We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Our server Nicole was excellent, making the dinner even more enjoyable.
Wow! From the seating experience to the overall wait staff and food, this place was amazing!
Always a great meal with wonderful, knowledgeable staff. Three starts on service this visit because the kitchen was very slow.
We had a delicious meal and service was attentive & gracious.
This visit happened to be a special occasion, but we dine here anytime we want to feel special.
As usual, everything was spot on. From the addictive breadsticks and the house rosemary rolls to the 3 courses we picked out, we were so happy with all!
The salad was a big bowl of springtime, and enough to share, since we had already thoroughly enjoyed an appetizer duo of the special octopus and the amberjack crudo. The flavors were layers of deliciousness
Our entree consisted of the seafood bisque risotto with crab and pickled celery root and a side dish of lightly fried artichoke.
Thanks to Esther for her excellent professional service. We went home so happy that we depended on Barolo for our special evening.
Great service and delicious food. My wife and I selected the chef’s menu and the seasonal dishes had amazing flavor combinations.
Barolo Grill was awesome! This was the first time my wife and I ate there and we can’t wait to go there again! We are total foodies and everything we ate was delicious, cooked right, seasoned well, etc! Wine list is amazing! Missy was our waitress and she’s outstanding! We took her recommendations on food, wine, dessert, and it was all spot on! Great place and can’t wait to go there again!
Second visit to Barolo Grill doesn’t disappoint. Service in all areas is exceptional. Guests are treated warmly from the moment the valet parks your car to the greeting you receive when you walk into the restaurant and throughout the entire evening.
Barolo Grill truly wants each and every guest to have a memorable dining experience.
Food was beyond amazing and service was as well! Can’t go wrong with anything you get to eat here.
The food and service were really good. However, it was not worth $175 for two people. Had we paired wine it would have been another $60. Very overpriced!
Jason, thank you for your review. My apologies that you did not find value in your visit, we try to price our menu right in line with our peers. The tasting menu priced at $80 encompasses five courses with typically two additional intermezzo courses. The dishes on the tasting menu are typically quite labor-intensive, such as the housemade "Uovo Raviolo" with a English Pea/ricotta filling and a duck egg cooked into the pasta. We appreciate your feedback and we'll continue to monitor our prices.
We very much enjoyed the evening, but both my husband and I were disappointed by the menu. The menu choices were limited and did not include a seafood pasta dish. My sausage sauce was very greasy.
Great food, wine & ambiance!
We tried the chef’s tasting menu with the wine pairings because it was our first time here, we were happy we did. The octopus was amazing as was the wine that it was paired with, but there was not one thing we ate that we would not gladly order again. Next time we will order off the regular menu, but I would recommend trying the tasting menu to anyone.
Amazing food and amazing service. One of the best restaurants in Denver! The Sommelier is so helpful too.
The server was engaging and helpful and made ordering easy. The food was prepared quickly and tasted phenomenal. The tiramisu and creme brulee in particular were mouthwatering.
Loved the salad and the Primo Pietta pasta. Lamb was good, but not great Dessert was good.
Awesome dinner. Super service. Great selection of Italian wines.
Outstanding food and unmatched service. Impressive and unique wine selection with very knowledgeable servers making the perfect pairing for each course. They are willing to customize and share plates to give you a customized dining experience. A true treat.
Wonderful celebration of our 39th anniversary. THX Barolo!
Very flavorful food! Helpful wait staff, loved the wine pairing suggestions that were made. Outstanding wine list and service! Highly recommended
Excellent food, ambiance, and service! Our waitress Nichole really made this and exceptional experience. Would most definitely return.
Went for our wedding anniversary. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming. The food was divine. Very fancy dishes with memorable tastes. They have valet parking. Just pull up to the front, they meet you at your car. Moments after you walk out the door they arrive at front with your car. That's service! We will b back or sure.
We felt very taken care of during our recent birthday dinner visit to Barolo. The service and attention were excellent and the food very good. The menu was creative and dishes very nicely prepared and beautifully presented. We didn't experience that extra tiny bit of extra umph that knocks the socks off hence four instead of five stars. None the less, we had a lovely evening.
What else can I say besides 5 stars across! Last time I was at Barolo was many years ago, it continues to be a great restaurant. The food was terrific, nice wine selection, and desserts are a must.
We haven’t been to Barolo Grill for a long time, and I’m not exactly sure why. It was such a lovely evening! We started off with the four of us sharing the duck confit salad and the foie gras — both delicious. Our waitress was awesome! I have a gluten allergy and she spent a lot of time going over all of the menu options, and suggested a fantastic Italian red that was moderately priced as well. (So good that we actually enjoyed a second bottle!) As for the entrées, two of us had the mushroom pasta which was out of this world! My gluten-free version was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Someone else had the halibut which was so fresh and delicious. The only slight disappointment was the squid ink pasta. It was a little too spicy for our friends’s taste. We ended the meal sharing a crème brûlée, which was absolutely delicious. So perfectly caramelized that the crust tasted a little smoky, just as it should! All in all, I really lovely night, and I look forward to going back soon.
Food was fabulous with excellent service. The decor is beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent as always!
This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the Denver area. The incredible service from the moment you walk in the door coupled with the fresh, quality ingredients and TLC in every dish can be tasted. Everything we ordered was top notch, including the mushroom cavatelli, and the pear pasta, but the goat cheese souflee, the grilled octopus and the smoky creme brulee are THE BEST!
After our good friends recommend this place to us and told us this was their favorite restaurant, I decided to surprise my wife by making reservations and to their credit, this place was everything they mentioned and more. Our server Jake was phenomenal and was on top of everything! Great place + Great food + Great service = We’ll be back!!!
The food was delicious and this is quickly becoming one of our favorites restaurants. Good for dates and out with friends.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Barolo Grill for our nephew's 30th birthday! Our group was so pleased to be seated in one of the wine rooms. It made our celebration extra special and allowed all of us to easily hear the conversation, which sometimes is a challenge in busy restaurants. The food was completely delicious and artfully presented. Our waiter, Hugh was attentive, informative, and added to our overall enjoyment of a special evening. We will continue to recommend Barolo Grill to friends and we'll be back. Thank you!
The pasta and wine are always delicious. Service was perfect!
We believe that Barolo deserves all the adulation and commendation it receives. Being avid diners, we frequent the many restaurants in the Denver area, both new and established. Frankly, the restaurant under its new management is superb by any standards. The wine list is broad and sensitively selected. The menu is varied with a host of delightful choices and the service is caring and professional. Each dish served is beautifully presented and excellent.
If all of the above reads like a paid advertisement, please believe me it is not! My wife and I have been and are critical of restaurants that we've been to and are quite selective in our praise. Suffice to say that Barolo Grill is a perfect 10 in our book and it's a book with very few entries that come close.
The beef tenderloin was the best I’ve ever had—the morel mushrooms & dark, rich sauce was unbelievable! We had Missy serve us, & she was wonderful—knowledgeable & personable!! I hope I will be in Denver again sometime, so I can eat there again!
Having just moved to Denver from Boston, I have been looking for my new favorite neighborhood restaurant and I found it! Barolo Grille is a gem. Beautifully presented seasonal dishes with delightful flavors. The restaurant is elegant yet not stuffy. There’s a nice bar. The waitstaff were knowledgeable and super friendly. I will definitely be back again and again!
What a fantastic dining experience in every aspect. The food at Barolo is always good: they have the best pasta in town, the ambience is lovely and the waiters are proficient in their wine knowledge and very knowledgeable about their dishes. Simply one of our favorite places to eat at in Denver. The pasta with brown butter, figs and gorgonzola was especially out of this world on a recent visit.
First experience at Barolo. Food was excellent and wine recommendations were spot on. Service was attentive but not overly so.
Wonderful birthday celebration! Impeccable service, food and wine!
Missy was wonderful
