This was our second visit and we will be regulars. We really like the food and the prices are right where they should be for the food quality. We saw that a deep dish takes 40 minutes to bake so we “pre-ordered” it. (That is, they put the order in as soon as we were seated.) Our only disappointment was that the salad we ordered took so long that is was delivered to us with the pizza— which was done in less than 30 minutes. Nevertheless, it was a very good evening and I can’t wait to go back. Next Friday?
Food was very good, but service was not great. Food took a long time to arrive. The waitress who was new forgot 1 of our dinners. Almost everyone else was finished eating when it finally arrived. Soup was cold. We have been here in the past. 1st time not satisfied with our treatment.
The food and service were very good and appreciate the value
The food was good, but the booth was very cramped, and the service was rather slow.
We had a family of 11 and sat in the bar area. It was just tight for us and the wait staff. People kept bumping into my 81 year old mother in law and she was getting upset. Would have preferred the dinning room but I will make sure request next time.
Food was good but we were overcharged and not allowed to use our coupon. Service was very slow.
Got there and they thought I said another name for a party if 10 and told me a few minutes..after 15 minutes I asked how much longer..said they didn’t have my name on there reservations..showed my open table reservation and said open table never notified them ..said they were very busy and would try to seat us..after I asked for a manager they said they were getting a table together....waitress we finally got was Wonderful and took good care of us!
Great place to meet friends and family for dinner or pizza
Food was good. Service was slow for the place being almost empty. Waitress for got our antipasto salad manager gave us salad for free. Was very dark could barely read menus. Food was good enough to give second chance.
Service was really slow, they were busy, but not that busy. We sent back two entrees because they were awful. All in all a bad experience.
When I arrived at 615 they told me they couldn't take my reservation on open table and I would need to wait 30 minutes. I left and ate at another restaurant. The least they could have done was contacted me before I arrived.
Good local pizza. They don't know if they want to be a nice restaurant or bar
Bridget the bar tender was just a joy to talk to it was a good night will back
My only complaint is that we had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Why be a restaurant on open table if you cannot honor reservations? Kind of defeats the purpose would you not say? They kept saying the kitchen was busy. There were plenty of empty tables, so that was kind of a crazy excuse.
Ordered fried, not deep fried-breaded cauliflower. We were disappointed to get what we didn't want. Before we even took the food we told our server this is not what we expected. All we got was sorry. Waited for first stuffed artichoke-never came, there was a problem. When I did get the item it was terrible-mushy, water logged and just plain bad. Sent that one back and asked to have removed from bill. Clearly at this point our server should have noticed that your establishment was not living up to expectations and offered some type of compensation-NOTHING. No dessert or after order a bottle of wine, not even a glass. Customer service is not important so won't recommend or go back.
Had never been here but gave it a try based on ratings in Open Table - great food and good services what more can you ask for
Very good pizza. Loved the deep dish. Service was a little slow but overall a good experience
Was disappointed with the open table reservation as when I arrived at Barraco's I was immediately told that there would be a wait and handed a beeper. 15 minutes later we were seated but the grandkids were a bit restless at that point. We ordered an appetizer to hold us over only to be told they were out of some of the ingredients and had to substitute things. Paying attention to small details could have made this a much better experience.
Just good & average all across the board
Our reservation was at 4:30 on Sunday.Early enough to enjoy the Sunday specials which we all liked. There were no Sunday specials left. Rather odd for so early.
Our server was very patient with us & our kids. Pizza was good. Usually I do takeout but we dined there.
We have been to Barraco's several times and the wine list continues to impress!! The menu is quite long and the food is good. The last time we were there the restaurant was pretty empty and unfortunately they turned up the volume on the tvs - we left very quickly after because we could not hear each other talk. On other occasions the crowd noise was elevated but the tvs were not and we could still sit and have a good time. I am sure we will go back, but only when they are busy.
Located close to us so convenient. Have great food and we've used them for catering as well. Terrific pizza. Can't go wrong.
We went for dinner 4 adults and 2 toddlers dinner started off good, but by the end it was going downhill fast. The positives...great to bring kids. It's fairly loud, so no one really noticed our children, and we didn't feel like we needed to keep quieting them. They bring bread very quickly to your table which is nice. Ambiance overall is very nice. The portions are huge though. The negatives, some drinks were never brought to our table. Our waitress disappeared for long periods of time. Food was mediocre at best. They over sauce everything, not much flavor. After salads we didn't see our dinner for over 45 minutes with 2 toddlers. Couldn't find our waitress. The food finally came out and it was lukewarm to cold. Would go back for pizza.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!
DONT GO TO THE RESTAURANT.
WE NEVER RECIEVED OUR ORDER
WE WERE THERE FOR 45 MINUTES AND ASK IF OUR WAITER COULD CHECK ON OUR ORDER. HE NEVER CAME BACK WITH A REPLY. WALKED OUT BUT BEFORE WE DID WE STOPPED AT THE FRONT DESK TO ADVISE THE FLOOR MANAGER OF OUR SERVICE. HE ASKED IF BEFORE WE LEFT IF HE COULD CHECK TO SEE WHAT HAPPEN. HE CAME BACK AND STATED THAT WE WERE NOT THERE FOR 45 MINUTE BUT ARRIVED ONLY 10 MINUTES. REALLY !
SO BASICALLY HE CALLED US LIARS. I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ON YELP. 26 COMPLAINTS.
I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SOMETHING WAS UP WHEN THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY WHEN WE ARRIVED.
WAY OVER PRICED 4 ORLAND PARK.
I HAD TO RATE THE FOOD POOR OR I COULDNT WRITE A REVIEW (COULDN'T LEAVE IT BLANK)
We had a great time! Bridget was absolutely wonderful and funny. We'll be back for sure and hopefully Bridget will be there to take care of our every need.
We had a party of 12 and we were waited on immediately by a very pleasant waitress. When she realized they had run out of the complimentary bread she instead brought out two plates of garlic bread without us even asking. Very nice setting for large or small groups; families too! We will definitely be returning! Pizza was delicious too!
First off- what kind of Italian restaurant with pride had olive oil from Greece on the table?
Second- just not quite worth their prices; charge less, deliver more.
Decor/ambiance ok, food only so-so. Many better Italian restaurants within 15 minutes of here.
The pizza was great especially with the Ddition of extra cheese. The antipasto salad was enough for four people!
We'll eat there again.
Very accommodating for large party. Food and service was great and at tentative. Have been there with small group for lunch and large group for dinner. Always excellent.
We were very unhappy with our server, Kyle. He was very intrusive and didn't seem to have much knowledge on the menu. We were all happy with our meals and love the warm bread. The half price wine was a wonderful surprise.
Very nice place... Dinner was fantastic! Will be going again
We went there for a party and received horrible service. Unfriendly staff and slow moving. The pizza was not much better than your average frozen pizza. When we received the bill(we had a package) we were charged for every child there, the children ranged from 3 months old to 3 years old and children 3 and under were supposed to be free. Had to fight with the manager to fix the bill and when she finally did she was very rude about it. It turned a special day for us into nothing but stress. We won't be returning.
Great food.....too noisy of an atmosphere if trying to catch-up with friends. We were seated right in front of a party room and they did not close the door. The music was also very, very loud. (And I am a fan of loud music!) Just not when dining. Maybe we were under the speakers?
Great food, great old fashioned scenery, nice service. Loved it, with my girlfriend.
The bread and oil tasted great. The sausage and mushroom pizza we had was good, but was lacking a bit more cheese and could have been better. Our server was very nice. We hope to return sometime.
