Fantastic service, the staff made sure we had everything we needed and wanted.
Not a fan of forced communal tables but it wasn’t too bad. Our server was great. Ordered the pretzel to share (excellent) along with the grilled romaine salad (ok). Dinner was pub burger for him and chicken sandwich for me. Both were good, fries were great.
It's a good location for gatherings with friends, both in terms of location and in terms of accommodations
B&B sits on top of the Tyson's Hyatt promenade - along with Eddie V's, Shake Shack & others. We ventured in for date-night on Friday and it was packed with a mix of hipsters, millennials and families. So, a pretty eclectic mix. The restaurant is open-themed and trendy with a lively bar and standing tables. The food selection, especially the small plates was broad and diverse and the quality of the food was outstanding ( Pub Sliders, Smoked Aubergine and Crab-Avocado toast all get two thumbs up here). We only wished the noise level was a tad lower, which we wanted for our Valentine's Day dinner - but all in all a great place ! Will be back to sample the brunch !
Restaurant is located inside the hotel. The server was a bit forgetful, but he was very nice. Food was well proportioned and flavorful. Another waiter recommended the Delmonico over the Flat Iron because the fat content brings out a better flavor. The Flat Iron Steak that we ordered could have been seasoned a little better to get a nice char. Our preparation request was Pittsburgh medium and we had to salt and pepper it a little.
Overall the food was good, and I would recommend.
Food was great for dinner and we plan to come back to just enjoy the bar and order sliders.
It was hard to find/get to if you aren't familiar with the area. Super loud due to happy hour. Appetizers (crab/artichoke toast and chicken sliders) were decent although the toast was a bit soggy. Of the 5 of us there, 3 of us had an entrée salad. Salads were just OK, bland. Tomato soup needing seasoning. A friend had the tomato/burrata sandwich another had the turkey salad sandwich, both enjoyed them. Be aware that the restaurant does not split checks into more than 4 and does not accept more than 4 credit cards (5 of us were there and could not split check down the middle with 5 credit cards). Our server wasn't good. Dumped tea on my leg/foot, didn't clean up the floor from spill and although he brought me a napkin for my leg didn't see overly apologetic about the accident. He barley stopped by table/not attentive, would catch him watching TV when we needed something and were trying to find him. 4 times tried to get his attention to give him our payment, final time he kind of rudely walked past and put his finger up telling us to hold on (honestly, the guy wasn't busy enough to warrant that). Would go again to try something other than the soups and salads but won't rush back any time soon.
Food was good for the most part, server was somewhat inattentive. Slightly disappointing to not have any brunch beverage specials.
It was a nice experience, I was out with my girlfriend and at times it was difficult to have conversation but we don’t have a problem with at but some may
We had a great time for my friend’s birthday. We ordered small plates and thought everything was pretty good. The sliders, Frito chile, and tater tots were highlights. Our server however was not the best. He seemed annoyed and distracted. A female server at an adjacent section was very nice though.
Very noisy. Took 1 15 mins to get food. No apologies ir accommodations made by staff.
Good place, good food!
Our server was amazing! Friendly and attentive.
We got our food before our drinks, but the food was deliciously bougie. We shared appetizers: cheeses, tuna lettuce wraps, and crab avocado toast. The tuna was very flavorful, certainly the aphrodisiac. Strong drinks!
Wonderfully innovative menu in a very cool, loft-like atmosphere. Only downside is the noise, but that's what you get with such a popular place. Had the salmon and fried rice, both of which were delish, particularly the salmon.
Terrible service. Would not recommend to people that are wishing to have a good meal and conversation. Drinks with millennials, sure.
Our server, Wes, was the best! He helped make it a great night!
Appetizers , Entrees and Cocktails were excellent. Some of the tastiest food I have had in quite a while. Have to try the pork belly and Hot Chicken
Excellent selection of beers and wines. Great atmosphere..
We've been to B&B several times, but this was our first brunch. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be brunching there again!
Great atmosphere and food! Will return
Excellent. I'm sure it is very busy during happy hour. My early lunch was perfect. Good salad, good beer, excellent service. They had child seat, kids menu, and colored pencils for my unexpected guest.
food and service were fantastic. the “after work” crowd at the bar were pretty loud and stayed way past happy hour
The service was very slow on a day that wasn't so crowded. One of our meals was missing and we had to repeated flag down the server.
Great staff. Truly good service. But this is hotel food and drinks at its worst. Very conventional, seemed like it probably came in a bag from costco. thick sauces, average, too sweet, mediocre drink list.
Wait staff made an error, so took a while to get our food but it was delicious. Lots of business folks all week so pretty loud. Very nice atmosphere.
Hard to find but worth the effort. The crab soup with avocado is wonderful.
We let our waiter know it was our first time and he told us about the restaurant and gave us recommendations. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and open. We definitely recommend it and will go back!
Cocktails are creative and delicious. Pork belly, avocado toast was delicious but deviled eggs were a little bland. Scallops and salmon were a hit.
This is my second experience at Barrel and bushel and it was disappointing. The service was good but the food was subpar. The BBQ sliders were so dry and tough and so was the crust of the apple galette. I almost sent it back but the server was so sweet.
Awesome place for breakfast or brunch and lunch too!
The place is so bright and quiet and would definitely go back
It was great as usual!
Little disappointed with the service. Our waiter did not make any recommendations and had a stoic face the entire time only to say "what do you want" when ordering, which led me to believe he was not happy about serving us. As a person who has worked in the food industry for many years in the past it is crucial to be enthusiastic and friendly when serving customers. It adds so much more value to the experience and I feel that our service was flat. Two of my guests were from out of town and while they enjoyed the food they mentioned that they would much rather try something different because they did not care for the service.
We went for NYE. Had a really good dinner with a cocktail and glass of wine each. Overall good meal but kind of pricey for what they served. Ambiance was great and not too loud. Perfect for a date night.
Hard to find. The ad should just say it is inside the hotel. Not everyone (mall employee and law enforcement) know how to get there from inside the mall.
Service was good. Food was decent. Ambiance ok. Clean and bright. No problems.
Service problem: since when is the main dish brought before soup and then everything at once. Restaurant wasn’t busy so it surprising that we had to look for a server to take our order. Pub burger was so greasy that I was sick for the rest of the night. I’m not going back.
We unexpectedly went out to dinner on Christmas. It was one of the few restaurants open and available for reservations. The staff were cheerful, helpful and the food was good. The scallops were outstanding.
Had a Christmas dinner reservation for 6 at 4:15 PM. The restaurant was busy but not too crowded all night. It was a lovely evening and good place for a family ranging from ages one to 66. I wish the vegan options were broader as there was no bun option and I was told the meatless meatballs were made with egg. So I got to eat a lettuce wrapped Beyond Burger which wasn’t very exciting. The local craft beer selection was much wider ranging and sufficient.
Our server was nice enough but forgot to put our orders in with the kitchen after taking them, delaying the arrival of our food (and this for a holiday meal) by an hour. One of the orders was also put in incorrectly, resulting in a further delay. I credit the server with being honest, and not blaming the mistake on the kitchen, but this was a bit hard to understand at a time when the restaurant wasn't really very crowded. Fortunately we weren't in a hurry, but the experience did make a meal a lot less enjoyable than it could have been.
