Barolo Grill Ratings and Reviews
Barolo is right up the street from our house, we love it. The food and wine list are world class. I believe the entire royal family could eat there and come out saying it is quite possibly the best meal they have had! The food is exquisite, the servers do not miss a beat. Barolo is truly a gem in our community and we are so happy to have the privelage of dining there. Thank You so much Barolo!
We both had the Bream. Fish portions seemed small, liked the cauliflower. The Bream tasted more like trout. The lobster salad was too bitter with the lettuce. Pasta seemed fishy. Disappointed, food did not meet expectations. I have eaten here before and had very nice meals. This was just not one of them. Very nice atmosphere. Wait staff was very attentive.
The cheese soufflé appetizer is outstanding. The autumn salad was also a hit. A couple of us had the gnocchi and loved it. The butternut squash agnolotti was soooo good! And the mushroom cavatelli was my favorite. Most of us just got two half plates of pasta, but one of us ordered the pork entree and it was equally yummy. There were 5 of us and we all loved it! Service was attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Barolo Grill!
Outstanding anniversary dinner at Barolo Grill! Food was terrific, staff was perfect - our waiter brought samples of the cheeses in the dishes to taste before we chose the tasting menu to settle my wife's concerns about liking them, and the ambiance was elegant yet relaxed. We look forward to our next special occasion to visit again!
Barolo is always a positive dining experience. From the breadsticks and olive-bean dipping sauce to the creme brûlée, our server answered all of our questions and took very good care of us. The best of the best- the risotto. A must-have dish. Love that the pasta course comes in three sizes, a tasting, half as well as full order.
Thank you, Barolo, for a date night that was spectacular.
The wife and I went for our 6 month anniversary while visiting Denver from San Francisco. The food and service were excellent! The restaurant felt very authentic Italian. Also the best crème brûlée we've ever had. Barolo Grill definitely lives up to all the accolades.
Barolo Grill once again had an outstanding and creative menu. From the start of the meal to the end, every course was exceptional. The service is also 5 star. Even though it was busy, we were able to have a conservation and be able to hear everyone at our table. The staff is friendly and professional and we never felt as though we were being rushed. It's really a fine dining experience and I understand how the Barolo Grill is always in the top 10 restaurants to dine at.
This was the second time in about two months that I had eaten at Barolo Grill. My party of five enjoyed the evening, but the overall experience was reduced by the level of noise. It was a busy Friday evening. My chair was jostled by guests passing back and forth. The noise level was so loud that almost shouting was necessary to be heard. Persons on the opposite side of the table could not hear what was being said. We ended up talking to the person in the chair next to us. I'm not sure that this can be remedied. I might ask for a table in a corner and see if that helped. Lanny Hunter
We have heard about this restaurant for many years and finally had the good fortune to viait there last Saturday evening.
The food was creative, delicious and served at just the right temperature.
Our server was very attentive and did not rush us but was there whenever we needed her. It is evident now why Barolo Grill receives such high marks in a busy Denver restaurant market.
Can't wait to go back!!
The food and service were exceptional. Usually we find this sort of restaurant and experience tucked away in a small Italian village. It is wonderful to know that we don't have to travel to Italy for such a delightful culinary experience. We will certainly return to Barolo Grill in the near future!
