We want our neighbors and guests visiting us in Northern Virginia to experience our region’s growing craft food and beverage industry.     Food was pretty good, nothing great. The cocktails that my husband ordered though was not good at all. It did not taste remotely close to a manhattan. The old fashion tasted weird too. You can tell that the bartender did not take his time to make the drinks right. Its unfortunate.

    Did a lunch with some colleagues. Service was ok but a bit slow, and not terribly attentive. I think that the vibe of the place is more fun in an evening for drinks. Food was decent.

    I ate here last night for the first time and the atmosphere and food was GREAT. Everyone in my party raved about the portion, flavor and taste of their food. We sat outside and based off that experience I would like to offer the following feedback. Since the patio tables don’t have a dedicated server/wait person and you have to order from the app defaulting the tip to 20% is bold seeing the wait person only brings you your food. Also we asked a couple of the wait staff (two separate orders that came out at different times) to bring us a couple of additional items like ketchup and then napkins. We never received those items. On my next visit to the patio I will give minimal tip when I order and then leave additional cash based off the service.

    The Pub sliders were to die for. The tomato soup and grilled cheese were good. The soup a bit too acidic, but the flavor and consistency just about made up for the acidity. The grilled and bacon cheese was on texas toast was hearty and filling and grilled nicely. While I didn't have the chorizo sandwich, one person in our party felt it was too spicy and overwhelmed the other flavors of the egg and avacado. You did warn in the menu that it was spicy chorizo so there's that. Overall an excellent meal and our waiter was great!

    I was late to arrive. once seated with my party, it took several attempts to get our server’s attention. He forgot my drink order which irritated my cousins who were treating me for my belated birthday. Once our food was served, he was very attentive, so I think, overall, the service was good.

    The food was amazing! I had the cornmeal pancakes and this was my first time eating it. All I can say is amazing. You get the feel that the chefs go above and beyond to please the customer. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the food. I will definitely come back again.

    Nice place to get in and get out quickly. Nice diversity on menu, and they do some local farm sourcing so that is nice. Food was tasty enough. Service very prompt and they want you out quick. Lovely decor and lots of parking with parking deck.

    We started with the trio of dips, which we love! I had the turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich. The sandwich was too much for the bread so it fell apart. We had a reservation for 545 pm but got seated early, which was nice.

    I ordered the smoked cheese crab soup. It was so good, I had everyone at the table try a bite. It was ridiculous good. Very rich and heavy. At first I was disappointed you can only order a bowl, not a cup. However after I tried it, I was very happy with my bowl. Others had chicken sandwiches and one person had the grill cheese and tomato soup. The tomato soup was typical tomato soup, but the grill cheese was impressive and a huge sandwich. Our waiter was fantastic. He was stretched with several large parties, but he was running! He really went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great experience.

    Our waitress only came over when we tried to get her attention. Our food was delivered, and she never brought us silverware. We had to ask another waiter. Finally she came over and told us she needed to close out our bill because she was leaving. Was not impressed.

    Overall, it was an OK birthday dinner. The waitress was nice but very busy. She was handling way too many tables and just stretched too thin. The food was "meh".

    Good is awesome, setting is great and the beer is good. However, post COVID service isn't there yet. Seems like either the servers don't know what good service is or just don't care.

    I love this restaurant as it is close to my office. But I'd hesitate to go back right now and suggest others do so as well as there are some issues. Not sure if it is an inability to hire staff or what but there is conflicting information about whether you have to use cash or credit and what food is now available on what used to be a robust menu. No one seemed to care and we left before ordering as we truly didn't understand what was going on.
