Barolo Grill Ratings and Reviews
Excellent meal and wonderful service! My Dad and I both had the scallops and they were excellent. My husband had the beef tenderloin and he loved it. We will definitely return again soon!!!
Always a great experience! Food, as always, was fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. We will be back.
Wonderful evening made even more special by Carmen's service. We had the foie gras terrine appetizer, as well as the veal tonnato. Terrific combination of flavors in each. The wine Carmen recommended to accompany our meals was perfect.
None of the 5 dishes we tried were outstanding. All were good but none outstanding. Wine by the glass was in the $30/glass range, too expensive for comfort so we settled for a good bottle of white which accompanied our dinner dishes well, for about $55. Good place to visit once and have a good evening but if looking for value, go elsewhere.
Barolo is right up the street from our house, we love it. The food and wine list are world class. I believe the entire royal family could eat there and come out saying it is quite possibly the best meal they have had! The food is exquisite, the servers do not miss a beat. Barolo is truly a gem in our community and we are so happy to have the privelage of dining there. Thank You so much Barolo!
Truly my favorite restaurant in Denver despite all the new additions to the food scene.
The service and the food is amazing. My favorite new spot to go to. Did they truffle tasting and it was amazing!
Great meal and service overall! Excellent wine list! Highlight was the salad and the pasta dishes. Dessert was good but not great; small portion.
We both had the Bream. Fish portions seemed small, liked the cauliflower. The Bream tasted more like trout. The lobster salad was too bitter with the lettuce. Pasta seemed fishy. Disappointed, food did not meet expectations. I have eaten here before and had very nice meals. This was just not one of them. Very nice atmosphere. Wait staff was very attentive.
Always great! Wait staff is great with food and wine recommendations. Food is dome of the best in Denver
The cheese soufflé appetizer is outstanding. The autumn salad was also a hit. A couple of us had the gnocchi and loved it. The butternut squash agnolotti was soooo good! And the mushroom cavatelli was my favorite. Most of us just got two half plates of pasta, but one of us ordered the pork entree and it was equally yummy. There were 5 of us and we all loved it! Service was attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Barolo Grill!
The table in front of the fireplace was an unbelievable surprise. We cannot thank you enough for this very special treatment for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration dinner.
Outstanding anniversary dinner at Barolo Grill! Food was terrific, staff was perfect - our waiter brought samples of the cheeses in the dishes to taste before we chose the tasting menu to settle my wife's concerns about liking them, and the ambiance was elegant yet relaxed. We look forward to our next special occasion to visit again!
Great experience. The owners and staff provide the best, most attentive service. Best Piemonte wine list possibly between Chicago and West Coast. Food is consistent and well delivered.
Fabulous food and atmosphere. An amazing wine list.
Barolo is always a positive dining experience. From the breadsticks and olive-bean dipping sauce to the creme brûlée, our server answered all of our questions and took very good care of us. The best of the best- the risotto. A must-have dish. Love that the pasta course comes in three sizes, a tasting, half as well as full order.
Thank you, Barolo, for a date night that was spectacular.
We had personable, smart servers who took excellent care of us. We're glad we came early as the place was overflowing with patrons and expectant guests. Nice to know a place that deserves its excellent reputation of good food and excellent service.
What incredible service, let alone then food. Staff was the most kind and perfectly attentive I’ve seen in a while. Great timing. An experience to remember.
Excellent italian restaurant with a scrumptious service. Homemade food with a point of sophistication and adequate servings. I highly recommend this place, definitely a must for a special date. I loved it and a hidden gem for visitors.
The Barolo Grill has wonderful food, excellent service and a fine wine list, including wines by the glass. This is certainly one of Denver's top restaurants.
The wife and I went for our 6 month anniversary while visiting Denver from San Francisco. The food and service were excellent! The restaurant felt very authentic Italian. Also the best crème brûlée we've ever had. Barolo Grill definitely lives up to all the accolades.
Great food and wine! The place is nice, cozy, modern and romantic. They prepared a dairy-free meal for me that was delicious.
It seems terribly difficult to find a great restaurant with excellent food where one can hear oneself think. We appreciate Barolo’s ambiance, cuisine and service, but also the quiet!
Everything was exceptional, from valet, to drinks at the bar, to food and service, wine list, through dessert. We got the table next to the fireplace. If you're on a date, you should request it too.
Barolo Grill once again had an outstanding and creative menu. From the start of the meal to the end, every course was exceptional. The service is also 5 star. Even though it was busy, we were able to have a conservation and be able to hear everyone at our table. The staff is friendly and professional and we never felt as though we were being rushed. It's really a fine dining experience and I understand how the Barolo Grill is always in the top 10 restaurants to dine at.
Perfect, from beginning to end. Took my husband there to celebrate his birthday. We were given a lovely table in front of the fireplace. Excellent service - friendly, knowledgeable and incredible food. Could not have been any better
Me and mom came to celebrate birthday! This was our third time and every time is amazing! The food was delicious service was great! Server made great suggestions from the menu!
The food was exceptional and so was the service. You must try the pastas. All of them were amazing! They have tasting, half and full servings so you can try each one.
