of drinks out, but the food made up for it when it did come out. I think the service could have been more attentive but was good enough.

    Our food was excellent, and the service was great. We didn’t feel rushed at all to eat, and then leave. We had a very relaxed lunch. The noise level was a bit loud for us. I think due to the hard surfaces in the space, but we loved all the light coming into the restaurant. We will definitely be going back!

    Came here for happy hour with a friend. We ordered pretzel, deviled eggs and mini chicken sliders. Plates were overpriced even with happy hour discount and not worth it. I was hoping for something better on their menu for happy hour. Service was poor, our waiter was not helpful.

    I had a date night there with my husband and it was such a nice experience. The food was good, the service was great and the night was amazing! Can’t wait to be back

    Wanted to eat light. Shared the Mediterranean salad bowl and a crab cake with my date. Delicious and the crab cake is cooked perfectly. Will definitely go again.

    Had dinner here with a buddy last night and we had a great experience. I got the Salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Very moist and flaky. My buddy got the Turley sandwich and he said "this might be in the top 5 sandwiches I have ever eaten". I will definitely be going back, the food was awesome.
